They are friendly and seem to like that you are there. It's hard to find at other convenience stores. They know my name made sure I got their card so I could start saving immediately and they let you make your own drinks. I'm kind of fussy about that. It's always clean and well stocked. I will drive out of my way to go here. That's big when there are several options but I'm sticking by them.

Midday at the Jacksons, the shelves were well stocked, the bathrooms clean, and the cashier of good cheer. It seems to have a bigger selection than most (and at least rivaling Maverik). And the best part: So much booze they have a walk-in cooler filled with it (a majority, of course, beer). Usually one of the most important elements to the customer is the gas PRICES. Jackson's is in a joint venture with Chevron, and their fuel prices are in line with those in the area. So Jackson's is great if you want more than just gas on your next fuel up.

The prices here are really that bad either and the pumps all work fine. I like that the pumps are newer and take the credit cards all just fine, no multiple swipes jus tto get the card to take, like some of those super cheap no name gas stations where you think you might get your card data stolen or something. The inside is where this place stands apart. You need road food, this place has it and even has hot food options like bugers and stuff. We pulled in before we started our field work day and will probably be back to refill this gas guzzler. Later, as an older but still punk kid I remember stopping in here to buy gas quite often. That was before the craziness of Union Heights, and back when it was an older, run down Chevron. Nowadays, it's pretty slick. Still tiny--the convenience store has the basics and not much else--but it's a pretty gas station, if there is such a thing. Truthfully, I tend to avoid this place, even though it's super convenient when you're out shopping or seeing a movie. It's a price thing. And while I still remember when gas got over $1.00 for the first time, I don't think it's my association with the gas station of my youth. I really do think it's a little more expensive here. I mean, if we're nitpicking. Get your gas, see a movie, get a car wash. Sounds like a Saturday to me.
