I was visiting Keystone for a few days of skiing and I happened upon 9280 while walking through the village. Best location in Keystone village and very convenient. What a warm and inviting experience. I have been to many bars at many ski resorts and this is my favorite. I sat down at the bar and within 30 seconds, there was a tall glass of ice water in front of me. The bartender Scottie wanted to know what he can get for me, i asked for a minute and and within no time the second bartender Kristen wanted to know what she can get for me. These are the best bartenders i have ever had they were kind, patient, friendly, hospitable and inviting. I made sure to come back on my second day and got to meet yet another wonderful bartender- Alex. Same great service as Scottie and Kristen. They made the best Bloody Mary I ever had. All the employees there are wonderful from management, servers, bartenders to the busser. Best apres ski experience ever! This place is a must on your next ski trip to Keystone. We received great service despite sitting behind the beer dispenser at the bar, which hid us from the bar tender and it was hellishly busy around 4 pm during peak ski season. It was extremely crowded with lots of people from the slopes getting their drink on after a full day of exerting themselves. The bar tenders HUSTLE! We were able to split a french dip with a side of chili and it hit the spot after our day at the slopes. Come and enjoy camaraderie with fellow skiers and boarders. As soon as I sat down, we were informed that the kitchen was 45 minutes behind and they were out of fries, wings, and whipped cream. Yes, you heard that correctly, they ran out of fries at 2:30 on a Saturday. What's even crazier, if you read the other comments below, this has happened in the past (someone really needs to rethink they're ordering esp. on a holiday weekend when football is in the play-offs...hellooo???? you're a sports bar out of fries and wings??? boggles the mind that this happened once but to see that this has happened before is asinine). The food kinda sucked but the service was great and our table of 8 was well stocked with beer and water throughout the Green Bay and Cowboy game. The funniest part was when I ordered a beer and a club soda and it was combined into one glass! Our waitress was super-cool though even though the poor thing was being run ragged as she had so many tables. Would definitely come back for drinks only based on location and service. read more

This place has your typical sports-bar feel, but considering the other options in the Resort, it's very highly rated. While it is open-seating, we were able to grab a table when we walked in at around 6 and were served promptly. All the appetizers and entrees are overpriced, but that can be expected in Keystone. The French Dip I ordered was pretty good, and the waffle fries were excellent. My friend ordered the chicken tacos and said that they were delicious. This is definitely a great place to come after a long day on the slopes. read more

"Perfect after ski hangout!" 9280 has that great welcoming vibe of people laughing and enjoying themselves at the bar and at tables, wearing their ski/snowboard clothes from coming off the slopes. They seem to leave their door open a lot with that "come on in" feel. It's fun, great drinks, specials, and food after a long day of skiing or boarding. Mountain Huckleberry mojitos?! Yeah that's right mountain Huckleberries. Definitely not something I find in Texas. Very refreshing. It's like Christmas in a glass. Bloody Mary with bacon and pepper vodka! Safe to say they have a little of everything. Oh did I mention the nachos? Holy crap how could I forgot. After burning a thousand calories skiing down the mountain you might as well eat a mountain of nachos. You'll never finish it (even if you think you can). Biggest plate of nachos with quacamole on top. Needless to say check this place out if you just want to hang out and have some fun within the resort. read more

Great food! We had the buffalo wings and roast beef and cheddar sandwich. Got a Tommyknocker Maple Nut beer. Everything was good and reasonably priced for a ski resort lunch. Our waitress Nas was great. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. What ever you do please avoid this place. I've had better service at a McDonald's at 11 pm. They forgot 1/3 of our 13 party's order and never gave them food. Really you can't believe how bad it was. Oh btw the tacos taste like they were made by McDonald's. Poor food, poor service. Avoid. read more

Not good. The only reason for the second star is the free soda I got and the waiter wasn't too bad. Open seating. Came here with my husband and daughter. I fully expect higher prices being in the mountains and on a resort, but I also expect slightly better food on resorts. Kiddo got the grilled cheese; 8.50 for a kids meal. Ouch. Which came with potato chips (she's still too small for chips) and no option to sub. The worst part of that meal was the cheese wasn't melted. Shredded cheddar fell out, and the slices of cheese were also still solid. My club was ok, nothing special, but for around $14 I would have hoped for French fries instead of Lays kettle cooked chips. But fries were a $3 up charge I didn't want to splurge on. Hubby got the French dip. Meat was lukewarm, cheese wasn't melted, and it was overall bland. Had this been a $20 meal I might not have been so frustrated, but for $45 you expect just a little more. read more

