I walked in to this place in need of a manicure and pedicure. I was happy they took walkins. I sat in the chair with high hopes. The man rubbed my legs so hard, he created bruises. I told him to ease up and he called me a baby and laughed. He then scrubbed my feet for calluses. He rubbed so hard, he cut my heel open. I pointed it out and he told me to put Bicks on it. He painted my toes and they looked ok from afar. Closeup you could see all the spots that were missed and smudged. We started on my nails. The manicure itself was good. I asked for a specific shape and even showed a picture. It was nothing like I asked. I had to file them once I got home. Polish job was terrible. The polish didn't even go to the ends of my nails. Fast forward, my heel starts to hurt where it was scraped. I put ointment on it for several days. This morning, it's now 2 weeks, and I have an abcess that I had to open to release. I might be headed to the doctor for an antibiotic. Would I go back? Maybe. If I didn't get this guy again. read more

Visited here for a wedding party. Sadly five of my fingers bleed when the guy did my nails. I get my nails done regularly and this is never an issue with my current salon. I will say I was the only one of the five of us that had a bad experience, however, it was not enough of a good experience to make me swap salons. I finally found a nail tech that listens to what I'd like. I knew I wanted green for Christmas, so when I got there the owner found the perfect shade for me (it matched my nail tech Tammy's sweater ). Tammy was gentle, fast, accommodating, both ladies were! Tammy left me for 5 minutes to run outside and get a delivery (it's her birthday). then rushed back in to finish me. Im in love with my nails... the color, the design, everything just perfect!! She refused to take a tip (because of her leaving for 5 mins). I encouraged her to accept it because 1. I loved them, 2 she went above and beyond and 3... IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY!!! After trying some other places in Tulsa which i think didn't do a good job after me giving them 2 chances (i always give businesses 2 chances) so i decided to go to 96th Nail bar yesterday since its close to where i live. I was nicely welcomed, the salon was clean, and the staff friendly. I went fr a dipping and a pedicure with shellac. The guy who did my nails was Tom, very professional and listened to everything i said when it came to my thin nail bed and all! And let me tell you ma girl Raven fr my pedicure was so fun to talk to and them hands soft! I cant wait to go back in a couple weeks. read more

I wanted to leave 96th Street Nails a great review. This was probably my 4th visit. They have wonderful customer service. Even though they were busy, they made sure to take time with each customer. I called in advance to request that they give my mom a good experience at a nail salon. She did not have the best of luck in other places. They made sure one person stayed with her the whole time. Went here for the first time and was very happy however when I went back for a fill I left feeling very irritated and unhappy. I spent $55 to get my nails FILLED not a new set and in less than a week they have chipped and broke. Not to mention immediately after I left my nails were so rough they were catching my hair and pulling it out!! I try my best to give positive reviews because everyone has bad days however I will never return and I advise everyone to stay away. I usually get acrylic nails everywhere I go but this place has been far the worst. The acrylic when applied was gummy allowing it to break off super easy. I kept asking for them to go shorter and they couldn't grasp that concept. I also asked for a coffin shape and while it looks like they tried my nails are definitely squared. Also they told me I couldn't use a color that they had because it was too clear and wouldn't look good (so why have it?) I can usually make my acrylics last a month but it's not even been 10 days. Plus the prices were on the more pricey side for crap nails. It also took them forever before they finally got around to me. read more

I went there to check it out since it was a new bar and I was in the area. I called ahead and the managed to get me an appointment within an hour. It's really pretty and neatly kept. However there were like three people that touched my nails. The only part is I didn't see them sanitize hand unless they did it from the back they moved me from chair one to chair 12 and didn't wipe it down. While mask are required I didn't see much being wiped down. The nails came out okay and they are running a 20% off special. So a shellac manicure ran $28 dollars. I didn't like that they wrapped my shellac and then used the drill to get the excess off. They could have used the cuticle pusher like my main nail shop does. I will also say that a young lady is there working a a small translator. Now where I have to give my props is the massage at the end that I received with my manicure. I would try them again. I wouldn't do a French though because I am just ocd and like thing neat and shaped a little more. They offer drinks of sprite, water, coke. I am not sure about the wine list though. read more

I've been to the salon twice and was absolutely delighted both times. I've picked a favorite manicurist, but only because of her conversational ability. They were both delightful and went well beyond what was required in the services I paid to have. I have only my natural nails cared for and painted/ shellacked. And they never pressure me to do more. The place is clean, well- lit, and professionally operated. I'd highly recommend them any day. read more

Came in for a classic manicure because my regular manicurist at my main salon has been out for a family emergency. I really wanted to like it but sadly there are some things lacking. Didn't get all the old polish off when removing it. The water to soak my nails was ice cold and was just water. Never asked how I wanted my natural nails shaped and before I could say anything started filing them down even though I said to just shape and keep the length. I've never had any manicurist use a large spray bottle of alcohol on my nails before polishing them but it dried my skin out terribly. I've never had any want you to pay while your nails are still wet nor offer to get my wallet out of my purse I politely declined because a) COVID and b) hello? My wallet! Employees wear masks but don't maintain social distance. Very doubtful I will be back even though it's closer than my normal salon. read more

I usually get my nails done here all the time sense I live down the street from them,but I started to notice how they were becoming rude!The first sign was when I came with my girlfriend we were both getting pedicures,were both from the lbgt community,Every body kept skipping her and you could tell nobody wanted to touch her feet due to her being a girl dressing like a man!!I feel like they were discriminating against her.They were bickering weather who should do her nails and it was obvious nobody wanted to.So I just let the thought go and went there a few months later again.and found out I was right about them the whole time.I came in to get my nails done.few days past and broke a nail went back to get it fix and I started to hear the lady manager yelling something out in her language to her husband.I had a deep feeling they were talking about me.so I waited there a whole hour for the lady to grab my hand aggressively just to prep it and then leave!she didn't even finish my nail after the long wait and she started yelling something else to the other guy that was working there.I finally stepped in pissed off asking Them if there was a problem!The man said "I'm very sorry for her acting rudely "he defended her by stating she was sick.Theres no excuses for treating your customers any type of way especially when you go and spend almost 200 dollars in services with them!!They were very rude and the lady never even apologized for acting the way she did!They lost me as a customer and it's very sad they don't care. read more
