Dr Joseph and his staff are amazing, very caring and professional. Came in with my cat who ended up needing surgery and he was well taken care of. He was hospitalized for 3 days and We received multiple calls with updates directly from him and other staff. It was our first time there and definitely coming back, very much recommended. All the staff was amazing, but I want to name some of the staff that really stood out, Dr Joseph, Melissa, Arly, Rose and really want to thank Dr Christianson, who was leaving for the night but did not hesitate to stop and answer our questions and concerns, truly shows how much she cares. I would not recommend the grooming services at this veterinary office. I booked grooming after hearing their advertisement that it was performed by vet techs, which made me feel comfortable. I paid a $25 deposit, provided vaccination records, and dropped my dog off the next day. At pickup, my brother was charged $67 and told the service had been "discounted" by $35 due to a premium upgrade that I never requested or approved. When I later called, I was told the original total was $117 because of this upgrade. No one could explain why it was done, and despite requesting a call back from the groomer, I never heard back. More importantly, my dog was returned in distress. He was crying, pawing at his face, and could not open his eyes. My brother immediately brought him back inside. Instead of addressing the issue, staff attempted to charge $167 just to examine him and rinse his eyes--even though this happened immediately after grooming. We were then told the groomer was a third party and that the clinic was not responsible, despite the service being advertised under their business. It took over an hour of back-and-forth before the vet finally waived the fees and provided eye drops. During that time, my dog was still in discomfort and, to my knowledge, had not been treated. I've included a photo from the following morning (after some improvement), where he still could not properly open his eyes. Since then, my dog has developed additional skin irritation and hot spots. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience with poor communication and no accountability. I would strongly caution others before using their grooming services. read more

Then after 4 hours they said they were going to examine him. After asking why they hadn't already examined him the tech was very rude, had no care that they never finished the service I requested. Amazing vet care! I can't thank Dr. Joseph enough for helping my dog with extracting a few bad teeth and great dental cleaning. Before finding this great place, another vet wanted to charge for an extra procedure costing over 2K that this place confirmed was not needed for my dog's care. I contacted my friend who works in the industry for a recommendation of the best vet to go to and she told me to take my dog to 911 Care. It was the best decision. This whole experience was filled with humanity, sincerity, professionalism, and ultimately, relief. Our cat was sick. I was worried about sitting in a waiting room for hours because that has happened elsewhere to me and I thought that was the norm. Not so! We were seen almost immediately and the process of speaking to techs and the doctor was also efficient while being caring and respectful of our concerns. I warned them that our cat was mean and aggressive--they proved to also be adept at managing that situation. I was totally impressed, as our original vet in Diamond Bar had outright refused to examine this cat twice before (a few years ago). The care during the diagnostic processes was excellent. We asked to see him at one point and they brought our little angry sedated boy into the room for us to love on him before they did more testing. The clinical staff we interacted with were *a-freaking-mazing*. They weren't scared of handling our angry boy-- in fact, they were just as endeared to him as we are. Besides the exceptional care, the pricing was surprisingly good and fair. We had taken our other cat to Cal City Vet just two weeks prior, where x-rays were well over $300, while here at 911 Vet Care, the price for the exact same thing was $250. And it's an emergency room! I am flabbergasted that an ER for pets has way better pricing than a normal vet office, AND you don't have to wait weeks to get in to have your pet examined. I had an emergency and took my dog to her usual veterinary hospital and they turned her away due to them being busy. 911 vet took my dog in without a problem and was so helpful Andrea said it was no problem to see her and took my info over the phone and said they are awaiting for my dog to arrive. The doctor joseph and assistant Q took amazing care of my dog. It was the fastest best experience we ever encountered. The place is spotless and doesn't smell like animals at all. I found the front office staff pleasant and helpful. The vet tech who helped us was awesome. I had an appointment for a rabies vaccine, a bordetella nasal and to pull titers for the other core vaccines. I'm not a fan of having my dog taken into the back out of sight, because you have no idea what they're doing. Approaching two hours later I ended up asking how much longer. Finally I got to see the vet. I was a bit surprised that he wanted me to do annual vaccinations on my dog, despite the fact that AAHA guidelines for core vaccines say once every three years. This clinic is supposed to be AAHA recognized. Why doesn't the vet know the standard core vaccine schedule? He then switched to wanting to know why my dog was intact. We had an interesting conversation, which didn't look like the vet was up on the current science of increased cancer risk, increased risk of orthopedic issues and potential behavioral issues. Seems like it was just a box he wanted to check off. A couple of days later I got an email with the titer results - showing continuing immunity to Distemper and Parvo. The vet called and tried to convince me that annual vaccination was still needed. I was giving this clinic a try and I won't be back. read more

