I find it completely unprofessional on how our order was handled. Our company had a event Saturday 10/26/19 from 11am-3pm. We ordered five 4ft tall 10" thick foam letters that where suppose to be weighted, painted red, and delivered in full at 8:30am. Should be simple for a company that specializes in making foam letters. We received a partial delivery at 12:45, and the rest of the materials delivered 45min later due to the delivery guy having to make two trips to deliver all materials. By the time he came back from the second trip and everything set up there was only one hour left of the event. When the materials where delivered we noticed several dents, chips in the foam, and painting impurities. We are greatly dissatisfied in the materials and even more so with the service and delivery of our order. read more

I am very disappointed in this business for not being straightforward with me. They don't make signs in house they outsource to local vendors and play middle man collecting money.. I called them on Monday for an estimate and they promised to get it to me by the end of the day. I didn't get it and called them Tueaday and followed up with them (something they should have done). They didn't have it so they said Wednesday they will 100% have an estimate for me. Sure enough they didn't have it Wednesday either so I called them Thursday. After wasting my entire week waiting on them, they sent me an email stating they can't give me an estimate because the company they are outsourcing my sign to isn't getting back to them and referred me elsewhere. Very unprofessional and wasted my time. No matter what they write in their follow up response to my review be aware, they are a business and must say something to keep face and cover themselves. Have used them twice for our dental offices that are in the LA area. The first time the person we were working with seemed very lost and confused at times with what he was doing. Finally, they called and told me he was fired. After that things went smoother but they had to ship the product twice because the big wall photos bent and tore during shipping due to the type of material they suggested. The second time we used them the photos came out great and the material choices I was given were much better. Only problem is the special tape they send for you to mount the pictures with is not sticky at all and fell off the wall in front of our patient today. I was told these would stick like super glue and rip the paint off the walls it was so strong. Def not the case. Unfortunately, not good. read more

This place came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I called them and asked for a quote on certain size outdoor banner. I was in a bit of a rush for the banner so I expected the prices to be high but the quoted prices were even higher than I expected. But it was still good at this point, I was still thinking about submitting my graphics for the banner. The guys on the phone, sounded young : didn't get the name, told me to upload the graphics by the using their link. I told him that I was driving, because I was, and asked him if he can text me the link because I was driving and I cannot write and drive. He confirmed my phone number on their caller ID and told me he will text it right away... 10 minutes, no link on my phone. I was home by then so I called the store, the same guy picked up, so I just hung up the phone. I waited some more more, nothing on the phone. At this point, I decided to give up on the guy and...on the store. I would like to give the store the benefit of the doubt on this one. That's why I'm giving one star instead of 0. This is a service based business. The guy manning the phone must understand he is the lifeline for incoming business/potentially a big client. But if you kill that by which a new business relationship can be forged, such action will warrant a very poor rating. read more

I initially chose to work with 858 Graphics because of their stellar Yelp record - and was sorely disappointed. I realize that being the only 1 star review my experience may be in the minority, but feel compelled to warn others that this might be the experience you get as well. I was looking for a print shop to create a sample business card. I was concerned about some of the colors and fonts and wanted to see what I was in for before committing to 1000 business cards. Brad took my order and told me a sample could be done in 3 business days for $50. I sent him my print files while in the shop and was excited for my sample to come the following week. 2 weeks later I called Brad to follow up because I had heard nothing. He said he emailed me the previous week to get my credit card info (which I had offered while being in the shop and he declined) - and he realized he had sent it to the wrong email address. Sloppy considering 1) he had my correct email on the profile I created before I left, 2) I had EMAILED him previously and he could have simply responded to my email and 3) he didn't just misspell the email, he sent it to the completely wrong domain (I have a yahoo account and he emailed it to a gmail account) and 4) If he hadn't heard from me - why not call to follow up? Regardless I provided my payt info. Early the next week I get a message from Brad that their equipment has been down for 2 days and my sample will be delayed another week. Funny enough, he happens to process my payment right after leaving me this voice mail. I called him back and told him that I was disappointed it had been over 3 weeks to get a sample that should have taken 3 business days and that I wanted to cancel my order. He says he can't help me with my refund, he will have to forward it to the accounting department. To try and make a long story short enough to be tolerable, the accounting department was horrible. The woman Katie is simply a parrot that only knows how to say "I'm sorry, that's not part of our return policy" to simple requests like sending certified mail so a tracking number would be associated with a paper check (because apparently 'it's not their policy' to electronically credit my account in the same way they debited it). Thankfully, my check did arrive and I am now working with another local print shop who is creating my sample for half the price, and their machinery is on site, so none of this back and forth nonsense. Bottom line - if you have a simple, straightforward print job - use an affordable online provider i.e. vistaprint.com or printsteals.com. If you have a custom project like mine, don't waste your time. Find a print shop that cares about your project and is willing to make your experience an enjoyable one. read more

Ordered foam board print from them and they shipped to my home address instead of my work address this is even after calling to confirm. The package was huge so I had to rent a car to bring in to my office; not to mention I had to recycle the boxes and packaging. The actual print was less than ideal. There was a large spot of acetone or oil spot on our foam print and it was not centered. I have to go out and find a place that will trim the foam board. You can tell how good a business is by how they handle a problem. And 858 Graphics is as good as they get. I needed a large, 30" x 40", canvas print made from a digital picture I had taken. Due to a misunderstanding the canvas did not come out the way I expected. After explaining the situation to JulieAnn she printed three different possibilities for me to look at and then a new 30" x 40" canvas in just two days.
