Dog owners, please be aware. While walking our three dogs on standard 5-foot leashes, I politely asked this couple to go around us because we were training. They acknowledged me but continued walking toward us with their dog on a retractable leash. Their dog repeatedly pulled toward ours, and our Lab puppy slipped out of its collar and briefly sniffed their dog. There was no barking, growling, or biting. During the interaction, the man said, "I'm going to shoot your dog." When I asked why, he replied, "If your dog ever gets near my wife or my kid, I will shoot your dog." I understand that a loose dog can make someone uncomfortable, but I found it alarming that the immediate response was a threat to shoot my dog. Lived here a few months now, definitely not perfect but out of some of the other apartments we have lived at nearby, it is great. Unfortunately, it wasn't ready when we moved in which was frustrating but they fixed this issue for us. Moved here seven years ago. Since then I have seen five complete staff changes. The landscaping has suffered. Most of the bushes and trees have died and not been replaced. The beer service they sell you on when taking the tour is far less of a perk when it pours mostly foam and that is when it works at all. They blame it on charging issues with the tablets? Neighbors are mostly trashy without respect for the rules or the people around them. Many of which smoke indoors and out (cigarettes and other), park in unauthorized areas for long periods of time, blast loud music late at night, and other similar problems. The EV chargers are a total joke and might as well be non-existent. They are usually ICE'd by inconsiderate neighbors who leave their combustion cars parked there for days and days. Only 1 of 3 advertised chargers work, and it only pulls 5 kW (might as well be a level 1 outlet). The last remaining charger won't last long considering the state these residents leave it in (inability to wrap the chord up or even keep the charger handle off the ground). The parking in general is an absolute free for all. People park along the curb, in handicapped spots, in covered park that isn't assigned to them... it is the wild west. Management couldn't care less, none of these illegally parked cars or motorcycles are ever towed. The AC units are all mounted to the roof. These apartments are extremely loud with AC noise and traffic from Uptown Ave and HWY 36. The walls and floor rattle and vibrate from the ACs/heaters. Do not rent here. It is incredibly overpriced and non-enjoyable. Management will not respond to any problems you may have and you will be ignored. read more

