As a result, I apologize and warn every attendant and I only get $5 at a time, which is actually a complete pain for me, but I am specifically trying to be considerate. I actually am aware it is annoying, believe it or not. So, I resent being told, "You're gomna have to get this fixed, because I can't keep doing this." Uh, excuse me? Do you have something else going on? Have I ever even met you before? I AM THE ONLY PERSON HERE. Haha wth. Sorry that Oregon has a dumbass law that requires you to pump my gas and therefore have a job. But let me jump right on that $200 repair so as not to strain your thumb muscle. Tip: other attendants just turn the handle upsidedown and tell me to stop apologizing.

I did see and hear an attendant aggressively yelling at another attendant one time, a little uncomfortable, but thankfully it was a one time occurrence for me. The attendants always clean my windrows while I'm filling up. A nice little touch I don't encounter at many stations anymore.

You know the kind of pickup truck that shouts "work being done here! out of the way!" Part of being a man is also filling up such a beast every hundred furloughs or so. Luckily when the self-pump fuel law was passed in Oregon back in the 1950's, they had the forethought to discount diesel vehicles under the assumption that most diesel vehicles were being used by commercial and farm operators. Unfortunately, this particular Shell station doesn't follow the laws. According to the attendant the owner doesn't allow self pump at all. Which easily explains why diesel prices are about 40 cents a gallon more expensive here on average. The second problem is that the gas pump wouldn't actually fill the tank either. I've never had problems with it anywhere else, ever, so I can only conclude that the problem is with their equipment.

The staff is always nice and only occasionally reluctant to pump your gas. Such a pain you have to ask but I chalk it up to who ever manages or owns this place. They are the real POS here, if they actually staffed this place appropriately so there was a dedicated store attendant and dedicated gas attendant like every other place does that would be much better, again the staff actually working are always nice if not stressed when one person is trying to manage inside and the pumps... but again, it not their fault their managers are daft. Anyways, I hate writing bad reviews but god this place is the worst and whoever owns it should consider a career change and had this place over to people who are competent in what a typical gas station service should be like without totally screwing their employees. High employee turnover is always 99% because of the boss, just saying.

As some of you may know, I absolutely loathe the "full-service" gas stations that exist in Oregon and New Jersey. However, the attendants at this station are all very friendly, helpful and kind; something that is very uncommon in the industry. Sure, the gas here is a bit more expensive, but I'll gladly pay it to have a pleasant refueling experience. Sometimes they even clean your windows! This is seriously way beyond what I was expecting, but hey, it's great!

The gal who answered the phone asked for some information & had made a comment about how it was the end of her day. Once she ran the quote, she said that based on the type of car & what we were potentially needing that it was "too much labor" "over 5 hours worth" & also stated and I quote "no one is going to want to do this." I politely let her know that was okay & we were happy to do business with another auto shop that was willing to help. I let her know her comment rubbed me the wrong way. She apologized, which I appreciate, but she then justified it by saying she should "know better than to answer the phone so close to closing time" & that she had been at work since 7:30am and was tired. Overall, am disappointed in the experience - I had called based on the good reviews on Yelp/Google. Needless to say, I won't be considering them for any needs in the future since they don't seem to be hurting for business!

Today I drove out of my way to fuel up there because Amazon Prime has a July 306th deal where you get $1 off every gallon up to 30 gallons. what? crazy, I know, but totally valid. when I arrived at station, I went inside and the cashier scanned the barcode and sure enough, $1 off per gallon which is a huge savings and so helpful when regular is over $4 a gallon. They have two different prices for cash and card but to do cash you HAVE to go inside and deal with whatever angry human they shove behind that register (and I have had some insanely nasty ARCO employees) making the extra money savings not at all worth it....especially now that you have to walk in to pay, walk out to pump your own gas and then go back in to get your change! SOOOOOO, imagine my surprise at this location that I use my debit card and get UNDER the posted cash price...WHAT??!? I get to pump my own gas (yes, I am one of the crazy folks who prefers to pump their own gas!) but it is soooo cheap. Another thing I did not like about ARCO is that they ping hold a ridiculous amount on a card - and I get it...I pull up and see the person prior to me spent $80+ to fill their tank but I fill for under $30 even when prices are truly tragic so I did like that I can enter my "fill" amount. The downside was that I figured I would just add $15 an go to one of my actual super cheap gas spots when over on that side of town... and then I see that nope, I am getting a cheaper than that price. So I fill the $15, replace the nozzle, grab it again - rerun the card for another $15 and it draws another $8.13 to actually fill my tank. I am so happy to know the secret though - use your debit card! This is close to home too, runs all night and I love having gas up options.

Well I said someone's in a bad mood today and she ended up calling the cops on me. Three cop cars came looking for me they weren't happy. 2 days prior she called the cops on a homeless person doing nothing wrong. She said she was working on her day off and She has bronchitus. Then why you working that's highly contagious. Anyways she just didn't like that I said something so she called the cops on me. Drama queen! Hope corporate looks into her. Shouldn't be sitting texting ignoring customers and rolling her eyes. We are trespassed until we get it in writing we can go back. But won't ever go back and not letting friends family coworkers stop there either. Worst service and horrible rude worker!
