It was an amazing wedding! The place was beautiful but one of the owners walked up to us and accused use of bring in tequila when we were saying my brothers girl friend Keyla which does sounds like tequila bet then she kept following us around the wedding and mind you I don't even drink alcohol which is funny then we went outside to smoke and my cousin and I started play fighting not even aggressively and she walked up to use and kick us off the property and even when all this was going on she was yelling at the everybodying going to there cars even to grab diapers for there kid it's upsetting how an amazing place it is to be brought down by a ignorant owner read more

Lady claiming to be the owner was horribly rude and ran off half of the wedding guests. Would follow them to their cars, accusing them of trying to sneak on tequila! When of the guests names was Kelia, so she toght they were dating tequila! Yelled at guests for cussing. I intervened and told her that was not her job! She proceeded inside and told our DJ to turn down the musi6. It was 7:45 pm. She proceeded to to sit down behind the bar. I approached her and told her she was being completely out of line! Asked for her name and bosses name ans number. She refused so I told her that is fine! I will take your picture and make calls tomorrow. As I got her picture she physically attacked me! Then tried saying my son attacked her! He absolutely got in her face and yelled at her. But never once touched her! They then proceeded to try and not allow the wedding party to get their belongings from the rooms they paid $500 to use! Worst experience and completely ruined the wedding. read more

Had an event last weekend and it was AMAZING!!! The decorations, the site, the staff... all were spot on and beyond expectations. The staff/owners were willing to work with us on getting our ideas brought to reality and even helped us when a few glitches popped up last minute. The promptness with which everything was done surprised and pleased me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for anyone who wants to be impressed and is willing to work with people who know what they are doing, as the staff at the Swift River Ranch are so capable and willing to work with their customers to meet (or exceed) their expectations. read more

Our daughter and new son-in-law were just married at Swift River Ranch. This is a 5 out of 5 recommendation. Heather and Mel were great to work with, so helpful in ideas for layout and décor and coordination, without ever pushing a certain style or their own preferences. They helped my daughter achieve a look and flow that she loved and set a tone of calm professionalism that made the day run so smoothly. The facility itself is just wonderful - a mix of outdoorsy, rustic, and chic that seems so Montana. We used the bride preparation room (spacious and helpfully equipped), the groom preparation room (they loved it!), the lawn and arch for the wedding (gorgeous backdrop), and then the full barn for cocktails and reception. As evening fell, the lanterns and chandeliers and other lighting gave the place a magical effect. We were lucky to have such a wonderful venue for such a perfect day. read more

Brides beware! Swift River Ranch is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue but we would not recommend it to anyone! I dealt with Coy up until the wedding day and she was great, very helpful and kind. The owner on the other hand was extremely rude and disrespectful. She and some of her family (I assume) and help invited themselves to our ceremony. They sat at tables right by our ceremony site and smoked and drank beer and had a little kid running around. However she made her help reprimand kiddos at our wedding any time they were playing or running around outside. Definitely not a kid friendly venue. Somebody, sometimes groups, walked through our reception every hour. At one point one of them was found to be pocketing our wedding favors and I watched the owner pick up my centerpieces and take flowers out of the jars. When confronted about this the owner stated "Why would I steal something that's maybe worth 15 cents? Besides I can guarantee your guests threw them all in the garbage anyway". At this point we were all upset which result in an argument and the owner telling us we would not get our deposit back. We cleaned anyway and did end up getting the deposit. However, no couple should have to go through that on their wedding day. read more

Wish I could give the Swift River Ranch zero stars. unless you want to see your bride end up in tears on her big day stay clear of this place. The manager Heather is rude and unprofessional. She completely ruined the last wedding that was held here causing damage to the djs equipment, and lead to the wedding reception leaving the venue early. Heather has no idea what customer service is let alone good customer service. She yelled at bar tenders for taking a break even though the bar was being covered (they where not the bar tenders from the venue so she had no business bossing them around) she started clearing tables at 7pm even though there was guests still sitting there causing all the guest to have to move up, she would dump drinks that had just been bought and sat down on a table, complained about the grabages becoming to full cause she had to empty them and she didnt want too, she wouldnt allow the caterers to plug on more the two roasters causing the father of the bride to run home to get a generator so the caterera could get the food for the reception done in time for the reception. The bathrooms at the venue where out of order and the smell coming from them was horrible for almost $3,000 to rent the venue for 12 hours one would think having the bathroom operational would be a priority for the owner and manager. My friends entire wedding reception was ruined by Heather. Swift River Ranch should not be rented until they under go a managment change and learn how to treat there customers better. Overall, we had a good experience with Swift River! The business has a few glitches to get worked out, like scheduling events. After a bit of confusion and re-scheduling in the beginning, we were pleased with their services.(They offered additional amenities for their mistake.) The venue is beautiful. It's wonderful to have workers put up and take down all tables, chairs, and linens. It's great to have so much time to set up for your event - not just going in the day of. This place sucks if you want a contract to be broken and then they call the sheriff cause your djs equipment get friends cause they unplug something that's not theirs cause they dont like a little thing and then start arguing with the bride groom brides sister and father.
