I had taken the day off and drove from Barstow to Victorville specifically for this appointment. When I arrived for the new 4:00 PM time, she was still working on the previous client. At 4:21 PM, I was told she would call/text me when I could come inside, so I waited in my car. By 5:07 PM, I still hadn't been called in. At that point, it had been over an hour since the rescheduled time and more than three hours since my original appointment. I texted that I couldn't wait any longer and requested my $54 deposit back. She called me at 5:08 PM saying she had just finished and I could either come inside or receive a refund. I chose the refund because I had already waited long enough. To her credit, she was understanding and canceled the appointment through StyleSeat. I understand appointments can run behind, but this was excessive. I had already accommodated a two-hour delay, drove from Barstow, and then waited another hour after the rescheduled time. For a $180 service, I expected better scheduling and communication. I can't speak on the quality of her work because I never received the service. This review is strictly about the scheduling and overall experience. I appreciate that I was given the option of a refund, but losing several hours of my day after making the drive was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, I left with no haircut because I ran out of time and planned to return the next day--and my hair ended up jet black instead of the dark brown I requested. To make matters worse, the dye stained my forehead for two days, and no real effort was made to clean it. Despite the poor service, the owner insisted on being paid in full, so I did. Afterward, she repeatedly rescheduled my follow-up appointment. On top of that, I was overcharged without any explanation. I expected professionalism and clear communication, but that was not the case. Later, I returned to get a quote from another stylist just to compare prices. She quoted me $100 less than what the owner had charged. When the owner found out, she told me never to come back. This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I do not recommend this salon and will never be returning. Save your money and go elsewhere. Almost a year has gone by, and it still makes me very upset this girl charged me $300 for black hair.
