We had a great experience with 858 Appliance fixing our washing machine. Our service technician, Artem, was prompt, explained everything thoroughly, and fixed it all quickly! Would recommend them if you need washing machine help. read more

They are great! I called when the opened and they were able to give me a same day appt! The technician, Nick, came the the beginning of my window. He was very helpful and empathetic. He stated he would have to check on parts, if it's repairable and that they would be in contact. Edward then called that same day and explained the situation with my fridge. It was basically a lemon (only 2 years old) and would not be repairable. Even though they couldn't do the repairs, Edward was very helpful with explaining next steps with the warranty company and sent the quote so I could file the claim the same day. Edward was also extremely empathetic and made me with he wanted to help. I will definitely keep their number for any other appliance issues! read more

858 is our "go to" appliance repair service for both our home and rentals. Edward the owner is so responsive when we have issues...Usually same day service from his team. We recently had a freezer leaking water and Nick arrived within an hour of our call. He diagnosed the problem as a frozen drain line and had it fixed quickly. He was very professional and explained to us the problem and options for the repairs versus having to replace the refrigerator. Highly recommend 858 Appliance! read more

I'm a property manager and have used this company for years. They have worked on my appliance's and my mom at her house. They fixed appliances at so many rentals I manage that I have lost count. They are always on time, professional and get the appliances fixed ASAP! I can't stress how important this is to my business! Thanks for always being there when I need you!! read more

I had an issue with my dishwasher not drying the dishes. I'm pretty handy and tried to fix it myself but couldn't figure it out, so I called 858Appliance. They came out quickly, diagnosed and fixed it. Great and very professional service! read more

very professional and honest, with no pressure to get the work done. The issue was the dryer machine.

I have used this company twice now. Once to fix my washing machine and Once to fix the dryer. Both times, the technician was on time, very polite, and efficient. My washer and dryer are 20 years old and they still work now. Their prices are good and they are very knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them in the future. They are great. read more

When you find THE guy, you stick with THE guy and Edward is THE guy! I have used him for years. I have never had a bad experience. Edward especially is like a maven with his knowledge and he is generous with his experience and advice. Even when it doesn't make him money. More often than not I have reached out when I was in a pinch and he was always so prompt in his reply and quick to dispatch a team member. Other times I just called him for advice. He has helped with washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, oh and even a dryer. Totally reasonable prices. Every issue I have needed him to resolve he helped me resolve in the best fix or repair fashion. His services are excellent. He is my absolute go to and you will be happy if he is yours too. He runs his business like an old family business. Rare these days. read more

Edward is the owner, he is the one that takes the phone calls. He is honest and a pleasure to speak with. We had fun talking about Japan. He assigned Constantine to me who did a great job repairing my GE fridge that was leaking. I have Constantine coming back tomorrow to fix a small Uline fridge, those parts finally came in from the manufacturer. Thank you! read more

My Kenmore Elite gas dryer would run, but wouldn't heat. I consulted YouTube University for things to check out. A problem with YouTube appliance repair videos however is that you have to get lucky to find one that has the same/similar make and model as yours; YouTube correctly predicted that the problem was probably one of the thermal or breaker switches, however I couldn't find a video to show me their location. So, I made a call to 858Appliance. My first inclination was to call one of the "big guys," but I've felt ripped off by them in the past. 858 seemed to have good Yelp scores, so I gave them the nod. The scheduler said he could get someone out right away, but recommended waiting a day for his Dryer expert. Since it wasn't an emergency, I agreed and Igor came out, right on time, the next day. He took one look at the dryer, removed a small circular side panel, reached in and toggled a switch, and voila!, dryer worked. He was only going to charge me the (very reasonable) $39 visit fee, but I know these things don't "fix themselves," therefore I asked him if he could go ahead and replace the switch, so I wouldn't have to call him back if it tripped again. It was a big job, as he had to remove the dryer drum, but clearly Igor's done this a bunch of times, and so it went fast. Igor was even nice enough to let me interrupt him part way through, so I could vacuum out all the dryer lint that escaped into the dryer housing. And in the end, it was all done for what I consider a very, very reasonable price. Finally, Igor left me with good advice for maintaining my dryer, and washer; from him arriving and leaving, I think it was done within an hour. An unexpected pleasant experience, something that is not usually associated with appliance repair! I definitely recommend 858Appliance. read more

I'm compelled to write a review after dealing with this company. Long story short... My gas dryer stopped producing heat, but was turning on and was spinning. I called to make an appointment with Ed. He was very friendly and scheduled me an appointment in a few days. During my appointment conversation, he advised me that there will be a $39 service call fee. When the repairman named K came in the scheduled window time, he took my dryer apart. Initially, he told me $220 out the door for the repair. A few minutes later he came back and told me that it would be more expensive and it's not worth fixing because it will break in the future. He told he didn't want me to waste my money and it would be cheaper in the long run to buy a new dryer. On top of that, he didn't even charge me the $39 service call. They didn't get any business from me today, but they will in the future if/when one of my appliances needs repairs. I love to see an honest company with honest people like this one! read more

