Bright lighting inside and it obviously received a fresh makeover from the 7 Eleven store. One thing I really liked was they had a restroom for customer use (and it was fairly clean). All too often, 7 Elevens don't allow customers to use their facilities. If you're on the road often, it definitely makes for an inconvenience when that happens. There's a BP Gas Station connected to it with plenty of available pumps. Prices were on par with other stations in the area.

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered hotdogs and lobster rolls. We did have to wait a while for the lobster rolls because the last batch was finished, which was fine with us because we knew we were going to get a fresh batch. They pack so much lobster in the roll and the butter on top was delicious. For the hotdogs we got the combo and it came with two, chips and water 5bucks. While worth it. The vibe was chill; felt like a bbq . Would definitely go back on the weekends for this treat!

I like how spacious the Farmingdale location is, even on a weekend. If you get the app, you get a free ice cream cone for every $100 spent. Easy to reach that if you're buying any meat or seafood here. And a bonus surprise--I found the butter-dipped soft serve available here, so I got to try that.

I have been a sporadic customer in the last 3. I call them old and dear friends now. I have known these employees( some) since 2018 and when I walked in 20 days ago and saw the terrific Teresa by the produce section, we caught up on our families and life as she was putting out the salads. Gigi ( the G pronounced like in Give) was 15 feet away and I got a big hug and we talked about working out and our diets. Steve spotted me with Gigi and came over and wished me. There are smiles everywhere and a fun atmosphere as the new employees saw this and fed off the energy and the tone. My namesake Ray also hugged me and asked about my Mom. Elena the Manager is the absolute best - she personally catered( from her pocket) a meal for homeless Veterans in NY in 2023. The products are amazing- yes. The variety and quality is tremendous We all know that. The prices are awesome. The managers and team in this store are the X factor and any newbie dropped into this environment of Veteran employees in the para above are going to rise to the top. I love that they keep moving the greeting card rack. Love that sampling is back.( waiting for the coffee). Love bringing in my out of state TJ bags and entering the $25 raffle. Their avocados are the best. The flowers last. So does their love and care- it stays!

Maybe not quite 5 stars,, but I felt it so unfair to read silly one star reviews cause of the price of apples or a possible isolated unsanitary event of an employee. Let's talk about the food and the shopping ambiance.. Today they had a singer, dressed like he was a guest at a wedding, singing old Italian favorites.Who does that? Otherwise unfriendly people, could be seen with a scowl walking in stressed out from the storm,, were noticed smiling, whistling, and juggling 2 oranges two aisles later! As far as the food,, I don't remember ever having a bad item.. Even split a slice of regular pizza with my wife, just a taste test; I was stunned that it was better than all but a few pizzerias on the island. Even the sushi dept is fairly authentic. The Italian prepared dishes are all delicious and the variety is insane.. The deli was endless, with creations that were mouth watering. The fresh pasta, sauces, meats, and cheeses are incredible, and my personal favs. You can't even go past the bakery, as the choices and tastes are eye popping.. The staff are some of the nicest people I've met in retail.. I mean,, what's left to say? Are they the cheapest game in town? No, not really,, but in this case you really do get what you pay for.. To stay sane,, I really can't use the word "expensive" anymore. With home heating oil grazing $6 and our last Chinese take out for two, at $45; you're going to have to deal with it or maybe spend more time clipping coupons.