Here's my updated review. I Still Love Living Here! I've been here 4 years. Here's my honest review and personal experience: *Property Manager is always onsite and dedicated. Easy to reach and resolves issues *Maintenance is thorough and AVAILABLE. They do their job well! *Grounds are always clean and manicured. Broken things get fixed and the site is well lit. * I feel safe here even at night *Location- Easy to get to Boulder & Denver *PERKS: Property offers gatherings and parties in the clubhouse, pool and gym .Also, these areas really do look like the pics on the website. It's kept in pristine condition and very well maintained. There are occasional events such as food truck (free tacos) and things like "sip & draw".. they are open to ideas and encourage residents to mingle. This is a very pet friendly place. Dogs are even welcome in the clubhouse and there are free dog treats there. Residents tend to be in their mid-late 20's to me.. who's uh.. 50ish! This is kid/family friendly and has a small playground in a courtyard. Although, in all my time I haven't seen a lot of families. The majority are young adults. When you renew your lease- they offer free carpet cleaning. They just hired a company who is fantastic! Even steamed cleaned my "hard wood" floors and my personal carpets along with the bedroom carpet. Free lightbulbs with install in your track lighting and bathroom fixtures. Read On For Some Suggestions & Truths: Lease: Really read it and ask if there are any additional "offers" or services added. I was automatically given an account for a locker that I didn't want. Basically, it's affordable and a great service, but I was unaware I signed up for it. In truth, I just kept signing pages b/c it's a long lease... It got corrected quickly! Garage/ Carports: These are an extra charge and worth every penny. Overtime, I've had both. However, don't assume a garage is attached or close to your unit. Be sure to ask about that availability near your unit. They will likely automatically check that- but it's good to be aware. Property Maintenance Fees: Ask about the additional fees to your rent. Currently this includes gas for the clubhouse, water, electricity, trash, water, sewer.. when I first moved in, it was only 30.00 added to my rent. However, with increase of everything over the years..this is currently about 60.00 and this amount fluctuates due to usages. (only by a few dollars, up or down) Noise: In my opinion it's low. I rarely hear anyone's tv's or music. My only complaint is that b/c I'm on the first floor I do hear the people above me- Mostly walking, vacuuming, dropping things etc.. but that is apartment life...Also..never hear any voices from other apartments. The outside hallway near me is different. I can hear everything if someone is talking in that area, very clearly. Leasing Office: The Property Manager, Beamer Wright is onsite all of the time. Very involved and speedy to return emails or calls. She has been here about as long as I have. So, she is committed to this place & her job. She personally ensures issues are listened to and resolved in a timely manner, if at all possible. She also facilitates all of the events. Maintenance: Have always been speedy, professional and friendly. It's easy to use the resident portal to put in a maintenance request. It is best to call if you have an urgent matter. I find the resident portal is very reliable and great for minor things like a leaky faucet or an ice maker that's acting up. Trash/Dumpsters: Dumpsters are scheduled regularly and there are two types of dumpsters at each dumpster site around the property. 1 for trash, 1 for cardboard. Only bummer is that they are loud.. but can't really help that. If you actually read this entire honest review.. congrats! This is not a luxury community. I've lived in apartments my whole life (including some of the communities that neighbor 8000 Uptown), and can honestly say this has been the worst experience so far. Moving in was a breeze, but we quickly learned how bad the neighbors can be. Because the construction is new and cheap, the walls are paper thin. Meaning, you will hear EVERY step your neighbors take, if they're not intentionally quiet. This is a nightmare if you're someone that works from home. Neighbors will routinely blast music/TV from their apartment, causing yours to rumble (again, due to the very cheap construction). Speaking of rumbling, this complex is located near the Event Center, which is a huge problem given how thin your walls are. I didn't think it would be such a problem, given that previously I lived even closer to it with no problems, but every time there is an event with some bass, you'll literally feel your apartment shake for hours, often times late at night. The neighbors are bad, but management is worse. During the pandemic, they sent out an e-mail threatening to VIOLATE resident leases if they're caught VAPING on their balcony. I don't partake, but I thought it was an awful look. Ever since Renee took over, after the managing corporation fired almost everyone, things have been awful. Landscaping doesn't get done and they shut down ALL amenities despite there being no state order. They simply don't want to increase cleaning costs. Moreover, when they do offer some of the promised amenities, like the beer, it's not free during COVID. They force you to buy food from a sponsoring food truck, when the beer is supposed to be free. Minor complaint, but it's indicative of the money-grabbing culture coming out of management. I love Broomfield, but this has left a horrible taste in my mouth. TL;DR: The apartments are flimsy, and you'll notice. Management isn't interested in pursuing a resident-first culture, they're just interested in your money. The rent is comparable to much nicer communities one street away. 8000 will reply to this with a generic "we care!! please contact us!!" message, but won't respond to any points specifically, or imply they're going to change. 