I got engaged in Feb 2025 and decided to have my wedding August 2025 which put us on a time crunch to find a catering service. My wedding coordinator put me in touch with Kreig from 96H brand catering and let me TELL you him and his staff do not come to play they come to win. They completely went above and beyond our catering expectations. He was able to get us a halal menu which was very important for my family. We went in for a tasting and he had amazing dishes set up for us and listened carefully to our suggestions and taste preferences. For appetizers we had: stuffed mushrooms, ceviche, Hawaiian glazed meatballs, and teriyaki chicken skewers. All of which were so amazing and our guests THOROUGHLY ENJOYED. For dinner they provided us with: Cesar salad, prime rib, bbq chicken, Spanish rice, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, roasted garlic, and horseradish. All of which were scrumptious. Last minute we had asked them if they could label foods that were gluten and dairy free which they were able to accommodate. He was always very responsive and was easy to get in contact with whenever I had any questions. I had the peace of mind knowing that I did not have to worry about a THING. We got married on June 25, 2022 but originally booked with 96H before the pandemic. We had tried countless BBQ catering from all over the Bay Area and none met our standard for BBQ. Too long; didn't read 96H is delicious, detail-oriented, professional, and reasonably priced. They catered our wedding, where the bar was high. That bar was not only met, but exceeded. Krieg (aka Tawfick) was responsive and professional throughout the process. Before: Krieg cooked us a sample meal 1 year prior to our event, complete with a whole prime rib for 3 people. We had numerous telephone calls to touch base. Krieg was flexible, and accommodated our many changes. Beyond addressing our concerns, he also foresaw obstacles that we didn't, and worked-in solutions to resolve them. These include meals for our vegan friends, and nuts on the side for those with allergies. Day of: 96H was prompt, and needed no guidance/direction from us, since they worked with the other vendors for their needs. The food was abundant, aesthetically pleasing and most importantly, delicious. I still have family members that rave about the hand-carved herb-roasted prime rib, complete with 3 different horseradish sauces. Bear in mind this is after the crab cakes, charcuterie, stuffed mushrooms, green salad... After: Krieg is STILL emailing us to wish us a happy anniversary. Krieg, the business owner, helped us plan a menu for about 30 people and worked with us to accommodate some dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free) for some of our guests. Absolutely exceptional. We made arrangements with a local restaurant for an event at the Vet's Hall. Verified with the restaurant several times that they could meet the 11am delivery time and they verified each time. 2 days before the event they told us that their staff would not be arriving until 11am that day and the food would not be ready until 1am or later. I called Krieg in an absolute panic and he took over, recommended all the greatest hits and agreed to cater for me even though it was on a Saturday and he was booked back to back months in advance. Everyone raved about the food. It was a closed private event but we fed all the Veterans who came in to the Vet's bar and they (and everyone else) could not stop talking about the food. Kreig is not only a fantastic chef he is a fantastic human being and there are so few of those these days.
