This place is excellent...it's family-owned, with outstanding customer service, and offers all pull-through sites with great views, just minutes away from the Little Big Horn Battlefield. We are driving across the country, and this is hands down one of our favorite campsites so far. You can take a short hike into the hills that offers spectacular views. It's peaceful and quiet with mostly older people, which is perfect for us. We just came from a major tourist campsite, so this place is a breath of fresh air. There are grass areas for the dogs and a small playground for kids. Depending on your campsite, it might be slightly uneven, so bring levelers. We love it so much here that we're staying an extra night! read more

This is a great place to stay if you have an RV and are visiting Little Bighorn National Monument. The campground is only 3 miles from the Monument and you're literally camping on Reno Creek. Nice and well organized campground. No full hookups were available when we arrived and they did not tell us up front that they would charge a $15 dump fee. We thought that was a little steep. What a nice campground! Well maintained grounds, lovely walking paths to view the area, a wonderful little office store with homemade meals you can take to your camper and bake!! We had reservations, but when We pulled in discovered a trailer tire issue, and the camp host was extremely helpful in assessing the issue and referring us to where to go in Hardin for repairs. Both he and the owner checked in with us several times to make sure things were ok before leaving. Super nice people doing a fantastic job of running this business. Highly recommend staying here! If you like non stop trains from 10 pm to 6 am, it's perfect. We didn't sleep worth a damn, the trains were non stop in both directions and slow, so it was way too loud even with closed windows. But the reason I'm pissed off is we had booked 2 nights (thinking we could rest) and realizing we needed to get to a quieter place for tonight, we went to check out at the office and they very kindly refused to refund us for the 2nd night. So if you don't sleep at night and like to piss money away, this place is awesome. Otherwise it's a one trick pony that welcomes anyone for multiday stays, and sees scores of campers scrambling away exhausted after one night, and they keep your money for non rendered services. We booked this RV park in order to see the Little Big Horn site nearby. It's really the only park close but it's a good one. First off, the sunsets are fabulous and last forever. The views, because it's up above the main road are wonderful. You can see forever. The sites are just fine. Nice grass and spaced nicely. There's a path leading way up to the top where you can see off to the east and even better views looking west. Now, the water was yucky. We used our own bottled water instead. The road coming off the highway is a washboard road so you really can only drive 15mph or you'll get your teeth knocked out. Friendly, welcoming staff and very helpful. Such a beautiful place with very nice people working there. Kinda in the middle of nowhere, but part of what makes it so special. The views are stunning and the sunset was amazing. They have us tokens for a free ice cream when we first arrived. We decided to have dinner out of their freezer as well homemade lasagna and a chicken pot pie, both of them were delicious. The camp hosts Derrick and Sheryl were off and had a community bon fire. They invited us over and we had one of the best nights on our trip. Just socializing and getting to know everyone. Good stuff here one night was not enough! Bathrooms and laundry facility super clean. Charles and Jan were super kind as well and nice to chat with. read more

An adorable campground nestled into a family run ranch. The spots are on a hill; but easy to level your rig. Lots of trees where you park, nice laundry, nice playground with toys and frisbee golf! The office/shop is a gem! Comfortable seating on the porch, homemade pies/chicken pot pie, local honey and goodies. The staff are so kind and the Little Bighorn Battlefield is something every American should experience. Don't forget to go to Yellowtail Dam......great fishing, boating and swimming. This is a great place to stay. Kind of out of the way but follow the signs and it's easy. The sites were large and the green grass was great for the dogs and loved sitting in chairs admiring the gorgeous views. After staying in 7 different RV parks on this trip I highly recommend this place. Great staff, beautiful views, and the bathrooms and showers were the cleanest we have seen so far. If you are looking for something very close to the Lttle Bighorn Battlefield or a great place to relax, this is your place. It is on a hill so the views are amazing. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Ask for a site with a tree. All have clear view of the southern sky for satellite reception. There is a 1/2 mile gravel road which you must travel to get here, but it is worth it. When you're here, be sure to check out 3 Brothers Bistro in Hardin. read more

