The person behind the counter was patient and answered all our questions. The meat is top notch and the sausages and sundries are wonderful. We were given a few extras on recommendation given certain things we ordered. Now I have read some of the other reviews concerning the slaughter house services and have no experience with these services nor what to expect. But as a consumer of meats, and concerning the butcher services, what is offered, the friendliness of the staff, and the proximity to my new house, I don't foresee making use of the in-store meat department ever again.

I ended up receiving prime cuts from someone else's beef, that was only grained for maybe 1 month, my beef was grained out and marbled for 8 months and stolen from me by this place. I would not even give these thieves a 1 star recommendation. They are absolute thrieves and they provide very unprofessional services. I am contracting to deliver prime cuts to top notched Resaurants with high quality marbling, I know what the quality of my beef look like, this place is not worth doing any business with.

The waitress offered to let me talk to the chef and that was very helpful to be able to talk with him. He was really nice and very helpful! When I came to the restaurant I knew ahead of time what to order. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs but I substituted steamed vegetables for the meatballs. I don't eat meat, dairy, eggs or oils. How the chef prepared my food was so delicious and the vegetables were cooked just right and made just the way I wanted it. The chef also roasted my asparagus with no oil. The beet salad was also good but without the cheese or candied walnuts at my request. Next time I would just order the house salad that is cheaper. I brought my own dressing since all dressings have oil or dairy in them. It was so nice to go a restaurant that is so willing to accommodate my diet so well! I felt like they really cared enough to make it be such a pleasant experience for me and for my family. The chef made such a wonderful meal that we all really enjoyed! It took a little while to get our food and some of our party didn't have a lot of time to eat it before they had to leave early for an appointment. I felt that the prices for the food were a bit high but it was quality food so that is why it costs more. It is a fancier restaurant with a bar so they do serve alcoholic beverages. They only have canned sodas so they don't have a fountain beverage machine. It is not a family restaurant to bring young children to. The lighting is kind of dark and they use cloth napkins and tablecloths. It is a small restaurant and the tables are a little bit crowded together. It is not wheelchair assessable to get into the restaurant. There is about a 5 inch narrow step up in to the restaurant. That would be nice if they could change that step to a ramp for easier access if someone can't do a step or are in a wheelchair. The parking lot is in the back and there are just a few places to park in front of the restaurant. I took off one star because of the step into the restaurant and most parking is in the back so more walking to get there and no handicapped parking. I forgot to take pictures of my meal but it was very nicely done! I would probably come back in the future while I'm in Tooele.

She then said not available and we adked what some rolls were on her counter. Not for sale. Wow. My wife asked if the onions were white or red and was met with "white only" in a rude tone. Sandwiches were inexpensive at about $7.50 each but single slices of meat, cheese, lettuce, i guess the cost makes sense. I dont like writing bad reviews of mom & pop type establishments but i should have known when there were no reviews for years. I'd rather support some place like this over a big chain but not this one. Real let down.