Food is horrible and overpriced. Menu is small. The happy hour is the only good thing about this place. Skip the food unless you have the nachos, expensive but the best bang for the buck. I don't know about the drinks here but we ate here for dinner and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. Ordered the wings and it was hard and tough as my shoe. It seemed as if the wings were made a few days ago, and then put back in the frier. Completely inedible, only managed to stomach 3 out of 10 wings. They totally messed up one of the orders (put the wrong meat on one of the wraps) and couldn't even get the salad dressing right on the salad. One good note was our waitress was very nice and did a good job, but I think the cook was either completely incompetent or mentally absent or possibly so few people ever eat here that they just serve leftovers. Seemed like a cool place with a simple bar menu and definitely popular by looks of the full tables. We asked what the favorites were and ordered them to stick with the staples. Nachos on the app menu with shredded chicken $23. Thought it would have been impressively layered with mounds of chicken and other things like cheese and beans etc. not sure how this could be the house favorite because after a few of us took a few piles off the top, what we had a was a bare pile of nachos. What seemed like an entire bag. After sharing our disappointment they offered to give more chicken and discount it but again if it's your help use specialty. Layer the goods throughout the entire heaping pile of nachos. Not just a few scoops of stuff on top. Wings were good. Turkey club was delicious. Be careful of if the nachos and the ringer of a price. 9280 has an awesome location, perfect for meeting up at the end of the day for happy hour and appetizers. Sadly, the food is meh. My party had a pizza which was cold, soggy stuffed mushrooms, and underwhelming chicken sandwich and warm beer. On the good side, our server was apologetic and gracious and so eager to make us happy. He was great and I felt sheepish because he was the bearer of bad news and not the cause. Poor guy! read more

Service was just OK, it was busy he was probably stressed as there was only one other gal serving, or fries came before our waters - prime dip sandwich was gross, waffle fries delicious, Bloody Mary was not worth $8 but it was tasty, manager was in her own world clearly (putting it nicely) friends got the little Italian (don't quote the name) they enjoyed it. Probably won't go back for food but maybe drinks at the bar. It's a tap house but they don't have beer pitchers?! I don't know what's up with that?! We stopped in after some tubing on the mountain and we're just looking for some quick grub. The service was quick and friendly, the food was very basic, but everything was made correctly and definitely hit the spot. We dug in on some wings (60 cent wings on Wed), garlic and parm waffle fries, and a variety of sandwiches. We all left happy, and this place had a nice selection of drinks as well if you are looking for something to warm you up or something cold on draft. read more

The "Dirty Snowplow" coffee cocktail I got here was AWFUL. It tasted like cough syrup and did not come with the cookie crumble topping that was promised on the menu. Extremely overpriced, with food that is worth about 25% of what you get. There is a subway across highway 6, and to the left. $6 12" subs every day, there. I only went here because my food card was only good here. I wasn't able to check the amount prior to purchasing, and it had a few cents left. Let's start with the poor service from Paul. When he first came to the table he tossed menus at us and walked away. When he finally returned to take our order he lacked personality. As for the food it was OK bar food, at best. My husband liked the loaded bowl of chili, but my broccoli cheese soup was warm not hot. We're from Costa Rica and we are visiting Keystone with my family. The staff here would not serve us alcohol because we didn't have our passports. We were carrying our Cédulas that have our date of birth. If you're a foreigner I suggest you eat elsewhere where the staff is friendlier and a little more worldly. This place is close to the mouintain and serves beer, so naturally it accrues volumes of post ski/snowboarders. I give my one star rating based on food, not beer (of which they had a decent selection). The salads are sub par. The veggie wrap left much to be desired. The turkey sub was good. Great spot right in the heart of the Village. Has a good amount of outdoor seating, plenty of beer to choose from and a pretty nice menu. I've had the nachos several times and would recommend them. They are HUGE so if it's only 2-3 people, get the smaller size. read more