Spendy for a "get off the road" overnight stay. Sites are all on a hill and close together. May not be bad if you are at the bottom of the hill to use facilities. Otherwise, be prepared to hike. But, again, really close together sites. Sorta felt like a parking lot on a hill. The road coming to camp is dirt but not at the camp. Persons running the camp all seem very friendly. They escort you to your site. Bathrooms clean overall but pink mold on shower curtains!! Rates only include 4 people. Extra charge for more. read more

I loved staying at the 7th Ranch for 14 years. After the second year the tent sites were removed, but Chip and Sandy let me put up my tent on an RV site. The extra cost was worth it for the proximity to the Little Bighorn Battlefield. Then just before the COVID lockdown, I was told tents would no longer be allowed, so I made plans to go elsewhere. When I heard they had sold the place, I asked the new owner about a tent, and she said they were still working out that policy, but told me I could rent an RV site for my tent, so I reserved for June. When I arrived, after driving 1300 miles, the woman at the desk (not the owner) told me very rudely that no tents were allowed. When I tried to show her the email I had received from the owner, she told me she didn't want to hear it and couldn't help me, and that vans are also not allowed. Eventually the owner was reached and said I could stay, but the woman at the desk said I should never expect to stay there again. I decided I did't care to deal with her and left. If she had been even remotely polite, we could at least have parted amicably, but as soon as I said "tent," she began snapping at me. In 14 years I was never treated with anything but kindness, but I guess the new management has different policies. read more

Well organized park, wide driveways, ample pull-through parking. Large public bathroom with 3 showers, and nice laundry room. Awesome couple that manages the park! For $42+ per night, I would expect better WiFi and cable TV to be included. If you plan to visit Custer's Battlefield, be sure to FIRST go to the Battlefield Museum at exit 514, and watch the 45- minute documentary. It will definitely make the Battlefield visit more interesting. read more

When I first looked at this RV park on google earth maps, I was not very impressed. But it would do during our travels from Orrgon. When we arrived we were presently surprised. We were first greeted by Sharon who checked us in with a welcoming smile and, she gave us free ice cream. We were then escorted by her husband Neil, also outgoing and friendly who showed us to our pull through site for our 30 foot 5th wheel. The park is located on the side of a hill at the base of the Little Big Horn battle grounds. The sites are level and well manicured. A small park for the kids and a small freebies gold course. Washers and dryers are also available. So glad i didn't rely on google earth pictures, if I did I would have missed the gem. Forgot to mention the soft artisan water at every site and, and wifi. My husband and I specifically chose this RV park because historical tours were advertised. We had always wanted to go to see the Little Big Horn battlefield and decided to spend money on a private guided tour. The tour was incredible. We saw all sites and traced the progress of Custer, Reno and Benteen. Chip, our guide, started the tour on his property where we could see the early troop movements. We fired period weapons, toured two museums, had a great lunch at the trading post and finished the tour on Last Stand Hill. Chip's depth of knowledge is impressive. He gave us so many insights into the battle and its participants. Don't miss the opportunity to take the tour. The fact that the campground was spotless, staff friendly and the RV sites situated so that everyone can see a gorgeous Montana sunset was a bonus. If you don't stay at 7th Ranch you have missed out. read more

I reserved their one teepee for one night and I called to confirm with a late arrival during the day. They said it would be no problem as long as I got there before closing at 9:00PM. A severe thunderstorm opened up in the evening and it stormed heavy for hours through the night. A few of the resident staff made sure to check on me in the morning to see how I fared the storm. I had taken the extra precaution of setting up my small two man tent inside the teepee, so I stayed dry, but it wasn't near as wet in the teepee as I would have thought, despite the open smoke hole and soaked canvas. The gravel floor of the teepee stayed very dry. That, plus some good information about the Little Bighorn National Monument and a great photo op recommendation made the stay a total win. Wonderful, friendly staff, fantastic service, gorgeous location. Just doesn't get any better than this. read more

My husband and I stayed here in our RV two weeks ago on our way to West Glacier and again last night on our back. It is very clean and well maintained. The park is on a hill and set back from I-90. The views are beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. Great location if you are visiting Custer Battlefield. Restrooms, showers and laundry are very well maintained.
