This review is only for the mozzarella cheese sticks. First off, they only give you 6 standard sized cheese sticks for $8.00. But secondly, each and every cheese stick was hallow. It was obvious that all of the cheese had squirted out during the cooking process. The cook should have noticed this, but served it anyway. The pro here is that you can actually watch your burger cooking on the grill so you know it's fresh. I was disappointed with my bacon. Was staying at the Goldstrike next door and wandered over to the Horseshoe to see what they had to offer for food. Decided a burger sounded good when I found this place and really had pretty low expectations. I wound up pleasantly surprised. Fresh beef patty, cooked a perfect medium as ordered, served on a nice soft bun with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and their version of a tasty special sauce. Adding fries will cost you $3 additional putting you easily between $10-17 for a combo meal depending on the burger you order. The basic 1/2lb burger is $8 and there are a few choices of 1/3 lbs burger for $7. Sadly, this is one of the cheapest options in eating when you are at Horseshoe. The next thing that stands out is the bun. The buns are awesome. Nice soft and huge. Very light and does not take away or soak up any of the flavors in between the buns. Definitely a highlight. Had it twice and both times asked for medium but came out to medium well. I guess it really depends on the cook that is grilling (you can see them grill as you wait). This place is nothing special just a high priced average burger in a smoked filled casino. Ordered two hotdogs, I wanted grilled onions added, the charge is a dollar extra for each hot dog. We went late, 2 people in line, with about 5 people waiting for food. All the condiments came in little cups served on the side. Condiments were ice cold - which bums you out when you are supposed to put them on a warm burger. Buns were huge - so it just intensified the skimpiness of the burger. Also ordered a "kobe beef foot long hot dog". No way this was kobe beef and no way this was a foot long. Again, a huge bun, so they cut the dog down the center and it was still dwarfed by the bread.
