The woman who works there is lazy and rude. I've lived in the area off and on for 55 years and these are the worst owners this store has ever had. She would rather stock items than to.stop and ring you up. Today an on line order was more important than 3 customers is line. When I said something to her she had an attitude and tried to.play some guilt trip on me with the customer in front of me. I keep telling myself not to go there and every time I do i realize why I say that. Took my money down to the Corral market tonight. Hope I winn the lotto and they will get the retailer money. The man I think is the owner is very rude. He was speaking in a language I did not understand. He only used one bag which broke and told me he would have to charge me for more bags. Like how someone treats service staff, I've found a great way of judging a retailer's ethics is by how they interact with their vendors/suppliers. The franchisees of this location are pretty terrible with theirs. I say this as a customer; there have been a few times I've stopped in and observed one of the older man or woman being rude and condescending to delivery or sales guys then immediately turn around and switch up their tone with me, like I'm oblivious to their behavior. The Indian lady has no business being behind the counter. She has poor customer service. One day she can be singing in a good mood, the next day on her cell phone completely distracted. The last time I went in, she was on her cell while on the register. I was buying two 5 hour energy drinks that was on special 2/$5. She proceeded to argue with me that they were 2/$6. I told her to look at her sign but she refused and continued arguing with me while the line of guys waiting to get propane continued growing. I finally told her I was finished arguing with her over a dollar and left absolutely furious. I have several good memories at this 711. Ever since I went to elementary school a lot of my friends lived in Toro Park, we'd stop by this 711 to grab snacks like Big League Chew, Sunflower seeds and those gum pieces they sell by the piece you know the ones that came wrapped individually grape, apple and original kind of hard to find these days except for the Dubble Bubble kind... I think the brand was Super Bubble and they were longer than the Dubble Bubble kind. Oh and Slurpees galore here... sometimes we'd stop before Softball games too. I was on the Angels for a year and then I stuck to what I was better at tennis. read more

The woman was standing behind the counter on her personal cell phone while I was trying to process a transaction with my debit card, she wasn't able to help me due to the fact that I was on her time. She stood on her personal phone call for 3 min until I finally walked out. I visited the establishment 5/5/15 at 7:30pm. This 7-11 has a great staff with the exception of a guy that wouldn't sell me tobacco despite knowing I was well above the legal age simply because when he swiped my expired license (hospital recently lost my wallet) it was invalid. Well no shit, it is expired. I thought he would use his brain and look at the date, do some basic math and it would be done. But nope, refused to sell to me and then when my older brother offered to make the purchase with his ID, he still refused. I had the worst customer experience of my life at this store! I've been stopping at this store for over two years since is on my way home. The older Indian man who works there has never acknowledged me ever in two years but I didn't take it personally, until today when the gas pump didn't work so I had to pay upfront. No problem there but i get back to the pump and there's no money added to it. I went to talk to the attendant and omg ! He didn't even try to explain to me what was going on and told me I needed to pay again ... so I did and had the same issue. This happen one more time and I was already getting frustrated, since this very unhappy man does not want to take the time to explain what is going on! Since he couldn't bother to talk to me he just told me to GTFO like if I were a stray dog being push put of the store. Seriously, I hope that if that man reads this, he can realize what a negative impact he's having on/with people. Bottom line is I lost 25 mins that morning and he lost my whole family as customers. It was my first time coming here and it was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I work in management in retail and I'm all about customer service. I payed $30 and the pumped only $29.03 so I went back to get my change and an older man told me the pump was close and couldn't give me my change, I didn't understand that part so asked him if I could give that change for somebody else to pump in back of me or for him to give me something for that amount,, I was agitated with his attitude and would of let it go but he was so rude. He started screaming he wasn't going to give me the money because the pump was closed!! FOR GOODNESS SAKE!! This is the United States of America!! He called me an asshole and told me to never go back into his store. I would not go back even if he paid me.
