The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. People drive fast here, and the roads are back country type. Not the safest. I was also curious about what rental was like, bc I was thinking about coming back with friends in the spring for hiking. Immediately, a kid comes over and makes it known that I'm unwelcome. I tell her my situation and she leaves. Then before I could even leave (!), an aggressive weirdo on a golf cart, comes over and lets me know that I can't be there for just a minute to get my bearings and leave. "That happens on the public roads," he says. And "we only rent to friends". I don't recommend staying here unless you enjoy a hostile, cult-like "welcome". And if you're a member of the public, bc apparently they don't want you there.

There is plenty of relaxing entertainment - hammocks already set up, horseshoes, playground, pool, and they had live entertainment on the weekend. The campground is nice. Not too large, not too tiny. Has 1 shower house, and 2 sets of restrooms in the main area. Large pool, and it's easy to get places from there. The only downside I found was that for some campsites you have to straddle a ditch when pulling in, so you need to be a bit careful. Definitely recommend!

The pictures from the website are spot on and haven't been altered or exaggerated to the point where you're like, "What did I pay for? This isn't what I was expecting..." The staff is friendly and helpful as well. While we were there, the power went out in half of our dome because of the weather (big storm), and when I texted them, they were quick to respond and fix it right away. A few things you should know when planning to go here: - They have all the spices you need and cooking oil, so there's no need to bring any. - They also give you several bottles of water stocked in the mini-fridge. - Internet speeds are good, so you don't have to worry. I was able to stream Netflix without any issues. What could've been better? - Not being able to park close to your site is a bit of a pain. Yes, the staff will help you bring your stuff to your dome with their carts, but if you need to leave the area, it's a bit of a walk. - The pillows are really soft. If you prefer a bit more fluff, then you should bring your own. - The shower tends to make a mess. Even though you close the doors correctly, a lot of water leaks. I made sure the second day we were there to put extra towels down around the shower so it didn't make as much of a mess. Overall, though, I was pretty satisfied with Domes at Catskills.

6 Hours of Sunburned Regret - Landers River Trap........f you've ever dreamed of drifting…read morepeacefully down a river for three relaxing hours, don't come here -- unless you meant six hours of sun-scorched misery while your children cry and you paddle like a deranged gondolier just to keep moving. Landers assured us our 5-mile tubing trip would be a chill three-hour float. Cute. The Delaware River clearly didn't get the memo, because in some spots the current stops entirely. You'll have to use your arms like oars -- not fun when your only paddles are your hands and growing resentment. Pro tip: if you have kids under 12, they'll be too small for the massive tubes and too weak to help. So congrats -- you're towing a human anchor while slowly baking alive. And just when you think you've made it, Landers hits you with the final boss: a shoreline of thick, goopy mud that sucks your shoes off and your soul with it. Because who doesn't want to end the worst vacation day ever by trudging through six inches of swamp muck? Never again. Thanks for the trauma, Landers.

Campsite (3/5): These are a bit stacked on top of each other but our group had two next to each other so it didn't impact us too much. Ambiance (4/5): These campsites are right on the water which is absolutely stunning! You really feel like you're in nature, but there is a major road near the top campsites and even by the water you can hear road noise. There was a huge group at the top which partied into the night though we're up late anyhow and it was no issue for us. Consider earplugs if you're not like us. Bathrooms (4/5): These were relatively clean for a campground bathroom. Minus a star here because on the last day the women's room was out of order -- but I believe it was due to another guest, as a member of our party heard someone say "oh no it's not flushing!" TL;DR: Great for those late-into-the-night campers. If you stay here make sure you get a waterfront spot.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The campsites are well-spaced, and each spot comes with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, and the water temperature was warm enough for a comfortable shower. The camp also has a small store with all the essentials, and there's a Walmart and McDonald's nearby for anything you may need beyond that. They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp.

Pocono/Delaware scenery is definitely 5 stars but it is not KC achievement. We have used KC for the last 20 years every year, and firsthand witnessed how it is going downhill. On the last trip, none of the canoes had working foot rests, which is a must have if you want to row correctly and not break your back. And that is where, Daniel and Chris came to the rescue - they dove into 2 trailers and found us 4 working boats. It is a good thing that it was a mid-week and they were able to provide such personal touch. Just sad when you see a company going downhill like that.
