First review ever. I usually do not make time for this but this is the worst service/business I have ever experienced. My wife took our cracked LCD screen Ipad in over a month ago and we are still waiting for it. With several phone calls asking it's whereabouts and an expected repaired/pick up date - they cannot provide us any details. I would expect that any business owner would take pride and have integrity in his business operations. The staff will not provide you with any contact info to help you surpass the 'front line' and will lie over and over again to cover up whatever it is that is going on with your device. They even make you pay up front for this horrible service. We were told that the part was available upon drop off. Then were told that they were all out of black screens (after 3 weeks and that's why it was taking so long) and offered us white as the other black ones got broken. We said sure and hoped to have it back shortly. Still waiting. At no point have they called us to keep us updated. We have left a note to have a manager call us and to no avail. He seems to not care very much about his business. Also, noticed that they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and there is a similar complaint listed. To Ryan and Mike of 99 Repairs - I will do my very best to tell everyone I know to stay as far away from your business. In the small towns of Whistler and Squamish, word travels fast. read more

Ridiculous experience. Do not take your phone here unless you plan on taking stock of every damage the phone already has because it may come back more broken. When picking up my phone, apparently it was dead and the person at the counter didnt even know if it was my phone or not. She was in such a rush that she wouldn't even bother taking the time to charge it and verify that it was mine. After leaving I realized there was another crack on the phone. Not knowing whether this was my phone or not, I walked back into the store to verify for sure. Another person came out of the back and he just kept repeating "I know for a fact this wasnt damaged here, we would never do this, I saw this phone when it came in and this crack wasnt here." Well, actually I just wanted to verify that is was my phone, and really this place was straight up rude and unaccountable. Now, Im not sure whether they broke it or not, but the way they treat their customers is enough reason to go elsewhere. read more

Repaired my screen twice in the last two months. After 3 years and no damage I actually sat on my phone and broke the screen... my bad. The 2 replacement screens have broken without sustaining an impact event. Not sure why they broke but 99 Repairs does not use genuine Apple glass and won't back up the product they sell. I can't take my phone back here a 3rd time. Will buck up and get it done at a genuine Apple service provider and get it done right... read more

Ive never written a review anywhere before but I feel like this has to get out there to prevent future harm to other customers. Avoid this place at all costs. Shop tech lied to my face, said he ran a diagnostic and that my phone wouldn't turn on and proceeds to try to sell me an outrageously priced phone to replace mine. However as I leave the shop my phone turns on and starts ringing and vibrating (the screen was broken) I go back and ask for a diagnostic report and there was none because they never ran a diagnostic nor even looked at my phone, it sat on their counter for 5 days. The owner (Mike) then promises to deliver the phone to his other location so they can start the work the same day. I don't hear back from the shop for two weeks. Turns out the owner negligently left my phone in his truck for 6!!!! days. The truck was stolen the day before the phone was due to be completed, yet he never delivered it to his other store. He lied to my face and then was negligent with my phone. After all this they refused to replace my phone and now have offered 80$ to replace my Iphone 7, they had my phone for 2 weeks never worked on it and it got stolen and they refuse to take the blame. Avoid this place like the plague, businesses like this are toxic to the sea to sky community. I have begun civil litigation again Highway 99 repairs and I advise everyone to stay away from this place, they have no integrity and will try to take advantage of their customers. TLDR: Lied to my face twice, were negligent with my property resulting in it getting stolen and refuse to replace the property. read more

Broke my phone rock climbing. Yeah I know right...first rodeo? Anywhoo, I needed it fixed quickly cause I'm visiting and feel utterly lost and incompetent without my smart iphone device. How else am I gonna make my friends jealous with my cool adventures without Instagram. Duh. These guys fixed it lighting quick and were super friendly. Prices were decent considering the area. Damaged my laptop screen leaving it inoperable while repairing the charge port 4 months ago. Avoid this store at all costs. Incompetent, dishonest and evasive. Took longer than the time time they quoted and never had the integrity to contact me and explain what they had damaged, I had to go in and get this information myself after they had failed to meet their own timeline for a repair. Since then, they have failed to take responsibility for the damage they have done, repair the damage they did or offer any sort of recourse whatsoever. Have been given constant excuses as to why they are unable to repair the damage they caused and I have had to go in personally to get each of these excuses as there has been no communication on their end at all throughout this entire 4 month debacle. Easily the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever made the mistake of dealing with, the experience would be laughably poor if it hadn't left me with a ruined laptop. read more

Broke my screen by dropping it on tile. Went to 99 repairs in Squamish. The first time I went to drop it off they weren't even open at 11 (the time they advertise to be open) so I waited a half hour and still no one showed up. Came back a couple days later to drop off my phone. When I picked it up I noticed right away the screen quality was not nearly as good. Almost looks like theres a weird filter on my screen now. May have been my fault for not realizing that they would use cheap quality material which makes sense, but really lacks visually when using now vs the vibrant apple screen I had prior. The next day my phone started having issues. My phone would barely work because my pictures kept reloading and my messages deleted. My phone kept crashing and my phone kept making sounds that didn't apply to the app I was using (E.g Vibrate as though I received an e-mail, but there was no new mail). Phone still has issues now like freezing and deleting data. Now I'm forced to by a brand new phone... stick to apple and avoid 99 repairs. read more
