But I think the coolest part that we personally loved was all of the opportunities to buy from local artisans. Anytime I had a request they were quick to respond and did whatever it took to accommodate our needs. From getting the fridge stocked with food, setting up horse rides for the crew on our day off, holding their work on the ranch so it would be quite for sound when filming, the list goes on! Not only was the hospitality incredible, but the property itself was a dream come true! After a long day of work, it was the perfect place to unwind. We would sit on the porch and watch the beautiful sunsets in the big open sky while cooking our dinner over a campfire. One night we even got to watch roping practice in their outdoor arena. They not only have horses and cows on the ranch, but 3 dogs and 3 cats who became our "office pets" (their dog Prince quickly became our favorite). A great added bonus to our stay having sweet animals come to great us each day. I would recommend the magical Cottenwood Ranch again and again. They then proceeded to try and not allow the wedding party to get their belongings from the rooms they paid $500 to use! Worst experience and completely ruined the wedding.