8000 Uptown is beautiful. The employees are all lovely. This would be the best place I've ever lived except for noise. All upper levels have wood floors, you can hear everything. I have begged for help from the office and the are so nice but two months in have not solved the issue with my upstairs neighbor. We are kept up late & woken up extremely early. The dog barks nonstop. They walk around in heavy boots & play sports upstairs. I have two children with special needs who can't get sleep. It's a true shame. I've sent videos over and over. I've been in the office in tears. The problem is not handled. So if you need some peace, this is sadly not the place. I tried to solve this before leaving a review because everyone is so nice but nice doesn't mean much when you're living in constant noise from 5am to 11pm. It is a shame. The property is wonderful. Parking here is quite limited. My 17 year old son was visiting his brother to help him with building a computer and his car was towed. Mind you, he is a new driver and has never been exposed to apartment living and was completely unaware of assigned/designated parking. The only signage is in front of the sign entering the complex. The only way it is even noticeable is if you are consciously looking for it. The only way it is readable is if you park, partially blocking the main entry. There are also two signs above it, maybe for clarity, but neither of those signs were legible. As a common courtesy to those of us who are unaware of assigned/designated parking would be to at the very least post signs on each parking structure if not in each space. To the person whose space he was in and I am sure who reported it, we apologize for the inconvenience and would ask all residents to extend grace in the future. You have the right to do what you did, but maybe next time consider you may be inconvenienced for an hour or two, maybe the night while the person you reported may not eat for a week because they had to use every penny to retrieve their vehicle in order to continue to work possibly from paycheck to paycheck. I realize that is not your issue or problem, but just a little kindness, a little grace and some courtesy can go a long way to help bring a little unity in our divided world. The facilities seemed nice, and I looked at 16 different apartment complexes before choosing this one. Before this place, I had lived in 7 different apartment complexes in 4 different states, and I was able to stay in every single one of them with only minor issues. This was the first time I had issues that were serious enough to force me to pack up and leave. I hate moving. It sucks. It takes a lot of horrendous atmosphere to compel me to take the time to pack up all my stuff and move away. There was a couple who lived above me with an extremely loud child who would stomp and scream all day, and this included moments where even the parents would get fed up and yell back at the kid, startling me even though I had headphones on. "Kids will be kids" is no excuse. But hey, I didn't even get that courtesy. Instead, I was told by the people above me that I was in for a "rude awakening" and was given what-aboutisms about whoever lived above them. Then the door was slammed in my face! THEN, they complained about me! For not even having the chance to fully ask the question on whether they could please keep it down. I was being super polite the whole time, only to get yelled at by extremely rude neighbors. I seriously just try to keep to myself and stay out of everyone's hair. I hate getting into conflicts, and I tend to be way too passive most of the time. I've never had to deal with living next to people who preferred escalating the situation further when I just wanted to understand better, but apparently when kids are involved, it's carte blanche for the mother to throw all courtesy out the window and go full aggro. They were even taunting me about how management will do nothing about the noise they make. They knew they had the upper hand and that nothing was stopping them from being as loud as they wanted. Some other neighbors informed me that the yelling coming from the adults in that apartment made them think there was some sort of domestic situation going on, so they felt compelled to call the police, which they told me they've never done in any situation before. Another time a year prior I had several weeks of being unable to use the master bathroom because the concrete foundation was apparently laid wrong and had to be reinforced, so that was in pieces and I was dealing with plastic wrap on the doors and the standard "under construction" stuff. One time I came back to the apartment with the place reeking of synthetic chemicals. They had to drag in blower fans so I could create some airflow in the place and rid the place of that smell. This alone I would call a "minor annoyance" compared to the neighbors that lived above. They were 100% (not 99%) the reason for me leaving. But hey, the facilities are pretty nice, and I never had much trouble with the staff who worked there. Too bad about the kind of people that live there. I get the feeling I should expect a canned response that's something along the lines of "we strive to follow all the necessary guidelines and ensure that all the potential residents have to fill out the same application" or something of that nature. I don't expect to hear anything along the lines of "That's interesting, we'll have to look into that." Legally, I'm sure their hands are tied with what they're allowed to say. Basically: the walls here are thin, and you're rolling dice in hopes that you have decent neighbors, because there is little that will be done to manage difficult neighbors. read more

