Pictures and reviews of Kids Fun Cuts looked awesome and I knew this would be the perfect place for him. They had a little play area for kids who are waiting which was very nice. They have various car seats for the kids and if you need it they have regular chairs. We saw one dad with his kid in a chair since it helped get the haircut done, which is very good to know since we have a 1 year old and we'll probably need that option. They have TVs for each station and my son was able to watch cars as he got his haircut. The stylist, Jenna, was very friendly and you could tell everyone here enjoys working with kids. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience and how perfect my son's hair cut came out. We even got to take home a balloon and lollipop. I asked him what was wrong, and he said he liked his haircut, but the stylist grabbed his arm hard and kept telling him to stop moving--even though he wasn't moving. He's 9 years old and has never had an issue with haircuts or left feeling scared before. As a parent, that was upsetting to hear. On top of that, the haircut was $37 for a child's cut, and they won't use a #0 guard if that's what you're looking for.

I had to remind the stylist a couple times we had the package to get the locks of hair and the photo taken so by the end I was just ready to leave and didn't even ask them if they were going to print our certificate. Our stylist was extremely inexperienced and lacked any confidence. She didn't even introduce herself by her name, or say hi to my son before asking us to put him in the seat. The fade on the side is extremely choppy and the top is super uneven. We're seeing a good old fashioned barber today to fix it before his birthday party.
