Went here for the Blueberry Festival! A lot of the event was super lively; people could shop from…read morevendors, pick blueberries, drink blueberry adjacent wines and beers, and have foods with a blueberry twist on them. Luckily there was a lot of outdoor seating, so it wasn't too difficult to find a seat. I ended up getting the sweet blueberry wine, blueberry flatbread (had caramelized onions, arugula, and prosciutto with a blueberries glaze drizzle), and the blueberry shortcake. The wine was lightly sweet and not dry. The blueberry flatbread tasted more of the caramelized onions and the blueberry drizzle added a little hint of sweetness and tartness. My favorite though was the blueberry shortcake. It was soft and the blueberry compote was absolutely delicious. Although it was rich, it didn't feel heavy. I wish I had gotten another slice. In general, I've been here before and it's nice and cozy inside with great service! I love trying all the flavors available with their wine and beer flights (some are seasonal). Honestly, sometimes I buy their wine by the bottle in stores because it's actually just that good.

Service was great and so was the food. I got the sangria and the wine burger. Hubs got the tacos. Love their French fries too! The crispiness and the seasoning on them is just plain good. The wine burger was delicious and probably my fav entree they have.

I've been remiss in reviewing Dade City Brew House, since it's as close to local as any breweries…read moreare going to get. It's good. Go there. Okay, fine, I'll expand on that. I don't think I've ever had a bad beer at DCBH, which is no small feat given the wide range of styles they do. I like pale ales, particularly hazy IPAs, and they've had great ones--but they also have great wheat beers, and porters, and sours. There's usually a kumquat beer on the menu. It's great, too. Really. The interior is spacious and well-lit, and on days that the weather permits, the roll-up doors to the patio and sometimes to 7th Avenue are open. It's a great place to hang around with a beer and write, and probably a great place to hang around with a beer and actually be social, if you're the type who does that. The service is always friendly, fast, and generally above and beyond. Worth special note: DCBH has always had a restaurant counter that's a separate business, and they've on (I think) their third one, Uncle Fatty's. They're really solid, delivering not only pub staples but sometimes surprising specials; it's some of the best food I've had at any brewery. They need to be open later on Thursdays. So: it's good. Go there.

I really struggled with how to rate this. I think I'm right at a 3.5. This is located in a plaza…read moreand is very cute inside. We went on a saturday night at 6pm and had reservations. We were seated promptly. It's very small and cozy inside. The chef comes out and greets you, he also helped us pick a wine which was very good and exactly what we were looking for. We started with the salumi e robiola ($45) which was the charcuterie. It was good, but nothing that blew me away and incredibly expensive. I understand that most everything is imported from Italy, but we definitely had sticker shock. We also started with cozze blu alla veneto (mussels - $27). These were very good and flavorful. We ordered two pastas to share and we got the caprese salad and a tomato and gouda soup as a starter. The caprese salad was literally five mozzarella pearls with some balsamic. The tomato and gouda soup was probably some of the best soup I've ever had. Rich, hearty, creamy. I can't say enough good things. The two pastas we got were the funghi misti trifolati ($49) and the salsiccia e peperoncino arrosto ($53). For some reason, and I feel like this has to be a fluke, the funghi pasta had almost no flavor. Not even earthiness from the mushrooms. I don't really know what happened there because even if I have issues with portion size or price, everything had great flavor, something was just off with this one. The salsiccia pasta was very very spicy. We added ricotta which was a good balance and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert we got basically a deconstructed cannoli. It was just okay. it was also their only dessert option. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Overall, the night had hits and misses. I think the prices don't really match what you get.

No more than 10 tables, ambiance could be worked on - dim the lights add some candles, soft seats. Greeted with a glass on sparkling to start the night. New server, but he is gonna be good. The chef won't recommend anything since it's all good - he changes it nightly. Artichoke app was really tasty paired with a crisp acidic white Lobster bisque - creamy, needs something to elevate Ragu - homemade semolina with beef, pork and veal meat sauce served with a crunchy soft flat bread- Steak- something special about these cows. It was $120, it was cooked MR (more med imo) Gorgonzola atop Tiramisu was deconstructed crisp texture not soft and creamy - port to pair Only disappointment was for no 'extra' accoutrements at any point during the meal. Simple well cooked meal. Hubs was most excited to return to try the pizza
