I've been here twice so far, and the service is always friendly and quick. The food is amazing, especially the burgers and bowls -- me and my group always leave happy with our choices. The inside in fun and lively, and it's always a treat to go here :) read more

Great service and great experience overall! We weren't familiar with the area and felt fortunate to pick 7 West.

Great service. Even late. Burgers are on point and the beer selection is even better.

I was in the mood for Cajun fries and saw online that they had them on the menu so I called them in for a pickup order. Over the phone was easy to order and picking them up was a breeze. When I finally tasted them, WOW they are #1 Cajun fries I've ever had. They had just enough of a kick to get your nostrils flowing a bit but not even to where it burned your whole mouth. Cooked to perfect with just the right amount of seasoning. If I'm in the area again, I'll be stopping right on by for another order! read more

Great service, decent food, AND you can customize fries however you'd like. Id come back just for that alone. read more

7 West TapHouse - Cream Cheese and Olive Burger - Burgers Near Me - Superior, Wisconsin

The service was the only positive thing of our visit. In the group we had 2 burgers, chicken tenders, and 2 salads. It took quite some time for our meal to come out. Based on the temperature of the "hot" food when it arrived, it had likely been sitting a while. Burgers and fries had very little heat in them. Chicken tenders were already cold. Burgers were both over cooked and not very well seasoned. We sent one plate back and it was returned to us less than 2 minutes later, marginally warmer than the first time and still extremely over cooked. The buns were somewhat dry and stale. Salads tasted good, but its salad. Would not recommend. There has to be a better place in Superior to eat. read more

Classic American burgers and fries with nice cold beer to wash it down. Started off with some fresh cheese curds and ordered burgers with the beer battered fries. I ordered mine dusted with Parmesan. Out of this world. New Glarus on tap. Good friendly place to refuel after time outdoors. read more

Food was some SOLID bar food! Service was fine, beers were good, ambiance was relaxed and sports bar-ish. They were playing some BOPS the whole time, lots of angsty early 2000s rock. Great place to catch up with a friend over a beer and some greasy burgers! read more

Don't DoorDash from here. They fuck it up EVERY TIME. Just spent way too much money on food to have the order come incomplete. Now I have to go pick up the rest, idiots. read more

Just finished a meal at 7West. We are driving through and stopped.for lunch. Highly recommend. My husband had SW chicken salad and I had the mango pork tacos (which were soooo good!). Nice place! Stop.by. read more

I love this place! Amazing food with flavor and an awesome beer selection! Alex the bartender/manager seems to always be there and he's got an amazing personality! Always friendly and helpful... I love that this place is not like every other bar in Douglas County, it has a distinct personality! #regular forever read more

This review is all about cheese curds. Fried cheese curds, to be specific. Two orders of fried cheese curds, because I already knew one would not be enough. I was of course correct. Two was about right because as stuffed full of cheese curds as I already was by the time I got here, when am I ever in Wisconsin? More curds. I'm sure beer, other food, etc. is all good. They were very quick with my order and they have a nice system to get to-go orders out the door. Very cool atmosphere inside. But I'm pretty sure if I ever come back to Superior, I will sit here, get my 5 orders of cheese curds, and enjoy some cheese and beer. I love Wisconsin. read more

Good prices, good variety of items, and good tasting food. I get the Taphouse burger every time. Something about that zesty sauce with the grilled onions. Also highly recommend their ciders! Great place to go with friends on a Friday night. read more

Could have been possibly the worst food I've had in a long while. The downside was that I was so hungry, I had to eat it. I ordered the one-eyed Jack burger. The extensive menu of burgers and tacos looked of that Midwest Plain vibe of 0 creativity. Most items were $8.99 or higher a la carte with 3.99 upgrade charge for fries. Nothing was special on the menu so I went with an odd pick of burger, egg, on a pretzel bun. I guess I assumed there would be other things, but no just a few pickles. I also ordered a side of cheese curds( I mean when in Wisconsin how could I not) right...wrong. The cheese curds were $7 and as tasty as Wisconsin Cow dingleberries. The largest curd the size of a nickel. Solid basket! When the burger came out, I could see immediately my hopes on even an average meal were short lived. Maybe it was road kill or maybe it was the cardboard taste of the pretzel. But the combo has me thinking I'd be better off eating a 1990's phone book. Thankfully they have a ton of beer which I didn't have, but their selections looked great, and I wish I drank for my caloric intake this evening. read more

