Really was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. Great owners-who really walk you through it and are there if you need them, but make themselves scarce for your privacy. Beautiful and AMAZING views at Two Bridges. Loved waking up and seeing and hearing the river. Nice trails-clearly marked and there are different levels depending on your level of fitness. But the easy trail-still was a great hike. I have a bum foot, so was limited on what I could do. The River Trail was beautiful and had great views. No cell phone or Internet-I thought I would freak, but I found it so relaxing to be able to really get away. I'm a complete email junkie-and I LOVED it. The cabin I was in-Two Bridges was very clean and was decorated beautifully and understated. And in floor heat! Fireplace was dual bedroom and living room and was very easy to work with the included firewood. I really loved it here! And-already planning a trip back!

Jane and her family were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating upon arrival. They escorted us to our site which was located only a short drive away from the entrance. After making sure we were all set, they left us to enjoy the rest of our weekend. The site itself was spacious and secluded from the other campers within a close walk to the bathroom facilities. The Delaware river was in our backyard and the scenery was picturesque. There was a fire pit and two picnic tables set up for your convenience. The only animals we encountered were friendly Bambi's, fuzzy caterpillar friends, and the usual pesty mosquitoes. There were no Pooh Bears or any of the like which made our stay all the more relaxing. I've done my fair share of camping and I can attest to the fact their bathrooms are super clean for camping standards! The hot showers in their facilities, despite costing a small fortune in quarters ($1.50 for 3 mins) are an added bonus. It became our daily challenge to beat the clock and served as a reminder to "be green". The owners even came to remove our garbage from the site! Prepare to be cut off from civilization and become one with nature (unless you have Verizon or Sprint service. I have AT&T and did not have service until I was a good 5 miles past the camp grounds). All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and plan to return. I highly recommend this site to all 'glampers' (glamour campers) and beginners.

Bill Hills Farm Tent and Breakfast is located in a small town in Narrowsburg NY, it's somewhat close to the Delaware Water Gap and it's approximately a two and a half hour drive from Queens NY. TIP: It's on the way to Woodbury outlet, so you can do some shopping after glamping We got there just before it was dark, in order to gain access there, you'll need to first meet up with the owner Jane (she lived just down the block) and she'll direct you to the glamping tent. After a short 5 minutes drive into the wood, we got to the tent and since it was night time, we couldn't really see the outside of the tent, but inside- O-M-G- GLAMOROUS! Everything was wood so you still feel like you are in the wild, Queen size bed, lights and electricity, small refrigerator, table, fully functional toilet, shower with jets and a full size marble sink. It just couldn't get more inTents than this! After the tour around the tent, Jane was super sweet and asked us if we had any dietary restrictions and also what time we would like to have breakfast. We said no and then she said good night and left us to enjoy the song of the nature = cricket singing The next day breakfast was served at around 8am (thru our request), We didn't get our breakfast served to us in bed but it was atop of a TREEHOUSE!!! OMG moment #2, this is definitely a boy's (I mean MEN) dream come true!!!! Moving on to breakfast we had muffins, fruit salad, an APPLE SAUSAGE RING and scramble eggs.. I usually don't eat sausages but that apple sausage ring was delicious!!! So good that I had two servings! and I'm very critical about my scramble eggs but Jane was on point with the eggs, it was perfect- nice and fluffy, not runny and not rock solid. While we were eating, Jane suggested a few places we should check out and she even gave us detailed directions to each of these places.. she's just too nice! Unfortunately it rained both days we were there but still we had a great time hanging out in the tent and tree house. The town center itself is not big but it's cute in it's own unique way. Overall the whole stay was quite an experience, Jane was an excellent host and is super accommodating, the tent was amazing with everything well maintained, the food Jane cooked was legit! that Apple sausage ring so good!! I'm not a fan of camping but I will not mind coming back to Blue Hill Farm Tent for another glamping experience!

I think, knowing what to expect and planning around it, this could be a great place to go camping, though probably better with an RV. We were camping with tents - two neighboring sites for two families- and had small children with us. We booked a lake front site on the southern "Pioneer Area" since the person at the camp ground suggested it would be quieter and away from the RVs and seasonal campers. This didn't work out that way. The first problem was the huge party going on. It spanned multiple camp sites. The people were friendly enough, but they were loud. The first night they played music until 2am. The second until 12:30am. They also brought portable batteries to power bright lights. It seemed like a fun party - but the entire point in getting non-electric sites on the removed camp grounds was in the hope it would be quiet. At about 11pm, we looked up the quiet hours policy and found it was midnight to 4am. Fortunately, the second night I think the staff came around to enforce quiet hours... but for camp grounds, that's a really late quiet hours. I'd suggest they have stricter quiet hours in the Pioneer area. The next problem is the density. Looking at the camp fire pits and some other hints, I think they recently split what used to be one camp site into three. This means a lot of people. Considering the two plumbed bath houses each consisted of one womens room with one stall and one shower, and a men's room with one stall and one shower (the one by the playground also had a urinal, but the toilet stall was so small I think many guys wouldn't fit in it) - I spent a few days being confused as to why there wasn't a constant line. It turns out there are a handful of very old wooden outhouses, and then I realized many people were bringing their own toilets. Still, I don't understand why they didn't just put in a traditional bath house with multiple stalls. The other issue with density (compounded by a spread out party) was the number of cars going in and out all night. Since the camp sites are small, you're near the road, so that meant cars and flashlights lighting up your tent all night. They are starting to offer glamping - and the tent structures really are top notch. My suggestion to the would be to finish the conversion of Pioneer area to complete glamping sites. Add in a bunch more bathrooms, including ones with multiple stalls. This would reduce the density (glamping sites were about 2-3x the size of regular sites). I would also enforce stricter quiet hours (10-6 like most sites) in the Pioneer area. In the end, it was a sleepless weekend, but we got to go in the lake, check out the pool (a bit cloudy which is worrisome), had fries from the shop (they were great) and took out a paddleboat. Parking on the main camp site is limited, so getting their around 10am is your best bet, or drive a ways up the road to find parking. Star gazing was pretty great too. The last part is just a funny anecdote. There's a guy who owns land right next to the main office. He undercuts the camp's price on Propane, firewood and bait. I really want to learn the history of how that came to be.

Landers assured us our 5-mile tubing trip would be a chill three-hour float. Cute. The Delaware River clearly didn't get the memo, because in some spots the current stops entirely. You'll have to use your arms like oars -- not fun when your only paddles are your hands and growing resentment. Pro tip: if you have kids under 12, they'll be too small for the massive tubes and too weak to help. So congrats -- you're towing a human anchor while slowly baking alive. And just when you think you've made it, Landers hits you with the final boss: a shoreline of thick, goopy mud that sucks your shoes off and your soul with it. Because who doesn't want to end the worst vacation day ever by trudging through six inches of swamp muck? Never again. Thanks for the trauma, Landers.

We were a little disappointment through. When we made the reservations back in March we had a choice of several sites. I asked for her recommendations for the best river site. She recommended R6 and it looked great on the map. When we arrived he told us R6 was not a great site and needed work. I'll say so......look at my photos of site R6. So we ended up across the street and down a few sites. See map in photos I attached. It was a mud pit even on the dry days. No grass or privacy. I asked if any of the concrete pad sites were available as I would pay to upgrade but he told us they were sold out. (However the one across from us was empty our entire stay.) The staff was very helpful and friendly. Not the fault of the campground but the family in the cabin by the river had a small dog that started barking at 6:30am through the day. It was annoying seeing them sit there next to the dog and let it bark.