Recently we had a friend visiting who parked in a spot that was marked 'guest parking only 7pm-7am.' Despite being within the time frame he was towed and fined $300 bc he wasn't aware he needed a parking pass. The sign doesn't mention anything about needing a pass. My household alone pays a lot in additional fees to provide ourselves with parking. The goal is to avoid a five minute walk and/or being towed. The owners should stop profiting on charging tenants for parking/ ruining people's days with a tow. Despite dealing with the owners' mess, the staff works very hard to create social events for tenants and to keep the area clean and functional. All of their effort is much appreciated! read more

As everyone knows, every apartment has its pros and cons. I have lived there for almost 2 years. I loved the apartment features (especially the free beers on tap). The staff has been great. Ashley really makes sure my needs were met. I really liked Julie, the lady who works outside. I always make sure to say Hi to her. She really keeps her head down and works hard, shoveling the snow, picking up dog poops (when residents should be picking up their own) and does whatever to keep the place looking good. The location is great, it is right off Hwy 36 and a 15-20 min drive to Boulder. Its a walking distance to First Bank Centre and the shops at Arista. The Walnut Creek shops are only a few mins drive and I frequently go to the Super Target there. May you call this place "home" as I did. read more

I would definitely consider living elsewhere. There are numerous hidden costs and if you decide to move out.... might want to either talk to an attorney or save up some cash. Everything was pleasant until we decided to leave. Not very family friendly if you have kids either. The parking is expensive and dont bother having your guests park on the property. You risk having their vehicle towed. The "free beer" is anything BUT free... You get 32oz of 3 choices of craft beer between 3pm and 7pm. Like I said, lots of hidden costs within your rent. Our rent was $1907.00. After the parking, community service fees and fees to support that "free beer", almost $2200.00. Not worth it in the end. read more

I moved here in February 2017 with my fiancée and felt the previous management had been incredibly misleading and juvenile in the previous months. As of late October, this property has been taken over by a new management group (Inland Residential) and overnight they have made SWEEPING EFFORTS to turn things around, much to our satisfaction and happiness. Today, they even cleaned the grills, fixed the fireplaces, and are serving a Thanksgiving dinner to residents so I have to express my gratitude with how they are running things and changes have been implemented. I'll start by saying the property is great. Beautiful high ceiling apartments with tan wood flooring and balconies and the lighting day or night is welcoming. Some apartments have great views of the Rockies and you are just a walk away from the First Bank Center, Protos Pizza, and the Colorado Keghouse. The amenities include a pool, jacuzzi, gym, clubhouse with snacks and free 32 ounces of beer daily. I do wish there was a deli or grocery store that would be in walking distance, but the snacks make up greatly for this. The previous management (Avenue 5 and Dry Creek Valley LLC) hired people who never had experience in managing residences. If you are looking at other apartment properties, make sure you look to see if they are the management group, because you WILL regret signing with them. They did not understand privacy and randomly walked through apartments without letting you be there to see the strangers who would do evaluations (this happened on three different occasions). They were patronizing, snooty, and insulting. (Sarah and Amy were not crowd favorites). They held a raffle contest for free electronics such as a PlayStation and TV in exchange for only 5 Star yelp reviews, which inaccurately portrayed how the property was run. I especially do not miss being woken up by a lawnmower/leaf blower at 7 am or having to deal with the clubhouse coffee machine which was broken 90% of the time. The current management team is phenomenal. They treat you professionally and courteously and take the time to respond to your needs immediately without talking to you like a kindergartner. The number one complaint about this place had been the parking, and they are even revamping that as I write this. I do wish the doors would have been installed with peepholes, but otherwise the current management is making huge changes and there is much to enjoy here and look forward to. The only other modification I would suggest would be to include a public office station/room which includes a computer, printer, and fax machine. The last 7 months of my life here has had a number of hiccups and annoying experiences and I was just counting down the days to end my lease and move out. Now, I could not be happier with the property, location, and management team and I am 100% in love with 8000 Uptown. read more

I moved here a year ago now and at the time it was under different management. I will say that the Old 8000 management team (Avenue 5) was probably the worst management group to have to deal with. I found myself trying to avoid the club house area at all time with the previous office staff and management in place. I could write a small novel on how horrible the old management team of 8000 ran this place. However, it was taken over by new management this past October (Inland). The new management is the exact opposite of the old. This is now probably the best management team I have ever encountered. The staff here is very nice, helpful, polite, they get things done for ya. They hold nice events in the lovely club house we have here. Before around here the staff was very rude, things weren't as nice, and or simply didn't work. Now everything in the clubhouse is working and it's always decorated nice. They go out of their way here to make the residents feel appreciated. 8000 holds nice dinners and different events for their residents. There's a nice gym, heated pool/hot tub open year around, clean quality grills to use, fun things around the area to do, beer taps that you can use daily (free daily limit of beer from local breweries on tap), snack area in the club house. The apartments them selves are very nice. Nice cabinets and flooring throughout. One thing I really like is that the apartments are quiet and I never can hear my neighbors through the walls or floors. I would highly recommend living here based on the nice apartments, amenities, and the kind staff members that work here. read more