Very unprofessional experience, starting with the front desk staff. I brought my dog in for an emergency euthanasia, which was already an incredibly emotional situation. I was charged $600 just for her to be taken to the back. Shortly after, a male staff member came out to explain what they had done, but his behavior immediately felt uncomfortable. After waiting around 40 minutes, we were finally called into a room. While waiting, that same staff member came in again saying he needed to "make sure the X-rays were up." The veterinarian later confirmed that we did, in fact, need to put our dog down. Unfortunately, after that, the same staff member repeatedly came back into the room--this time to go over pricing and to ask my sister and me personal questions about our ages. His behavior felt inappropriate and made us extremely uncomfortable. If you are saying goodbye to your pet, the last thing you should experience is someone making you feel awkward, flirted with, or disrespected. I didn't even feel comfortable spending my final moments with my dog because he would not leave the room and was loudly yawning while we were trying to say goodbye. It felt invasive and completely lacking in empathy. To make matters worse, when it was time to take my dog out after she was put down, he did not appear to be holding her securely and nearly dropped her. Lastly, I was disappointed to see a billboard on the property advertising pugs for sale. As a veterinary clinic, I would expect higher standards and not the promotion of backyard breeding. read more

My cat passed away within 24 hours of being treated here and I believe he would have healed from his fever and still be alive if we did not attend this facility. read more

I was searching for a new groomer since my pet is difficult at times and i mean to tell you. KAREN did her thang. My pet Speed started hating to get groomed after being nicked so now he is reactive at times. We dropped him off around 12ish and he was done within like 2hrs. I was soo impressed with her service and how fast she got him out. He was matted so i was very shocked at the outcome. I will forever be grateful for the doctor, nurses, and staff that took care of my dog. I was able to come in same day. I brought my dog in at 6PM and picked him up at 11PM That same day. We drove down to an LA-area shelter to pick up a foster pup up, only to learn that he had kennel cough and the shelter wouldn't be providing antibiotics! So, what do you do?! Our queen was pregnant and two of the kittens didn't make it, I had a terrible feeling and rushed her and the surviving kitten to the this veterinary hospital, mom was having a hard time getting milk to come out, I needed guidance on how to properly care for the kitten while helping the mom be a mom. Unfortunately when I checked on the kitten and mom, I realized the kitten had passed and staff had just walked in the exam room. I broke right there. The staff was caring and took the baby when I handed it over, I don't know if they tried to revive her, but they came back a while later and gave me the bad news. I don't remember much of the rest, I remember saying I wanted the remains, they offered to cremate the others with her, they checked up on the mom and I paid the bill after. On the way home I was sad because I wanted to ask for an ink print of the kittens paws, but didn't think of it till too late. I could have called but I was grieving and couldn't call. Our queen had her own grieving and thankfully we are caring for kittens that are a couple months older than what she just gave birth to so she has been able to be a mom and foster the other kittens and she is happier. I had recently lost my brother and know what to expect when receiving the remains back. 911 Vet Care went above and beyond. There was no extra charges, no upgrades, just one simple fee. What I received was the little kittens thoughtfully cared for and presented to me with so much thought surrounding the moment. I expected a cardboard box, but they made me feel like they knew me personally, even though I had never walked into the place before. What they did was that you would do for someone you truly love and want to help with their grieving. They were in a small wooden box, they cast their paw prints for me, and gave me 'forget me nots' to plant. Every single thing was so thoughtful and so tender I cried and just felt so honored. Their sorrow for my loss was so heartfelt that I'm sharing this with you. I don't know if they do this for all cremations, I hope they do, because it felt so personal. They didn't hug me or give me long condolences; they simply offered the box wrapped up and gave a small condolence. I might have walked out too fast so I didn't cry in front of people but I was completely taken back by the attention to the remains. How to put into the right words the overwhelming love and care I felt they had given me, the way I felt they truly shared in my sorrow and how they made an effort to show they cared about my littles too... all in the way they wrapped the babies and the few seconds to hand them over. Thank you so much to the staff and for whoever wrapped the little ones and for putting so much thought into the gesture. I'm sorry if when I took the package I rushed off, but I did see every single detail in the second you stretched out your hands with the remains in them. I couldn't in that moment tell you what it meant to me to see the effort and detail, when I have had to receive remains of people I love with less personal sorrow. We took our dog hear for the last several years because emergencies always happen after hours outside of her regular vet. They made a really nice setting for us for her euthanasia and made sure we had what we need and that we had enough time with her. They were serious and sympathetic. We took in our 3 year old yorkie who suddenly developed pancreatitis, if we didn't take him in when we did he wouldn't have been with us today. Our pup has been hospitalized with this vet since 9/6 and they have done everything they can to cure him. They have updated us so much which shows us how much they care. Each day we have went to go visit our puppy he has looked so much more happy then the first day. We are so thankful we get to bring him home! We 100/10 recommend this vet for any and everything your dog may need. Never had a worry that they weren't going to take care of him. I chose to bring my cat because they are open until 10pm. Long story short My cat had eaten something I thought was going to make her sick or get stuck in the intestines. She had puked a couple of times during the week what I thought were caused because of hairballs. Something about the last time worried me since it was a lot and she hadn't pooped. So I decided to get her checked out. Overall the staff was very nice and helpful. The place is kept tidy and clean. They ended up doing X-rays so overall we were there 2 hours. They said her intestines were fine and maybe it was just a hairball so he initially only prescribed 1 med. My only issue was that when I went to pay I feel like maybe they were trying to upcharge with medications that she didn't really need but it was no big deal since I was able to decline them. In total we paid $295 which included office visit fee, x-ray and 2 meds so not terrible. They offer veteran discount so that's a plus. And my cat is fine she ended up puking up what she ate the following morning without even having taken the meds read more

