Really was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. Great owners-who really walk you through it and are there if you need them, but make themselves scarce for your privacy. Beautiful and AMAZING views at Two Bridges. Loved waking up and seeing and hearing the river. Nice trails-clearly marked and there are different levels depending on your level of fitness. But the easy trail-still was a great hike. I have a bum foot, so was limited on what I could do. The River Trail was beautiful and had great views. No cell phone or Internet-I thought I would freak, but I found it so relaxing to be able to really get away. I'm a complete email junkie-and I LOVED it. The cabin I was in-Two Bridges was very clean and was decorated beautifully and understated. And in floor heat! Fireplace was dual bedroom and living room and was very easy to work with the included firewood. I really loved it here! And-already planning a trip back!

I stayed on a campsite at Sylvania Tree Farm with a group of friends during Labor Day Weekend 2014…read moreand we can't stop raving about how much we loved this place! Jane and her family were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating upon arrival. They escorted us to our site which was located only a short drive away from the entrance. After making sure we were all set, they left us to enjoy the rest of our weekend. The site itself was spacious and secluded from the other campers within a close walk to the bathroom facilities. The Delaware river was in our backyard and the scenery was picturesque. There was a fire pit and two picnic tables set up for your convenience. The only animals we encountered were friendly Bambi's, fuzzy caterpillar friends, and the usual pesty mosquitoes. There were no Pooh Bears or any of the like which made our stay all the more relaxing. I've done my fair share of camping and I can attest to the fact their bathrooms are super clean for camping standards! The hot showers in their facilities, despite costing a small fortune in quarters ($1.50 for 3 mins) are an added bonus. It became our daily challenge to beat the clock and served as a reminder to "be green". The owners even came to remove our garbage from the site! Prepare to be cut off from civilization and become one with nature (unless you have Verizon or Sprint service. I have AT&T and did not have service until I was a good 5 miles past the camp grounds). All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and plan to return. I highly recommend this site to all 'glampers' (glamour campers) and beginners.

Happy Days Campground is a great Rustic Campground with tenting campsites as well as full hookups…read morefor RVs and campers at very reasonable rates ... The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Booked for the Bethel Woods concert goers.

I hate camping so when my wife told me that we are going camping, I was not a happy camper (pun…read moreintended) She then said it's not technically not camping, it's glamping (glamorous camping)- now there's a new term I never heard of before... but since she already paid for it, I'll go with the flow and not make her disconTENT. Bill Hills Farm Tent and Breakfast is located in a small town in Narrowsburg NY, it's somewhat close to the Delaware Water Gap and it's approximately a two and a half hour drive from Queens NY. TIP: It's on the way to Woodbury outlet, so you can do some shopping after glamping We got there just before it was dark, in order to gain access there, you'll need to first meet up with the owner Jane (she lived just down the block) and she'll direct you to the glamping tent. After a short 5 minutes drive into the wood, we got to the tent and since it was night time, we couldn't really see the outside of the tent, but inside- O-M-G- GLAMOROUS! Everything was wood so you still feel like you are in the wild, Queen size bed, lights and electricity, small refrigerator, table, fully functional toilet, shower with jets and a full size marble sink. It just couldn't get more inTents than this! After the tour around the tent, Jane was super sweet and asked us if we had any dietary restrictions and also what time we would like to have breakfast. We said no and then she said good night and left us to enjoy the song of the nature = cricket singing The next day breakfast was served at around 8am (thru our request), We didn't get our breakfast served to us in bed but it was atop of a TREEHOUSE!!! OMG moment #2, this is definitely a boy's (I mean MEN) dream come true!!!! Moving on to breakfast we had muffins, fruit salad, an APPLE SAUSAGE RING and scramble eggs.. I usually don't eat sausages but that apple sausage ring was delicious!!! So good that I had two servings! and I'm very critical about my scramble eggs but Jane was on point with the eggs, it was perfect- nice and fluffy, not runny and not rock solid. While we were eating, Jane suggested a few places we should check out and she even gave us detailed directions to each of these places.. she's just too nice! Unfortunately it rained both days we were there but still we had a great time hanging out in the tent and tree house. The town center itself is not big but it's cute in it's own unique way. Overall the whole stay was quite an experience, Jane was an excellent host and is super accommodating, the tent was amazing with everything well maintained, the food Jane cooked was legit! that Apple sausage ring so good!! I'm not a fan of camping but I will not mind coming back to Blue Hill Farm Tent for another glamping experience!

There's a crystal clear creek running through the campground. The creek and the river are magical places for kids to play. They search for tadpoles and other critters and can swim in the protected lagoon, which gets deeper gradually. Finally, you can lay in the rushing river water for the ultimate spa experience. Can you tell we liked it here? The campground is run by a family who has had the land in their hands for generations. They are excited and kind about sharing it with visitors and have created an awesome culture of friendliness and respect among campers and the campground owners. There is a well equipped camp store with everything you might have forgotten and even local pottery. The bathrooms and grounds are very clean. They also run tube, canoe and kayak trips where they'll drop you off upriver and you'll finish at Soaring Eagle. We did a tube float down the river which was the highlight of the trip. There weren't many others on the river with us which was a special thing. They also rent canoes and kayaks. We'll try those next time.