My husband and I were visiting the Duluth-Superior area, and we chose to eat at 7 West TapHouse based on Yelp! reviews. The taphouse is in a historic dentist's office in the Tower Street district, and the tin ceiling and brick walls add to the inviting nature of the space. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, with only one waitress (Katie) on the floor. She was SUPER busy but very kind and helped us out a lot with the menu. When I wasn't sure about which beer to choose, she gave me a sample of one of the seasonal beers (Castle Danger Maple Marzen) and it was so yummy that I ordered a full glass! We started our meal with cheese curds, which were perfectly done: deep-fried but light without being greasy, still springy, and SO tasty!! The Taproom dipping sauce was a great blend, reminiscent of a thousand-island dressing. I had the cream cheese and green olive hamburger--what an interesting and tasty combination!--and a starter salad, and my husband had the #7 West OMG melt, which was delicious! It was a memorable meal in memorable surroundings, and we'll definitely be back to the TapHouse on our next trip to the area. read more

Food is alright, pretty pricy for the food quality you get. Wasn't horrible but I won't come back

Food is OK. We got an app and split a burger. Not bad, but not amazing. Good selection of local brews, as well. We'll be back.

If you're craving French fries or tater tots, you can stop trolling Yelp and just head directly here, because you have found the POTATO MECCA. They take their taters seriously here! Beer battered fries in any number of flavors, plus you can order like a dozen different dipping sauces. My husband and I joke that the one thing we missed during the pandemic was tater tots and French fries (but we're only half joking). And they have fish tacos (pro tip, get the sweet sauce on the side)! None of these are ever quite right when we make them at home. 7 West gets all these things right, and makes a killer wild rice veggie burger to boot. To top it off, we were able to order take out effortlessly and they gave us great fast service with zero errors. I only wish the stupid pandemic would chill out so we could taste some of the amazing beers they have on tap! I didn't get any pictures because it was TOO DELICIOUS, we scarfed it down in nanoseconds! read more

All of our meals were cold. (Chicken tenders, burgers, tots) Asked the server for hot fries and returned with the same cold fries.

This place is the best burger joint in town. It offers various patty substitutions like veggie burgers. I was really impressed by our waitress who memorized our entire order (which had some complicated additions), and the speed that our food came out was great! My only negative is that the fries cost extra. It's nice that the burgers are cheap enough that the price of the fries aren't too much of a hassle, but it's just a bit odd that you have to pay extra. Overall 7 West is a great restaurant in the Superior area, and I would definitely recommend it to others! read more

I travel all over the greater Midwest for work, and had heard good things about this place, so I thought I'd give it a try. I called in a to go order on 1/22 and picked it up at 4:30. Everything was ready and correct. I got a side salad which was good, Korean BBQ Pork tacos and fries with cheese queso sauces! I highly recommend getting Korean BBQ Pork tacos! Some of best I've ever had! The only thing I personally would change is to have the fries a little crispier. For me they were a little soggy. Overall great food, reasonably priced, good service and a clean establishment. read more

We love this place. Their burgers are delicious and cheap. All sorts of interesting combos. Great beer selection, always changing so you can try different ones every couple weeks. We declared the Wontons as the best appetizer in the Twin Ports. Gotta try them. Great atmosphere. read more

My favorite place to eat in superior! Friendly staff and great food! You cant beat their prices and quick service!

