My sister and I went for gel manicures for her birthday, and we made an appointment ahead of time (which ended up being really helpful since there were about 10 people waiting when we arrived). Since we had an appointment, we got seated right away. I showed my nail tech my inspiration photo on my phone, and she got started pretty quickly. She was nice, but the whole service felt pretty rushed. At times she didn't even let the UV gel finish curing before asking me to take my hand out so she could move on to the next coat. I also added chrome for an extra $15, and while she did take time to make sure it covered most of the nails, I noticed later there were still some missed spots. The overall application also felt a bit uneven, and the gel looked really thick (almost more like a builder gel than a standard gel manicure). Looking at my nails from the side, the thickness seems more noticeable than previous times that I've had them done here. I'm not sure if it was from extra layers or how the gel was applied, but it didn't feel as clean as past visits. Overall, it was okay for the price and convenience, but I definitely left feeling like the attention to detail wasn't quite there this time.

Shaping wise, not even and I still have bits of cuticle stuck on my nail - even though I paid extra to have them removed... The overall vibe of the salon is a little older and aged. It all came out wonderfully, and looks even better in person. Because they are so detail oriented and careful, this appointment will take a long time. I think we were there for nearly 3.5 hours in total, so schedule your time appropriately. It's not cheap, but the nails are very sturdy and good quality.

All their nail products is made in Japan and I love all their colors you can choose. And Nicole was my nail tech and she did such a good job. My finger is really bad and I have a lot of dead skins. Nicole was really taking her time to clean all my cuticle area and I was amazed how nice my nails was afterward. I didn't do any crazy style or stuff but I wanted to do something simple this time since I was going to an interview. But I will be back for sure the coming week and do some more design this time.