So if you have a balance over due over $100 and rent becomes due they charge you 10% on your RENT and the over due balance, not just the balance. So you could be on the hook for hundreds. When the new Management took over 8000 Uptown, we were skeptical. The old team didn't really care for people and the events seemed like cheap attempts to make a sales pitch. However, the current team is fantastic and has shown a lot of patience and empathy dealing with our situation(s) and has been willing to go the extra mile for us time and time again. The old management group would let things slide for months and didn't do much to make us feel welcome. The new team from Inland Residential has excellent community events, a fast and responsive maintenance team and people that care for their residents. If it weren't for my family getting a house, we would have re-upped our lease another year. I still have family living in these apartments and highly recommend them for anyone looking to stay in Broomfield. read more

We have lived at 8000 Uptown for about a year and a half, both with the previous management company/owners and the current, and overall it's a good place to live. The apartments are spacious, the amenities are great (pool, hot tub, workout center, multiple BBQ's around the property for residents, coffee and beer in the club house). There are monthly events for residents if you want to be social with the community. The property is pet friendly with lots of dogs. They do a swab of your dogs mouth and once in a blue moon may test dog poop that wasn't picked up and fine you $250 if it matches your dog. This doesn't happen very often though. The maintenance team is great and very friendly. The only negative is that when the management company changed over there have been multiple issues I have experienced with our bills and the staff at the front office have not been the most helpful. We continually receive incorrect bills and once were even fined for a billing mistake that the company made. I had to take it all the way up the chain to get the fines removed since it wasn't our fault. I now pay very close attention to each paper bill we get (still coming in the wrong name even though I have addressed this) and what is billed online so that I can reach out with corrections each time. read more

We have toured a lot of apartments in the area and my wife and I loved 8000 Uptown, so naturally we made this our choice. There really isn't any other apartments that offer the vast amount of resident appreciations in the area, we toured all of them. My wife and I couldn't be happier in our decision. Being right there on 36 getting to work in Boulder is super quick, or for a night out on town getting to LODO is super quick. The club houe is always stoked with local craft beer that is constantly being rotated to something new and not being the same bland and monotonously boring brew on tap. The resident appreciation dinners RAD every month are just awesome. The random morning surprises of breakfast for travelers on their way to work in the morning from Crystal and Shannon greeting you on the way out of the community. The clubhouse amenities and pool area with the in water lounge chairs makes any hot day a joy. Yoga, monthly animal grooming, movie and game nights, canvas painting nights. I can't even describe the name brand snacks always being stocked in the club house for residents as another appreciation. Nothing like the normal cookies in every other apartment. There are chips, cookies, coffee machine, sodas, fruit drinks, and fresh fruit in the morning. The gym is nothing amazing and is your basic/standard apartment gym. If they would add a dry sauna room the gym/fitness area would be amazing. The office staff is amazing you really couldn't find a better team always warm and welcoming. We love going into the club house to always be greeted by our name from Crystal and Shannon the atmosphere is so welcoming. This is a descent size property and for Shannon and Crystal to remember everyone by there first name makes us know we're not just an investment companies income and we are part of the community. Even when our friends have come to visit in the past and come back they remembered them. Any issues is immediately addressed like they actually listened to you and didn't just waste your time pretending to listen. We had an issue and Melissa showed up that day shortly after bringing it up to Shannon in the office and had it fixed without any hassle. Thanks for making sure we were satisfied with the work Juan and mikey and not just leaving after the task was done. When we originally toured the property My wife and I thought Crystal and Shannon were the management. We were impressed on how much they were on top of everything and now being here we see it everyday. Even with the occasional loud person in the clubhouse, or the ones who don't follow the rules in the pool. I have never seen Crystal handle that rude/rule breaker with anything but an amazing amount of tact, and diffuse the situation like she had a black belt in verbal judo. I will say they were a little strict on the parking. The signs do say you will get towed and we have seen them towing. Even though I can imagine the frustration of being towed it's the rules and it's clearly marked. Just make sure to get a parking pass from the office, or park in the gravel first bank parking lot next to the apartments. Its better than the 300 bucks you will have to pay to get your car out. We have heard other residents vent about visiting friends getting towed for parking without a pass. lol Glad to be here and thank you to the amazing staff here at 8000. **Please read before considering 8000 Uptown for your new home** My finace and I lived at 8000 Uptown for over two years. We loved it at first, but once Inland Properties took over everything good about it quickly ended. Now, the leasing office's main concern is filling apartments with whoever they can find and they have zero concern for the current tenants, even ones who were great and reliable and lived there for a long period of time. We had never had any issues there up until last winter when they moved a couple in below us that had a serious drug problem. They attempted to violently enter our apartment several times, they had a vicious dog that they'd bring with them and when we asked them to leave us alone the grown man called me disgusting derogatory words (I'm a 25 year old woman to put that in perspective). We immediately brought this up to the leasing office on the first incident and they simply never responded to our calls or emails and did absolutely nothing. It kept occurring, the police even got involved and quickly it became a safety issue. Even the police had said to us that they were concerned for our safety and were appalled by the lack of action taken from the leasing office, also mentioning that they had seen an increase of issues occurring at this property. We again (4th time) brought it up to the office in person, and yet again they did nothing. It was to the point where we were staying in hotels because we felt so unsafe in our own home and had no help from anyone at 8000 Uptown. When we tried to break our lease, they wanted a huge amount of money for us to do so. Even with me crying in the office about the situation and us being great tenants for over two years was not enough for them to care, all the 8000 Uptown leasing office is interested in is one thing: your money. So we ended up paying the large fine as we could not stay in the unsafe living situation they had put us in any longer. It was the best decision we made to leave 8000 Uptown. Since Inland took over the rent had gone up hundreds of dollars a month and we ended up moving to the same area and getting a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment for the same price we were paying for a tiny 1 bedroom, 1 bath at 8000. If you want a safe home and a leasing department that cares about it's tenants well being and not just their wallets, then 8000 Uptown is not for you. Amli Arista or Arista Uptown apartments right across the street both have awesome leasing departments and you'll get twice as much for your money. I hope for their present and future tenants sake that Inland Properties starts taking a look into 8000 Uptown's leasing department and making improvements because in the 7 years that I've been living in apartments I have never seen such a toxically run apartment complex or have been treated so poorly. read more