7 West TapHouse - a man and a dog dressed as santa claus - Burgers Near Me - Superior, Wisconsin

The reviews we read said "lots of beers" "clean bathrooms" & great food. Well 2 out of three were true. They do have a lot of different beers, and it is a nice clean place, but our food was terrible. Frozen burger patties, we had both a beef and turkey burger- yuk. Canned mushrooms and bland cheese. We ordered the fries with Parmesan seasoning- which means fries doused with that popcorn seasoning. Definitely not a good choice. Service was good. read more

Had a fun time stopping in this place for a few quick ice cold beers and an appitizer snacks with my family. The place was very busy, but a fun atmosphere. Maybe not the greatest choice if you have really young children. It was a little louder of a place, but it was also 6:30ish pm so during prime time dinner. Either way it was not a big deal to us.... We were just happy to be in a clean atmosphere, have a friendly server, with good smelling and looking food. I found this place as my family was passing through town. I based our stop off other reviews and we are glad we did. We were not dissapointed! I was very happy to see a very impressive and extensive beer menu. Lots of local choices to choose from. This was perfect for me not being from the area, to get an opportunity to try some of these local area favorites. The best part was they offered everything in flights so we could try a few more and not have to drink an entire pint. Food was tasty as well. Our kids got some cheese curds and mom and I shared some chicken tacos! Anytime I am back in this area I will be stopping here for sure! Thanks for a great 1st experience..... read more

If you are looking for a frozen burger right off the food service truck, this is for you. My burger was cold and dry, the bountiful mushrooms totaled about 8 pieces and the bun was stale. On a better note, the tots were very good. Service was OK. read more

Finished up a two week backpacking trip and was looking forward to a hot meal! The burger and fries were good- loved the different dipping sauce options. However, the service was upsetting. Very few full tables in the restaurant but still took 15+ minutes to bring part of my meal that she forgot about after delivering most of it. Received the check but no itemized bill - had to request and wait another 15+ minutes for that as well. Overall, decent stop but nothing to reroute a trip over! read more

Great service and food. Have a reward club which gives great deals. Will stop every time we can when we go back home.

Stopped here yesterday while in Town for work, we sat at the bar and was served by Alex. Our food was phenomenal and the service was some of the best I've had. Even the cook that brought out food over wad very personable and it all just made for a great dining experience. This place is a must it will consistently exceed your expectations! read more

My wife and I love going to 7 West. So glad to have a good burger and an awesome selection of local taps in Superior. Never disappointed with burgers, salads, or sides. Only complaint is that the size of the chicken tender order has decreased over time. I love the mystery beer! read more

So, 33 min later after the appetizers, waitress Kiana eventually brings my beer after asking her twice already and interrupting her conversations with a bunch of guys at the bar. Table next to us already on round 3. When i told her to cancel the beer, see replied that it's her now, so i insisted that I'll just have the water they brought out. Completely unacceptable. Rather drive to Duluth and get WAY better service. I'll never go back again. read more

Everything was cooked perfect to order. Burger was a very well made medium-rare and the sauce was fantastic. I have been here twice now and loom forward to my third trip. Jalapeno poppers were phenomenal, just a little bit of a crust on the jalapeno and properly prepared (No face melting heat here) A restaurant is built on good bacon, and they nailed it! read more

We wondered in on our way to the Hairball concert and we're surprised by the busyness on a Monday afternoon. The vibe is casual and the waitress was friendly and attentive. We orders burgers and fries/ house made chips and shared our selections. The winner was the house made chips flavored with sour cream and onion. Delish! Burgers were flavorful and left you wanting more. We had the avocado burger and the taphouse burger. Both delicious and full of fresh flavor. read more

Had lunch in Superior today with my wife. Had there California Burger, which was great . Wife and I shared there std. in house fries, which in my view leaves a lot to be made better. Not anywhere near top of the line for regular std. fries. Last, but not the only gripe, they have only iced coffee, not hot coffee. Being a coffee drinker, I find that a big letdown and it will effect choices in the future. Not offering hot coffee is a big deal to this guy. I might, but I doubt if I'll visit any of there beer halls in the future. read more