HORRIBLE customer service! The owner instructed me they would arrive today between 1pm-4pm. It is now 4pm and they never showed up and I have to leave. I wasted my entire day and my only day off this week waiting at my apartment for them. The owner did not apologize and was extremely rude and hostile. Said it wasn't his fault that the technician didn't show up and he didn't care he wasted my entire day off. How do you own a company with horrible customer service and people skills like that?! Unbelievable! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company and the service they provided. Our refrigerator stopped cooling and after calling them in the morning they were able to come out and fix it the same day. Our technician, Nick, was very professional and helpful. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explain to us in detail not only why our refrigerator wasn't cooling but provided us with the information needed to keep it from happening again. The owner even called later that afternoon after the repair was finished to make sure everything went well. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We will now be calling them for any and all appliance repairs in the future and are extremely thankful to have found such a professional and reliable company we can trust! read more

Agent K was awesome, and the entire experience was great! I called in for an appointment request after seeing their reviews on Yelp. One of our refrigerators stopped cooling pretty suddenly, and needed to diagnose to see the best course of action. Within an hour, Agent K was onsite to troubleshoot and guide us to resolution. Really appreciate the help, would not hesitate to recommend! read more

I called and made an appointment for the next day. They arrived on time and assessed the problem with my washing machine. The technician explained that for the price of the replacement parts and repair and the age of the machine it made more sense to purchase a new one. He even suggested a special that was going on at Home Depo for a similar machine. I appreciated his honesty knowledge and good information. read more

Called dispatch and they came right out. Dispatcher was great. The repair man was a world class Ahole. He was a Russian I think. Very rude but I didn't kick him out cause I needed my fridge fixed. I left the area and let my wife deal with him. Again a real asshole read more

Simply amazing! My dryer started to make a horrible noise. Called 858 and the owner Eddie got back to me within 5mins and had a repair guy out to my house the next day and it was Memorial Day weekend. The repair man K was amazing. He figured out the problem and he tried to order the part but due this Covid-19 the part was out of stock. So he came back a few days later and tore it apart and repaired it himself. He even gave me a guaranteed 30day warranty on his work. This company is amazing and we got quoted a price for repairs but since the part wasn't in stock, K repaired it and charged me only half the cost of anything! If you guys need anything please give them a call! Super professional and friendly! read more

Courteous, on time and a very knowledgeable technician (Kiril). He did the diagnosis and repair on the spot (no power to my wall oven). All done in less than 30 minutes and - no kidding - for less than 10% of what a new oven would have cost. Saved me a TON of money! I would give them ten stars if I could. read more

Do not get fooled by their low dispatch fee. They wasted my time for 1 week on changing the switch of the microwave oven and finally asked me for $463 which I obviously rejected. read more

My fridge went kaput due to power shortage and Edward knew immediately what could be wrong and gave me pricings on all scenarios. Was able to get a guy out the next guy and my fridge was fixed in a timely manner!!! Thanks for your help and being fastidious!!! read more

I requested a quote for the repair of my LG front load washer. The drum stopped spinning. I got a hold of a technician on the phone to further explain the situation and he advised me that it's not worth repairing since it would be a major overhaul. I love businesses that are very honest. If I ever need repairs in the future I will definitely reach out to 858Appliance. read more

First off I did not actually use this repair service. The reason for this is that Edward is a super honest person who advised me to not fix my broken down dishwasher. Who does that? Only honest people, and for that reason he deserves a five star review and earns consideration for any future business from me. He ought to strongly earn your consideration for business as well. read more

858Appliance was awesome. My dryer broke and the places my Home Warranty company wanted to set me up with had horrible reviews and were showing a 10 to 14 day wait, to get them to even come out and look at it. 858 got me in the next day and the technician, Gor, was awesome! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anybody else ! read more

Do not get ripped off by this company! Go, leave now, and find a more reputable business. Trust me...I am doing you a favor. I had an ice machine that stopped working. I got sucked in by the $39 blah, blah, blah. That number never came into the discussion. I was not home but my girlfriend was. She said, A big, muscular, "Russian" guy came. He diagnosed the problem but she couldn't understand what he was saying. Yes, he could fix it for $275 ($99 parts and $176 labor). He was there 20 minutes max. He did take $20 off for some reason but she felt intimidated by him so she didn't say no. She emailed me, say no, but I didn't see it because I was driving. Long story short. Avoid them like the plague. They are horrible! read more

I called because my mom's fridge is making a weird smell. After explaining everything to the gentleman on the phone he said "well I don't want to charge you for nothing" and proceeded to explain what was most likely going on with our fridge. Had terrible experience with another company trying to fix my refrigerator for 3 weeks!!! I finally got sick of getting runaround and called 858 appliance. Edward was very professional and courteous. He listened very patiently to my story and sent technician to help me the same day. What a different experience all around and the craziest part that they fixed my refrigerator the same day!!! I wish I called them first and didn't waist my time. Very happy with entire experience and how efficient and professional everyone was. read more

We paid $350 for a new pump for our washer. There was an error code before the repair, the same code showed after the repair. Arthur, the technician, claims he didn't know there was an error code at all. Said he would send pictures of the old pump and never did. He's much more worried about covering his ass than actually fixing the washer. It's been over a week and we still don't have a working washer. He said he'd come today to look at it again. He never called, no messages. Then he lied and said he did leave a message. This guy is a liar and a crook. read more