Recent changes with the office staff have cost residents the benefits of the amenities offered. Reduced office hours and the past couple of day's emails are being sent out about additional hour reductions or the office being closed all day. New beer hours are non-conducive to residents who work in Denver/Boulder or surrounding areas. Half of the staff have moved off property which has hurt the overall culture we once use to thrive off of. Any events in the clubhouse are now sponsored by businesses which are burden with food/beverage costs and are hit or miss. The last several monthly events have been cancelled and never rescheduled without any explanation other than family emergencies which are becoming more and more common leaving residents to less social activities. Recently the office staff have been "cold" and you can sense tension runs high amongst several office employees. When I moved into 8000 Uptown, well over 2 years ago, I had nothing but good things to say. The beer taps let me meet new friends, and the other amenities let those friendships grow. Part of the reason people stay here is not because of the place, but because of the community that we have. With that being said, Inland Residential and 8000 Uptown have dropped the ball, and the general consensus is long term residents will not be renewing their lease when it comes back around. Myself included. Back when things were really good and the community was extremely fun to live at, it was easy to over look things like small bedrooms, tiny closets, and less than premium finishes. However those things are becoming more noticeable since our pool has had the chairs all but removed, the hot tub has been drained, the gym is at a 4 person max capacity and is only open during business hours (meaning if you you have a 8-5 job you will not be able to workout in the gym at all) every bbq has been locked, chained, and locked again. We also loss all access to the pool table, the televisions in the club house, the business center, and most importantly to many residents, the free beer that we are still paying for but not getting. Now I know this is a response to Covid-19, that is not lost on me, but the issue is I pay for a "premium" apartment, with "premium" amenities. I am still paying for said premium apartment and amenities, yet the fixtures and finishes are not on par with what is available in the area and the amenities have been stolen from us. I do say stolen because I am paying for them, yet I am not getting them. The state of Colorado has opened up most everything (bars, restaurants, gyms, etc) yet 800 Uptown cannot figure out how to open up our Clubhouse with similar restrictions? Not to mention other apartments in the area have opened up and have far less restrictions. It seems Inland/8000 just does not care to put forth any effort to keep residents happy. My car insurance company even gave me a discount given I am not driving as much. They say we are in this together, but I guess Inland does not think the same way. This review is more about Inland Residential than it is about 8000 Uptown. Renee and her staff have been a great improvement over previous managers and I can tell she is trying. She is handcuffed by Inland Residential's money hungry ways. I hope people are not mislead by the lack of a Covid-19 updates on the 8000 Uptown website. There is no mention to the fact that almost all of the amenities are currently unavailable with no plan to reopen soon. There is a hug lack of care for residents and little to no communication. Unfortunately the response here to Covid-19 has shown the true colors of Inland and they will be losing many residents. I would strongly suggest anyone looking to live 8000 calls and researches them, and other apartments in the area, before you choose to live at this Inland Property. read more

