REVIEW #2100. 7th is my new "go to" AYCE KBBQ! You have a ton of AYCE KBBQ restaurants in K-Town LA, each one is unique and different in their own way. One thing a place needs to compete is good service and good food. 7th Korean is that. I was able to book a reservation (even though we didn't need to book one), and when we arrived we were greeted by a couple of pleasant wait staff. We were sat right away (they weren't busy just yet), and were able to order off their AYCE menu (lowest option). All their meats were fresh and good. Loved their banchans, their steamed egg, onion pancakes, and other dishes. The owner was even around and chatted with us for a few minutes. The vibe is good, a few televisions to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup on, friendly service, good KBBQ, and a nice dinner experience. They have their own parking lot but it gets busy quick with the few other restaurants in the plaza. Definitely will be back! Thanks to the owner and staff.

Stopped in for lunch in this AYCE place. The server was very helpful in turning and cutting out meats on the grill. Everything was very good however the spicy meats weren't very spicy. Were stuffed!

    Brisket and baby octopus.

This was my second time at this restaurant. The last time was 2/5/20! (6 years ago). The gang from work wanted an AYCE Korean BBQ, IN KOREA TOWN, that was reasonably priced with great food and easy parking. So, I recommended going here. THIS IS THE PLACE!!! THE PLACE!!! We were 7 adult women from a top medical practice in Century City ... nurses, managers, one of our practitioners ... two of them brought their daughter (under 5 yo). Our cars were valet parked for $3 each on a Friday night. The owner, herself, greeted us as we arrived (I had called earlier and said there would be 10 total and we'd need one high chair). They were ready! One server (I didn't catch his name) was in super-hustle mode ... bringing food out quickly, getting everyone beverages, apple juice for the kids, he kept replenishing both grill tables we occupued with whatever was needed; more kimchi, more rice, more meats - he was paying attention! Everything was super fresh. No one had even the slightest complaint. Bulgogi, Brisket, Shrimp, Octopus ... you name it! We threw it on the grill. My favorite was the Spicy Bulgogi!! A few extras were ordered ... like the steamed egg for a few people, and a soup for one. Everything was perfect! We made things simple for ourselves and the restaurant and put the entire tab on one credit card. With tax and included 18% gratuity the two kids were $18 each ... and the 7 adults split the remainder equally ($52 each). $398 total for 9 very well-fed people!! I offered an additional cash tip because I felt 18% was too low for the WONDERFUL SERVICE we received. The owner kept insisting it was unnecessary ... I insisted it was. Originally from NYC (I used to love Kang-Suh), I have been living in L.A for 22 years. This restaurant is THE REAL DEAL ... culturally on-point (traditional Korean), Quality foods, SUPER FRIENDLY, hard-working staff. The price is ridiculously unpretentious and reasonable. They can accommodate large groups (reserve first) and are kid-friendly. This really needs to be recognized as a top go-to for great Korean food. After 6 years (and riding out the pandemic), this place is still earning my 5 Stars. And I love that it is woman-owned!!

Our 2nd Visit Was Even More Memorable Our second visit was even more memorable than the first! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even allowed my service dog to come inside and sit right next to us. That level of kindness and accommodation really meant a lot. Last time, I didn't include photos because I didn't expect the experience to leave such a strong impression on me. But this time, I had to share the amazing food with everyone because it is absolutely delicious. If I could have 수정과 (Sweet Cinnamon Ginger Punch) by the gallon, I would honestly drink it all myself! The owner is always so awesome -- her personality is what truly makes this restaurant experience so special. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers. There was even a bald customer waiting outside to be seated in the blistering 96-degree heat, and she brought out a bag full of ice for him to put on his head because he almost fainted. She also gave him an ice-cold water. If that's not caring, I don't know what is. This time we tried: * Spicy Beef Belly (매운 우삼겹살) * Spicy Brisket (매운 차돌) * Large Intestines (대창구이) * Hot Soybean Soup (된장찌개) * Cheese Corn Always ask for the special hot sauce! Highly recommend -- amazing food, amazing service, and an owner who truly makes you feel valued.

