Heidi is an amazing awesome person who will give you great camping tips if you ask while he adorable feline demands attention. Their website gives great directions, don't even both with your gps. Oh while dumping electronics at home. You can leave your cell phone in the car. You're not getting service. If you are looking for a rustic camping experience with certain amenities, this is perfect for you. The showers are not luxurious but they're hot. Yes, they have porta potties within a short 3 minute walk from your site, or basic toilets (near the showers.-- a further walk). There is nothing modern or posh about their gorgeous campgrounds, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not the place for you. Our site was riverside... ACTUALLY river side, it was quicker for me to take a dip than walk to the potty... it is THAT close. The water is pristine. The site was very secluded. We had campers are our two adjoining sites and could not even see nor hear them at all. The only visitors we stumbled across was Mr. Beaver who lives in their creek, a couple friendly toads who said hi to my daughter at night, a ton of cuddly caterpillars for her to admire. You absolutely MUST hike the mountain and see their waterfalls.... yes plural... a few tiny ones and then a gorgeous 20ft waterfall about 30-40 minutes away. She estimated 20.... We took a bit longer. We are already trying to pick weekend o go back.

The roads are tight for larger trailers/RV's and some sites are very hard to get into. 20 & 30 amp service available with water at nearly every site. No sewers. You can dump nearby at Mongaup State Park if needed. The tent camping spots are very nice and very secluded. Very limited cell service on site. WiFi only near the campsite office.

The grounds are beautiful. I have watched chipmunks play and watched the deer walk around. The stream is peaceful. The sites are beautiful and I am so happy that I moved to such a peaceful place with my camping family. I love my site with the woods right behind me. There are places for my kids to explore. I couldn't be happier and I cannot wait for the beginning of the 2019 season to start.

It's all in a wooded area, has a nice pool, rather clean bathrooms and showers. The playground was barely holding together, but the little one didn't notice! It was quiet and managers were nice (maybe a bit too nice as they were driving across the playground 50 times/day and constantly greeting everyone). They let us checkin at 10am and leave past checkout. Although it wasn't anything special, everything went remarkably smoothly and we enjoyed the experience.

His words "keep it up and I'll bang Your wife" wow is that how you Run a business these days? The guy literally changed at me for calling him a name. What a man-child. We had to pack our campsite up at almost 10pm and leave with nowhere to go and no other campgrounds were open. There are plenty of other bad reviews to justify our discontentment. Do the world a favor and don't support this tyrant.

But ee were just looking to spend a night or two in the woods of the southern Catskills, not much more so we couldn't do it all - plus, thirteen hours of darkness now arrive around these parts in this time on the calendar (October 9tg) and just about 40* overnight with Big Phil and the new addition - Shrimp Scampi at the tender age of 15 months - one more makes a Three Dog Night - he's a stallworth young laddy passed his time chasing off all approaching fishermen and outgoing ATV's with ferociously - slightly alarming but new to the game of life, we'll just keep close watch and avoid the natives. The talk of The River permeates the crisp October air "but there's quite a few people over there" So I asked to see The Lake - we took the rig up and over rugged terrain and the lake sat perched up a twenty feet from the base campground Getting there bestowed Falls yearly yet short color splendor and grandur, the explosion of prime time foliage in the mountains. And there's something special about a swirl of fallen leaves - perhaps it's the tailspin behind us, wanting to follow but resetting instead as we rumble on. I quickly got a fire going, Marmot Limelight 2P, Vietnam Army cot, Yeti with all sorts of goodies and firewood both paid for then split with my Kelly Works axe. The ringing in my ear from the damn cellphone continually pounding and let's not leave out the grinding city rumble -- but it lightly lifted from off my soul with a bit of help from Veltins pilsner as the beer buzz began take hold - I only see Veltins upstate and not in all of these Catskill parts, so keep an eye out. Back to my beer and distractions within - I used the instructions frim my new Gillie Kettle to get my fire going as I'm not even slightly concerned about getting all 52 (inflated figure) pieces stacked and the fire going because I was going to cook a meal fit for coal miner's and accountants - a hearty thinking man's stew - but it didn't go according to plan and I got a bit miffed - so I did away with that process and put a steak on my BLACKSTONE 1650 because that's how I roll - always with backups for my backups. The thirty bucks for my campsite was fairly priced and I didn't tell y'all - I arrived on the final weekend before seasonal closing, just because I took a loopy wrong turn and I relooped it - but I'm thinking for a family with kiddos under 15, and during peak summer - this here spot is a real humdinger. For me, for what's it's worth, I'll just drive deeper into the woods - I can't say I'm a campground guy - but I respect it for what it is.

We were a little disappointment through. When we made the reservations back in March we had a choice of several sites. I asked for her recommendations for the best river site. She recommended R6 and it looked great on the map. When we arrived he told us R6 was not a great site and needed work. I'll say so......look at my photos of site R6. So we ended up across the street and down a few sites. See map in photos I attached. It was a mud pit even on the dry days. No grass or privacy. I asked if any of the concrete pad sites were available as I would pay to upgrade but he told us they were sold out. (However the one across from us was empty our entire stay.) The staff was very helpful and friendly. Not the fault of the campground but the family in the cabin by the river had a small dog that started barking at 6:30am through the day. It was annoying seeing them sit there next to the dog and let it bark.

