A good standby when you don't know where to go. Veggie Burger Review - this is a good decent Black Bean Burger. Burger is probably one of the frozen ones, but it is a good size and thickness. Taste is great with a little spice and bits in corn inside. One of my favorites. A good Veggie Burger when you just want a (Veggie) burger and beer. Oh, and decent beers too. Tonight I had the Sam Adams Cold Snap, one of my favorites. BTW - the side salads are huge.

Always great food and service. Buffalo Mac-n-cheese is a must. Steak tips with double mashed potatoes is one of my favorites.

I immediately noticed a food pantry box for donations in the lobby as well as a Lions club eye glass recycling box and I felt right at home, thinking this restaurant is committed to community out reach. Our meals came out fast, our waitress Angie was a power house and chatter quieted down offering a sign that everyone's food was hitting the spot. I personally loved my well done flatbread pizza as i am a crunch -a-holic and they honored my request. As we were leaving I found that they have a regular visually impaired visitor and then it all made sense. Nicole and Angie your hearts make this home town eatery and bar a very welcoming place. I started off with a drink and asked for a menu. The bartender was very nice. All of them are. Every time someone new walked by me they asked if I needed anything. I ordered the same meal as before, smash burger with fries and onion rings. The burger is so good and so well constructed. You taste every layer burger, bacon, pickles , cheese, special sauce. I added a little ketchup, first time I had it I didn't add the ketchup. This place is great. Stop by if you want good food and an even better atmosphere.

Sometimes people recommend spots that just don't hit right with you because it isn't your thing…read more That's OK, let others enjoy themselves, but that shouldn't stop you from trying other things at the location. Such is the case with Tree House Brewing Company started in Brimfield, MA and moved to Charlton, MA. Their legend is built of the juicy New England India Pale Ales (NEIPAs) like Julius, Green, and Haze. People had me try the cans of these before and not surprising to me, I didn't like them. That didn't stop me from going to the newer Tewksbury location to try it out. This is the old clubhouse at the Tewksbury Country Club, which is outright beautiful with wood paneling and designs everywhere. Its massive halls are filled with golfer bros, work outings, and generations of families. My measuring stick at a new brew spot is to try at least four beers I like. With Tree House's massive selection of flavors including sours, ales, pilsner, stouts, seltzers, and distilled spirits, it was not hard to find. Even though the servers looked at me strangely when I removed the entire IPA page from my line of vision, they did help me find the less hop-forward beers. Here are the beers I had: *** Human Condition Nitro Stout *** Easy Does It Pilsner **** Enduring Relief Rye Beer **** Catharsis Porter *** Mom's Ray of Sunshine Extra Strawberry Peanut Stout . Julius (with Peach & Guava) What I really came here to try was the *** Pepperoni Pizza (7.3) Order this thing BEFORE any beer, it takes them quite a while to make. A lot of pictures from several sources made it look like my style, and it is that thin crust with little flop and enough flavor in the toppings and sauce to carry the bread. The toppings were good, the sauce was tasty, BUT the crust of the pizza disappointed me this time. Once you've invested in the pizza, it started to taste like great toppings on cardboard - no other way to describe it. The first pieces when hot were pretty good, but as it cooled it got harder and harder to eat. The score might have been high 8's or low 9's if the crust didn't bother me so much. Overall, it's a beautiful spot in the middle of Tewksbury and the brewery is legendary for a reason. It truly caters to the beer officianados and world travelers, after white collar work crowd, and the golfing buddies. It is limited in its offerings and I'm used to breweries offering many more food options, so like I said, it's not for me. Be well, eat well, and thank a farmer.

My husband made an online order for pickup, but I wanted to check the place out so I went in for a pour and drank it outside in one of the many spots you can venture outside. There's a lovely bridge overlooking the golf course, a gazebo with tables, tables in the sun, tables in the shade, Adirondack chairs facing a pond, even a rooftop deck. So many outdoor options! Of course there are also a bunch of nooks for indoor seating as well as long wooden tables with benches. The pizza looked and smelled freaking phenomenal. I wanted one with vodka sauce but I'll have to wait to try it when my husband goes with me. They have a draft beer bar and a cocktail/mocktail bar in different areas. A few tiny bathrooms throughout and a shop with lots of golf gear and other merch. I ended up making an online order when I realized they make their own spirits and other fun canned cocktail type drinks. OMG they even have regular seltzer water in cans with flavors like cotton candy!! When you pickup an order, you park in a designated spot, checkin online and tell them which spot you're in. They will bring your order out to your car. So convenient! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

I had a really nice time bowling. The lane server was attentive although we only got drinks, and the jokes and fun facts on the screen kept me asking my husband if he read it too lol. The hour was plenty of time for 3 rounds, but we only went with 2 people. The food looked and smelled good, but we had just eaten. I would love to try the food next time. Afterward, we went to the arcade and had a blast! I hadn't been to an arcade in years, but we both hit jackpots on a few games, used the Photo Booth to take some funny pictures, played air hockey, Mario Kart, carnival games, and plenty of other fun things! We are already planning our next visit, which might be today!!

I had ordered the Alpha Dog which comes with fries AND a side Caesar salad, instead they subbed the fries for the salad. With the exception of the fish and chips everything was good. Unfortunately my husband hated the fish and chips. It was too greasy and heavy. He barely touched it and our waitress didn't even notice. The game section of Wamesit was pretty disappointing. More than half the games were out of order. However the bowling was awesome. We did find the bathrooms to be rather messy and in need of cleaning up. We will probably give them a second chance but we hope they make some improvements.

Bar area is comfortable and they have six or so televisions hanging on the wall tuned in to various sports channels. On a Red Sox game day or Sunday Patriots football, this is probably quite the spot. We sat outside this evening and other than several entirely too loud motorcycles going to and fro with the Harley dealer up the street, it was quite pleasant. We had good service from a friendly waitress who mostly got our orders correct and when she didn't, apologized. I had the sirloin steak tips for main course. A big portion of large pieces of meat, they were covered in a bourbon sauce that was tasty. And now that I think about it, I wasn't asked how I wanted them done. They were medium. Onion rings on the side were tasty. Desserts looked great. Apple crisp and hot fudge sundae were good sized portions and presented well. Overall, a positive experience and I would return to Jon Ryan's. Maybe next time, we'll sit inside away from the noisy bikes. [Review 17866 overall - 1125 in Massachusetts - 1387 of 2022.]
