I lived in that area from mid 90's to 2005. I could only speak on my experience from that period. I had horrible interactions with the owner of that particular 7/11. The guy was a middle age Persian guy with creepy bulging eyes, very snooty. I think he was racist. He always looked down at me. I remember once going to a job interview, wearing slacks, a dress shirt & a tie. The guy looks at me & asked where are you going come on you can tell me. He was suggesting that I was going to court or something. He always harassed me. The only reason I went there was that it was close to my home & too young to realize I should stay away. I went for coffee on 10/03/2023 and the employee was on the phone and preparing the ignored me 5 times when I was asking if any coffee was ready. When he finally paid me any attention he did tell me which one would be ready but while I was waiting near it he asked that I stand farther away from it and him. he was so rude and did not seem to have any respect for his customer or his job. This is the 1st review I have ever written. I got my coffee and smokes and went home feeling like I was miss treated. They let homeless people hang out by the store. That's a major issue. Other than that it's pretty chill. Come there every now and then. Good prices good deals. 5$ pizza is the best you can find out there. 1$ coffee any size is amazing ! Appreciate this convenience store! read more

There is this oddly new "worker" , probably in his 40s, really ugly and kind of chubby. Yells at me to hurry up every time I'm in there. Extremely rude and obnoxious. Does not even acknowledge your questions or to even look at you as you speak.. He should be fired! This morning he asked me to leave my purse in the front of the store until I am done shopping? The worst 7-eleven I've ever been to. Should be zero stars. Cashiers are extremely rude. I will never spend money there again. Cashier didn't understand what I was asking and became aggravated and refused to speak or help me, then asked me to leave. I was just trying to verify if an item behind the counter matched the item photo advertised on the front door. He wouldn't even show me the box, unless I was will to purchase it. They didn't even want to give me straw and sugar the previous day after I purchase soda and coffee. read more

This 7/11 is the best. I come here often since I work really close by. The women who work here are so nice and friendly.

As bad as it can go in a typical 7/11store. Slurpee crap spilled by some crazy near-homeless lady makes the place biohazard, while staff does not pay attention. The cigarette shelves behind the counter are ransacked and empty. The funniest thing was to watch an elderly Indian customer demanding crap from an elderly Indian cashier. Been coming here all my life. Cashiers are from Asia. They speak limited English. They are extremely passive. Yet, they do their best to provide customer service that is somewhat adequate. Anyways, it's a 7-Eleven in the hood. Don't expect happy smiles. You're in and out. read more

Went inside this 7-Eleven to buy a 6pack of Dos Equis XX but the 6pack only had 5 pieces I brought it to the cashier and told her , this Indian lady acted so rude. Wanted to charge me as if it was full pack. I had occasions like this one and they were cool and would actually give me discount for coming incomplete 6pack. This lady responded with a loud voice while I'm trying to be nice to her. Totally over price. Other 7-Elevens sale their coffees for $1 this one is $1.99. Bad customer service. read more

This review is for the 7-11 at 7568 Lankershim Blvd (x Saticoy): This, hands down, the WORST 7-11 I've been to (ANYWHERE, frankly...and I've lived all over)! It's usually pretty filthy, stock is always laying around not put away, half the time the soda machine "doesn't work" (transl: the staff is too lazy to refill certain items in the fountain dispenser). Worst of all are the two guys that run the place in the evening. One, typically in a yellow Hindu-style turban, isn't so bad, but the other guy (bulging eyes, pretty fat, wears a silly beanie all the time) lies a lot, treats the customers like crap, and actually rips off peoples' money! He rang up my purchase, came to $2.88, I gave him a $5 bill, he quickly deposited it into the register and yelled "Next person in line!" I waited for my change, and he feigned "forgetting" my change. I then hovered around and watched him do this to two other people, one a short African-American woman who apparently gave him a $20 bill and went ballistic when he tried telling her she only gave him a $10 bill. She demanded her proper change, and he just ignored her, mumbling "file a complaint" before ducking into the back room (she never did get her change). The one in the turban seems to cover up for the bulging-eyes one, but looks kind of uncomfortable about it... he must be the senior man, maybe they're related... looking at other people's reviews of this store, there's GOTTA be a reason why Bulgy Eyes hasn't been fired yet! read more
