I hope I am reviewing the correct 7-Eleven. As this is the closest 7-Eleven that I saw to Playa de Carmen.
The 7-Eleven that I am reviewing is right across from the Museo. A nice refreshing drink after walking through the Museo is a good idea.
In unfamiliar territory, a 7-Eleven! Score!!!!!
I found some things that were similar to the American 7-Eleven although even similar products were in Spanish. There was a slurpee machine with two flavors - cherry and cola. I know most reviews said there wasn't a slurpee machine in most 7-Eleven stores in Mexico.
Although my resort had no straws, I was happy that the slurpee machine had straws nearby. Also, this 7-Eleven is very near the hotels and much more affordable.
They did have cooked food, but I opted not to try. They had soda's such as coca cola, sprite, and fanta. I wanted juice but they only had Mexican juice and was limited to apple and orange. I wanted cranberry. Bottled water was crisp and fresh, so I opted to get a few of those. Although the hotel had bottled water, I just felt better about this water.
Munchies were a no. I trecked down the candy aisle and saw m&m's and such.