So glad we ended up here! They accommodated a party of 6 as a walk in and was seated in 5 minutes. The hospitality we received from Jennifer and the rest of the staff was undeniably amazing. There's a ton of other kbbq spots in this area, but come here. You won't regret it! We ordered AYCE at $34.99/per person and while they offer a premium option for a bit more, we really stick to brisket & bulgogi mainly. Sometimes pork belly. We felt adventurous and got an order of octopus and even that was good! Jennifer and a male staff took excellent care of us, laid the meats on the grills for us and instructed to wait a bit longer for the octopus to cook. The banchan variety was excellent with kimchi, salad, radish, pickled bean sprouts, pasta salad, and glass noodles. The steamed egg was yummy, and the dipping sauces went well with the meats. Ask for the spicy sauce! This spot is well lit, inviting, and the ventilation a good. I think the only con is there is only 1 restroom. I believe the parking situation is valet but I'm not sure since we walked from another location over. If I'm ever back in this area again, I will definitely come back.

    Beautiful decorations :)

Had a great experience here. Quality meat, great portions, and excellent service. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you're looking for good Korean BBQ in Koreatown!

This place was SO GOOD. If you're trying to decide which kbbq place to go to in ktown, definitely try this place out! Not viral on tiktok from what I've seen, but definitely deserves to be. All you can eat options are good, but we ordered a combo that said it fed 4-5 people, and that combo FILLED US UP! Had to unbuckle and everything, but it was soooo yummy. The meat is good quality, and the banchans were good. They have rice paper, which is a must for me. Yummy mac salad, yummy japchae, and super yummy cucumber kimchi--probably my favorite one. The best part of this place was the staff!!! The Korean auntie working was the sweetest, and so helpful as she cooked for us. She took care of us so well!!! I will come back 10/10 times just to make sure to give her a good tip. So well deserved. A little place in the same plaza as alchemist, and it's a bit small, but there was no wait for a table on a Sunday night. Loved it here so much. Definitely come here!!!

Bad food :( The service was great, they were really nice! The dishes however were sub par. The stew lacked essential rich ingredients and the bulgogi quality was mediocre. The bill was $50 pre-tip so it wasn't cheap either. Because of the bland food and high price, I sadly cannot recommend this place!

Good kbbq good quality of meats was $35 for ayce can only order 3 at a time really good service they help you cook. Banchan plentiful

I have very mixed feelings about this place. We stopped by since we were already in the area and noticed there was no wait, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, they only had two employees working on a Friday night, but really only one lady was working. That made the service painfully slow and not very attentive. Everything took a long time to come out. The meat quality was average, it was decent for the price, but nothing special. I also found it strange that instead of marinating the spicy meats, they just poured a bit of sauce over the top, and not even enough to cover everything evenly. The side dishes were good but served in very small portions. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're looking for value, but definitely not the best KBBQ experience. Also, since it's in Koreatown, expect to pay for parking (it was $5 when we went).

HANNAH is by far the most welcoming, kind, loving waitress we have ever seen in all of LA k-town and beyond. She worked so hard to make us feel SO welcomed. She gave all the best recommendations, always made sure we had meat to eat, even cooked for us, all with laugh on her face. We even had a birthday cake prepared and she kindly brought candles and flame for us when she didn't have to. Seriously, this is a secret gem and I wish I could keep it lowkey. I LOVE THIS PLACE WILL BE BACK EVERY OTHER DAY TO FILL MY BELLY WITH 10/10 BEST MEAT EVER. INSANE FLAVOR, #1 service. YES!!!!! Love you guys!

We ordered four of the most ordered and highly revered items: tri tip, coconut beef adobo, smoked gouda mac, and the cornbread bibingka. * Tri tip: Ours was cold and not tender.. wasn't very flavorful either. Kinda tasted like the forgotten order that's been left drying on the counter for some time. The price is decent for an entree of tri tip though. Comes with a horseradish sauce + vinegar and bbq sauce on the side, but I didn't think any of these accompaniments were strong on their own. Made the tri tip better but not by much. * Coconut beef adobo: One of the better items. Beef chunks were melt in your mouth and the sauce was a good middle between savory and vinegary - balanced out by sweetness from the coconut. * Smoked gouda mac: Would not order again. The big shell macaroni noodles were soggy; the cheese sauce was mild in flavor, clumpy and not satisfying melty; lastly, the panko crust was just there and didn't add anything imo. * Cornbread bibingka: The other better dish of the night - very moist, muffin like crumb, and not too sweet or heavy. Portion is on the smaller side though. My bf who normally isn't a fan of cornbread enjoyed this!
