    Do not contact this company for AC tune-ups! This company was a disaster to work with. We contacted…read morethem to send out someone for an AC tune-up and they sent someone for air duct cleaning? The guy that showed up for the air duct cleaning service was just as confused as to why this was even scheduled in the first place. That should have been the first red flag but unfortunately, we reached out again to try to schedule the correct service (AC tune-up). The scheduler confirmed they would change what was on the scheduling request but once the confirmation email was sent, the air duct cleaning was STILL ON THERE!! We had to contact them for a third time to clarify that we ONLY need AC tune-up service. Finally, an HVAC tech came to the house and spent a few hours conducting an "AC tune-up" service. At the end of the service, he noted that we needed refrigerant and put new refrigerant in. In passing, he noted that the capacitor "might" need to be fixed but said that we are all set with only having refrigerant and left. Fast forward a week later and the entire AC unit breaks down. The temperature inside is hotter than it is outside, and the AC is not working. We contacted another company, as we couldn't trust "Green Clean NC" since they obviously didn't conduct an AC tune-up correctly, otherwise this would have been caught ahead of time instead of it breaking during the hottest week in April (90+ degree days). We had the new company's tech come out same day (which included a hefty emergency price) and he found very quickly that we needed a new compressor and a new capacitor. My question is, how did the Green Clean NC AC tech not find this issue? So, we contacted Green Clean NC and tried to speak with a manager. Instead, they made us talk to the tech that did the work in the first place and the conversation didn't go anywhere. The tech did not do his job correctly and we are requesting a full refund as now we are suffering with NO AC in 90-degree weather. Very disappointed.

    I'm an operations manager for a property management company and this company was picked out by a…read morehome owner that we managed as they are "Family Owned". I called them to find out the details for duct cleaning and was quoted $549 with $50 off and that included ducts and dryer vent. I immediately emailed the owner with the details and she authorized the work for that estimate. Now, they claim they've sent an invoice FOUR times, (all we show is a W9) and the price is said to be over $800! That was not authorized. I keep very detailed notes and take my job seriously, but "Walter" the senior manager or owner, stated that basically they were a huge company and just didn't like working with property management companies, etc..for having to "track down payments". I explained the process and date of payment, when he took the job. He was eager at the time. He also stated that he loves the government jobs they get, because those are big payers. I recorded the call if needed, so don't try to argue you didn't say and act the way you just did. Oh, and when I was outraged at his behavior and mentioned that I might leave a review, he stopped and said, "Are you threatening me". Is that customer service? Never again.
