And while the food was good bar food, I left with severe bloating and gas after eating a wrap and potatoes. The food comes served in a bar basket with tissue paper, not on a plate. Our server let us know the restaurant closed within the last year and that there were hopes to reopen or expand the business in the future.

These are usually Saturdays: Call ahead for details. Fridays are their busiest restaurant day, as they offer a fish fry which occasionally sells out. The bartender brought our drinks quickly, and two rounds later, other patrons wished us a safe trip home! I was struck that this is the only bar I've seen where the young women outnumbered the men. Although the bar is open until 2am on the weekends, the kitchen closes at 9pm. If you call before nine to place an order for dinner, the bar will hold it for take-out, or for dine in. It gave us a few extra moments to watch pancakes methodically and continuously be poured, flipped and served from the griddle. We had the chance to sit in the original dining room, which features beautiful hand-painted murals. The booth cushions are well worn from years of use, adding to the charm and nostalgia of the space. The room itself felt bright, warm, and inviting. Service from Michelle was prompt and friendly, even with the steady pace of the restaurant. We ordered three AYCE pancake and sausage plates, coffees, a kids' pancake, and a maple milkshake. Pro tip: skip sugar and add maple syrup to your coffee. Trust me! Whether you're visiting with a few family members or bringing a large group, the Maple Tree Inn is a place full of memories, tradition, and perfectly maple-infused breakfasts.
