[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a neat little place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I happened to be in the area and had been wanting to check it out. Service was fast and friendly. It's in a plaza so plenty of parking available. The beer was good, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we so enjoyed having a console at our table and being able to play some games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a QR code you can scan to see the extensive listing of all the games they have, and you can request whatever you want to play. It was a fun visit!

Amazing beer and an amazing place to hang out !

    Mayan Chocolossus...best there is!

Truly great fun for this Yelp find! This joint is a bit out of the way, but worth it. The proprietor knows what he is doing because all the styles I tried were on point! If I'm in the area I'm coming back here, and I'll need to Uber because the Mayan Chocolossus was not a sessionable beer and crave worthy! They even had a panini maker for a brew snack..I had the cubano, and added the pickled hop shoots! Fab! Ambiance is industrial brewery, service was fab, and prices were great! This joint makes the list!

A scrappy up-and-comer, a game-themed taproom serving several types of beers. Flights available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Board games are free to borrow, along with standup arcade cabinets (that each had a broken stick or button when I tried).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would prefer a darker vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is well-lit and seems to welcome parents with young kids, which further creates a wholesome ambiance that doesn't speak to my inner scoundrel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looking forward to a larger adult clientele that goes to be sociable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So impressed with this place. Family ran, with the best employees you can possibly find. If you like retro games the vibe is strong here. The beer just as strong. lol! we tried pretty much all they have and I can't complain about any of them. My favorite was White Mage!! They were setting up for a Fundraising event right as we were leaving. These are awesome people you've gotta come check it out

Was in the West Valley yesterday so I stopped in yesterday, just Ryan & myself for about 10 mins so I got to chat him up about the beers & brewery...friendly fellow. I gotta say... I am a total sucker for when breweries have a Theme & run w it!! Plus all the nintendo stuffs reminded me of my childhood. Anyways...review... Ryan was knowledgable & friendly! I liked the selection of beer and I liked the comfy, spacious digs!! Would definitely recommend stopping in if you have never been! Cheers

My husband and I love this place! We had our first date here and we came back for our 1 yr anniversary and have made it a point to come here every anniversary. 8-bit is a part of our story and of course the beers are great! What's even better are the owners Ryan and Krystina! They are a very welcoming couple and create such a welcoming atmosphere. Although they probably never remember us, they make it feel similar to family. There's board games and video games to enjoy as well. After coming here for 2 years now, we will always return as long as the environment continues to feel the way it does now.

8-Bit Aleworks is so freaking cute! I really love this place! It is a nice chill and fun place to hangout, drink some beers, and play some games. My husband and I came here when we were on a trip to Arizona and we are so happy that we were able to make time and come here. We both got a flight each so that we could try all of the beers. My husband is more of a IPA hoppy type of guy and I am more of an ale or hefe type of guy so there was enough variety for us to test. We really loved not only the beers, but we really loved the names of the beers too. So clever! Can't wait for the next time for us to come here! Definitely coming back here the next time we are in the area. The only criticism that I was say is that I wish they didn't have such harsh florescent lighting. Maybe if they put some softer mood lighting, it would be a little cooler.

We planned a stop here because of the Witcher warmer and it was well worth it! We love stouts and this has got to be the best stout we've tried yet. It has chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnuts. Basically a Nutella stout. We also tried Sleepy Hollow's revenge (pumpkin ale) and Arroz of Icarus (horchata cream ale). Both were delicious but we did enjoy the pumpkin ale more. We'll definitely be back soon and we'll probably end up getting a growler of the Witcher warmer to enjoy for the season 2 premiere of the Witcher.

Stopped by 8-bit for a quick drink.. it was pretty empty for a Thursday. But we like it like that! The place is small but super cool looking. A lil cold, but the games are cool! Josh was amazing and really made our time there great. He was knowledgeable and super friendly! We played Mario cart and had a beer flight! I love that they have different options on the size pours you can get. I will definitely be back! The pretzel was great. Wish they had a FEW more food items but it was great for what I needed. Great seasonal beers though, try them all!

Cutest or nerdiest beer flight! Either way, it was delicious!

I had to order the Adult Mac & Cheese, and let me tell you--it never disappoints. This dish is the definition of comfort food. The creamy cheese sauce, earthy mushrooms, and rich truffle flavor are always perfectly balanced. It's one of those meals I can count on being consistently delicious every single time. My husband ordered one of their burgers and upgraded his fries to the Garlic Parmesan Fries. If you're a garlic lover, I highly recommend making that upgrade. The garlic flavor is bold and intense in the best way possible. It's great to know this location delivers the same quality and consistency as every other Yard House I've visited. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff worked hard to keep up with everyone and still provided friendly, attentive service. If you're looking for consistently great food with a menu that has something for everyone, this Yard House is definitely worth a visit!

I already reviewed my local location in Hanover, MD. Didn't have much to add to Gaithersburg, MD or Springfield, VA location except that I had my 32nd birthday party in Springfield, the first location in the DC area. Prior to moving to the DC area in 2011, I lived in Phoenix. I had been to all 3 Valley locations Glendale (Westgate), Phoenix (Desert Ridge), & Scottsdale (Fashion Square Mall) [Scottsdale one no longer exists]. My 1st visit to a Yard House ever was this Glendale location in 2008. My friend invited me to this location citing their great happy hour. I remember I liked the sliders on the happy hour pricing, which was cheap back then. A wide variety of beer options and huge glasses the length of a half yard. A full yard would be difficult to drink and way too much beer to drink in one sitting; plus the beer would get warm & flat by the time you'd finish a whole yard of beer. Staff was nice at the Glendale location. Now, 18 years later happy hour is still good albeit different and yes more expensive but still good deal relative to normal price.

The Donut Holes were fun, especially with the glaze for dipping. The coffee was okay. The kids' white mac and cheese needed more cheese, which feels like a pretty important detail when "cheese" is half the name. Our server was delightful and very helpful, which definitely helped the overall experience. I ordered the Florentine Benedict, and while it was good, it was not something I would be raving about afterward. Overall, Haymaker was a solid breakfast/brunch stop.
