This is a very large liquor store located in the Hotel Zone in Cancun. They have almost every wine…read moreor spirit you can think of, and their prices are reasonable. They have many sales associates on the floor to help you find something. They also have a delicatessen that sells up-market cold cuts and cheeses to accompany your wine purchase. If you're in the market for a tequila or Mescal to bring home as a souvenir, they have one for every budget. This place is definitely worth a stop if you want to have a drink at your hotel and don't want to stay at the bar.
Like others have said, this is a nice liquor store in a BevMo kind of way. While it is nice that it…read moreis so open, bright and clean and very modern looking and it has plenty of options, it is failing in the tequila department. Perhaps they should take a look at the duty free liquor store at the Cancun airport to get a clue? Like most liquor and grocery stores in Cancun, they have a good supply of inferior tequila to try to take advantage of the tourists, why not offer a little more quality. Perhaps some Casa Noble anejo single barrow or an El Tosoro Anniversario? The number of Americans with good knowledge of high quality tequilas is rapidly growing and they should be taking full advantage. You are in Mexico La Europea, take advantage of your situation. Make a name for yourself. You should probably start by finding someone to run the tequila department that has a love for high quality tequila and send them to the tequila district to gain firsthand knowledge and to get to know the owners of the distilleries. Take a trip to La Cata while you are there and see how it is really done. Your liquor store is beautiful in appearance; make it beautiful in selection as well.

We shopped at the Duty Free liquor shop (Prolongación Bosques de la Reforma 1813) and I am sending a warning to all customers who cruise to this Cozumel port. Buyer beware! Nice sales team, but they failed to deliver my purchased coconut mezcal bottle back to the cruise ship. They asked for my cabin number and their sales team confirmed the ship name and cabin. They gave me a ticket with my receipt. Fortunately, my bank dispute was successful, and I got my money back (thanks FDIC), but save your hassle and beware of this scam. They let your purchase, but this business will not deliver your purchased goods to the ship. Save your money or demand that you bring back your purchases. If not, you risk not getting your purchased items.

Empanadas para llevar! Order them and take them back to your place…read more There are maybe 2 or 3 tables to sit and eat there, but mainly this is not really a full service restaurant. It's more like a food truck, but inside a small shop. The employees are very friendly. We ordered 7 total, paid 20 pesos per empanada, and the wait was approximately 15 minutes. We couldn't tie out bikes back to our place fast enough before eating all of the tasty empanadas. 7 was plenty for two of us.

As far as the airlines go read the rules on airlines and what's allowed to be brought back to your state. I will admit the first time we went there we definitely got hustled but to us it still was worth it in a sense because we could find this stuff anywhere else. This time we negotiated and probably still overpaid a little but again we found something new we liked, got a couple of old favorites as well. This place is great if you know what you are doing we sampled close to 20-25 tequilas this time and we could have sampled 30 more and they would have been more than happy.

Originally they charged me 7000 pesos which is more that $400 dollars and when confronted they canceled the first transaction and charged me in US dollars... $370. I am disputing this charge as the seller straight up lied. I had to get my carry on bag checked in and pay an extra fee because the bottles exceeded the size. I am also submitting a complaint With the catamaran Sailing company.