Nice, clean, decently-priced complex near the rail line and just minutes from Boulder. One exit from the Flatiron Crossing mall. Lots of good shopping and eating nearby. Access to all the major highways and Downtown quickly. Also "back ways" using Wadsworth and Kipling right down the way. This is one of the most centrally located places for access to everything between Downtown Denver and Boulder. Great access and convenience. read more

They have extreme COVID policies, the gym still requires a face mask, barbecues were shut down for about 1.5 years, and the club house is still closed even after the governor dropped the mask mandate. Even though the amenities have been basically shut down, they still advertise them on their website. There is no parking for visitors so they have to illegally park in the event center parking or on the street and walk a good distance to get into the complex. Parking for residents is mostly paid (above rent price). The customer service at the office is poor, and the last lease renewal, they threatened me into completing my renewal before I was ready. I think those staff members are gone now because of the high turn over rate in office staff. I emailed Inland management about a concern that was not addressed by office staff, and they didn't even bother to respond to my email. Rent prices keep getting jacked up and they gouge you more if you don't sign a 13 month lease. When I first moved in about 3 years ago this was a completely different complex. Ashley was an amazing apartment manager and there were many amentities to enjoy. There are limited windows in the apartments and no ceiling fans. However, the apartments are pretty nice. The people in the area are COVID brainwashed and will cross the street if you try to walk towards them. Not a friendly neighborhood anymore. read more

My fiancè and I have lived in these apartments for about a year an a half now. The new owners are nice, and attentive - they sent someone from maintenance to our assistance once at about 7pm, and they were in and out within 15 mins. These apartments are pretty affordable considering how nice and updated they are. Plus if you're a beer drinker, you get two free beers a day (32oz) which a choice of 4 varieties on tap! It's a great way to unwind, but also we've made great friends by coming down a few days a week. This apartment complex has a great way of connecting their residents and showing that they care. read more

We have had a great experience at 8000 Uptown. The office staff is helpful and friendly. We have had the most interaction with Crystal and she is always welcoming and makes the clubhouse a great place to meet neighbors. The apartment is nice and all maintenance requests are addressed quickly. read more

At some point during the pandemic, new staff members replaced all the old ones. You used to see the old staff all the time, mingling with the residents and updating us on events that were coming up that we could partake in. The new staff is nowhere to be found, you will never see them. The fitness center now has set hours rather than being open 24 hours like before but it is never open on time. The pool has the same hours now as well with the understanding that you need to social distance but you will never see any of the staff enforcing the new capacity limit so the pool area gets way overcrowded especially on weekends. If you send a work order outside of office hours it will be completely overlooked. It really feels like we've had to fend for ourselves the past couple months when, if anything, we should be hearing more from the staff? The remaining maintenance staff who have been here since I've moved in are the only saving grace, they work tirelessly to keep up the common areas and are always smiling. read more

Our experience with these apartments was ok. The property manager works very hard, and Crystal is great, but some of the front office staff is fairly unprofessional. The buildings themselves are new, poorly constructed, and you will hear all of the neighbors around you. The amenities offered are not practical and leave the front office to appear as a nightclub/play area rather than a place of business. This neighborhood attracts very young, first time apartment dwellers. More than half of the lights will be out in the common areas of these apartments at any given time leaving open the opportunity for very strange interactions with unruly neighbors. read more