I hate camping so when my wife told me that we are going camping, I was not a happy camper (pun…read moreintended) She then said it's not technically not camping, it's glamping (glamorous camping)- now there's a new term I never heard of before... but since she already paid for it, I'll go with the flow and not make her disconTENT. Bill Hills Farm Tent and Breakfast is located in a small town in Narrowsburg NY, it's somewhat close to the Delaware Water Gap and it's approximately a two and a half hour drive from Queens NY. TIP: It's on the way to Woodbury outlet, so you can do some shopping after glamping We got there just before it was dark, in order to gain access there, you'll need to first meet up with the owner Jane (she lived just down the block) and she'll direct you to the glamping tent. After a short 5 minutes drive into the wood, we got to the tent and since it was night time, we couldn't really see the outside of the tent, but inside- O-M-G- GLAMOROUS! Everything was wood so you still feel like you are in the wild, Queen size bed, lights and electricity, small refrigerator, table, fully functional toilet, shower with jets and a full size marble sink. It just couldn't get more inTents than this! After the tour around the tent, Jane was super sweet and asked us if we had any dietary restrictions and also what time we would like to have breakfast. We said no and then she said good night and left us to enjoy the song of the nature = cricket singing The next day breakfast was served at around 8am (thru our request), We didn't get our breakfast served to us in bed but it was atop of a TREEHOUSE!!! OMG moment #2, this is definitely a boy's (I mean MEN) dream come true!!!! Moving on to breakfast we had muffins, fruit salad, an APPLE SAUSAGE RING and scramble eggs.. I usually don't eat sausages but that apple sausage ring was delicious!!! So good that I had two servings! and I'm very critical about my scramble eggs but Jane was on point with the eggs, it was perfect- nice and fluffy, not runny and not rock solid. While we were eating, Jane suggested a few places we should check out and she even gave us detailed directions to each of these places.. she's just too nice! Unfortunately it rained both days we were there but still we had a great time hanging out in the tent and tree house. The town center itself is not big but it's cute in it's own unique way. Overall the whole stay was quite an experience, Jane was an excellent host and is super accommodating, the tent was amazing with everything well maintained, the food Jane cooked was legit! that Apple sausage ring so good!! I'm not a fan of camping but I will not mind coming back to Blue Hill Farm Tent for another glamping experience!

We did have a large group of ~15 people, 2 dogs and a rabbit. The owners were super friendly and kept checking up on us. Be warned that your campsite will still be somewhat near other people, so it would be helpful not to blast music at late night hours. There is running (cold) water at the sink where you can wash your stuff next to the bathhouse which also has cold water. The toilets are portable bathrooms, but they are the cleanest portable bathrooms I have ever been in! It is even scented (and you can smell it from the outside). You don't even smell whatever business is in there even while you are doing your own business. Although there is no running sink in the bathroom, they do provide hand sanitizer, but you can just walk a bit to the running sink. The waters were clear, and there was water activities nearby. You can also buy firewood and ice from the owners. You won't get much cellular service here if any at all. But the night sky was beautiful when I came to visit. It was clear and so much stars out, we even caught sight of a comet and 2 shooting stars! This place is one of my favorite campsites thanks to Kevin and Ann (the campsite owners).

There are four domes available, each with their distinct personalities. We stayed in the Modern Luxury dome, which was plenty space for the two of us, but there are others that have nearly double the space. Our dome was outfitted with a ton of creature comforts, like a full kitchenette, a full bathroom, a wall-mounted TV (with complimentary Youtube Premium!), and an extremely comfortable mattress on an adjustable head- and foot-power base, so that we were able to watch the snowfall outside our igloo from the perfect position. Checking in was a cinch. Each dome is programmed with a numeric lock, and the passcode corresponds with the last digits of the lodger's phone number, so gaining access is super easy. Inside, the space is definitely one-of-a-kind. It's like a giant igloo, with the bathroom making up the center middle and the rest of the studio space orients around the perimeter. The bed looks onto the outside, which presents a unique and serene windowscape. We hit some small snafus during our visit. We arrived just ahead of a big snowstorm, and it was pretty cold inside even with the heat left on at a supposed 75 degrees. After emailing and calling the property manager, someone showed up with a space heater that made a huge difference. After the storm subsided, someone also came by and wordlessly shoveled all the driveways and walkways, which we certainly appreciated. The immediate neighborhood is pretty quiet and doesn't have a whole lot going on, but we were able to find a few things that allowed us to carve out our own version of the fun stay. Within driving distance, there's a supermarket, Resorts World casino, Kartrite indoor water park, and two small tubing/skiing options.

Everything was super clean and offered amazing amenities such as shampoo, hand soap, towels, and a full use kitchen! I was also so impressed by the dog friendly amenities, such as a water bowl and adorable dog bed included. Since it was snowing out, we did not have a chance to use the adorable chair swings, bbq grill, or firepit on premises, but each dome also has their own private outdoor area of those included. The location was nice, in the sense of you are definitely out in nature, but have a Walmart and other local spots within a few minutes drive, as well as the Resort's World casino! Overall, the perfect spot for a cute getaway or bachelorette for those that love nature, but aren't quite the camping type like myself.