They were able to fit me in for an emergency visit due to an ill dog. My regular vet was booked out for 2 weeks, as the good ones are these days. They were super busy so I was grateful they fit us in. 1 X-ray and bloodwork and diagnosis was pancreatitis. They kept him overnight, lots of fluids, steroids, IV fluids, etc. Sent me home with him the next day with 4 kinds of stomach/anti nausea medication. No pain meds. No call updating me regarding his condition as promised that evening or the next day. I arrived to pick him up as instructed and they have not administered the final medication and rushed to do it. I'm not sure their rushed diagnosis was accurate given another post on nearly the same day of the identical diagnosis. I wished the vet recommended an ultrasound which would have been a better diagnostic method. I spent very little time with the vet, 2 minutes at most. His bloodwork was only slightly over the normal range on the high side. Turns out it wasn't the main problem as he went into renal failure 3 days later likely brought on by the mast cell tumor cancer he's been fighting. He was in a great deal of discomfort and could have use some pain medication. Poor communication Inaccuracy calculation of my bill Disorganized Lack personal service Lack of an accurate diagnosis Lack of appropriate treatment plan Perhaps he had pancreatitis but there was a more primary problem they missed entirely. It was a death sentence. While he could not have been saved, he would have suffered less and for a shorter period had they accurately diagnosed the correct, primary condition. I probably would not use them again and would drive to the 24/7 emergency vet in Woodland Hills. read more

Thank you DOCTOR CYROG!!!!! FOR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I am extremely disappointed with the lack of urgency and professionalism at this clinic. My dog has been coming here for shots and grooming for years, but when we had a real emergency, we were met with nothing but disrespect and negligence. We called ahead to inform them it was an emergency and were prepared to pay the emergency fee. However, after they took my dog in, we were told he would receive blood work--only to find out an hour later that he had been sitting in the back, unattended, simply because the deposit hadn't been charged. In a critical situation, every minute matters, and their failure to act immediately could have cost my dog his life. This experience was beyond unacceptable. A veterinary clinic should prioritize the well-being of animals, not administrative delays. I would not trust them with my pet's care again. read more
