Nice brewery in the middle of Vienna with mainly traditional German styles but also some more recent ones (e.g. IPAs). I only stopped for a beer and I had a Weihnachtsbock which sounded good right after visiting a Christmas market close by. The service was quick and the beer was good. I wish I had the time to try some other beers.

A very fine gastro pub!

I always have a good time at Siebensternbräu. It has a convenient location in the heart of Neubau. It's large enough to accommodate parties of different sizes. In the summer it is pleasant to sit outside in the Gastgarten...in winter it is warm in the regular dining rooms. The food is good enough with many traditional Austrian dishes on the menu. The beer is more than good enough ... and is brewed right on the premises. Service has always been fine. Like I said, Siebensternbräu is always a good time!

Although I find that the crowd is quite international here, the food is authentically Austrian (as are the waiters and waitresses ;)) and it is a great place to hang out in a big group. They brew their own beer and my two beer fanatic friends loved it so it must be good stuff! I like the location and the surrounding area a lot. The pub is underground which is cool and the decor just screams Austrian pub to me so I love it. Only 4 stars as the staff could be a bit more polite...But maybe it's all part of the authentic approach ;)

Best home brewed beer in town. This is their chili beer. Spicy but smooth.

Great food, great beer, and a large enough place that always has space for you make this one of my favorite brewpubs in Vienna. If the service were more friendly or helpful, they'd definitely get 5 stars. Great ribs, goulash, käsespätzle, and more provide excellent examples of these classic Austrian dishes. Their beer is all made on the premises and is always fresh, balanced, and tasty. Besides their standard beer menu (helles, märzen, hemp, dunkel, chili, and smoky raunch beer) they also have seasonal selections. Right now it's a summer bock and an IPA. If the weather is nice, they have a covered back patio which is lovely.

Today i went to here with my friend.Nice atmosphere.the food as well especially recommend the 1/2 grill ribs .such big enough and yummy. I also ordered one pics viennese schnitzel with potatoes I didn't taste it in other restaurant so cant compare them but it is tasty just lemon is not enough for . We Ordered schnitzel with potatoes ,grill ribs with fired potatoes ,beer and beef soup ,all in one pics total up not more than 20euro much cheap and reasonable price. Anyway strongly recommend the tourist who wanna taste the Viennese schnitzel &grill ribs .5 stars no doubt !

On a trip to Vienna to get good food and beer. Definitely did not disappoint. Amazing desserts, schnitzel and sauerkraut. Would definitely recommend for a affordable authentic Viennese meal.

After being turned away at two other spots that were booked solid, we stopped into a British pub and asked for a recommendation for where to get something to eat nearby. The waitress recommended this place and mentioned it was a brewery too. I ordered the spinach and feta strudel, what I'd call Austrian spanakopita. It came with actual potatoes, not dumplings, and it was a welcome break. I'd been remarking about how I wanted some actual potatoes. This dish was simple but really good. My BF got the chicken schnitzel and it came with fried potatoes. It was also simple, but good. He got a side of cucumber salad with yogurt and dill and this was really delicious. We had some some good beers here too. It's a pretty sound choice for no frills food and drinks with no reservation required on a Friday night.

Such a friendly and typical Austrian place! If you want to spend an agreable evening with your friends, drinking home-brewed beers or sharing some tasty traditional food, don't hesitate and come to this convivial local! If you are coming in number, just give them a call and reserve one of their large tables! The sympathic staff will be pleased to make your evening as nice as it can be :) And for those who don't wish to drink alcohol: they serve their "Apfelsaft gespritzt" (fizzy Apple juice) in a beer stein, so you will still feel like a real Austrian!

Great place to meet up. Good beer. Ribs are one of the best in the city, but can be hit and miss on the chewy side. The patio courtyard is great in the summer. I especially like the overall quality of most of their meals.

Found this cozy spot a few blocks off the Stadtpark and figured I'd give it a shot. So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...

Came here after seeing excellent reviews on Yelp…read more Not impressed. Waited about 15 mins to get seated even though multiple tables were empty. The staff is limited and looks exhausted. Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. Caprese salad was tasty. In conclusion, if you are passing by and hungry, feel free to stop by. If you are looking for a memorable lunch/dinner experience, plan to visit a different establishment.

Menus and bread serving arrived. $4.80 per person. Oh well. We decided to share and we selected the white asparagus with a tomato and egg relish with a vinaigrette and an Order of Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and lingonberries. Our food arrived very quick. Both dishes quite good. Not the best we have experienced in Vienna and not the worst. - Wiener Schnitzel: best one of the week. It was thin as it should be and not greasy at all. Wish it had been cooked with a little seasoning. Salt and fresh lemon solved that problem. 4/5 - Potato Salad: excellent. Almost addictive. Loved the fresh mache and pumpkin seed oil on it. 5/5 - Cranberry Sauce: or as I call it lingonberry sauce. Average. Tasted like out of a jar. But good. 4/5 - White Asparagus: served with a tomato herb vinaigrette with chopped egg. Wish the asparagus had been served warm then topped with the vinaigrette. Would made the dish pop. Very good. 4/5 - Atmosphere: Outside was glorious. Area was spacious. 5/5 - Service: waiter was abrupt and would disappear for lengthy times. Must have been really busy inside. 3/5 - Value: somewhat overpriced. Think the mandatory $4.80 bread service per person put it over the top. I expected outstanding bread and got a very small serving of bread and a pad of butter with a couple of tablespoons of a herb mixture.
