They only have 6 pumps I believe, and they are positioned fairly close together. Essentially, if someone pulls up with a boat, they can block almost an entire side of the pumps. The inside has the typical convenient store stuff. I mostly see people there getting lottery tickets and beer. The air pump is fairly nasty and I dont like getting charged for compressed air. Take your car to Wawa if you need to put air in your tires. It is free there. It can also be tough pulling out of the station since it is located on a corner lot and there is a bad intersection there. Be careful.

But now i literally stand there waiting for someone to even look my way or at least say i will be right with you. Nope!! They ignore you rudely and do not care!! How is it 3 or 4 people in one area and no one offers assistance or even looks up from what they're doing... I stopped getting my deli stuff from here because this happens every time now.. I am not gonna beg for some sliced turkey or cheese just to have you roll your eyes while angrily slicing my meat... That's a problem ! I don't know what's changed but its not that friendly neighborhood market vibe anymore.. Hopefully things change or I'll have to drive a little further to do my shopping... No farm stand or supermarket has anything that compares. I eat them like I did in Mississippi as a child, cut off the core and in pieces with milk (now oat milk & sweetener. There is no working hard to get the fruit off the core. Slice around the perimeter and just pull the sides apart, leaving only the core and no residue. They are absolutely perfect. Among my purchases was the Costco sized box of the Premier Protein Pancakes that I'm eating on my high protein diet. They come to packs of three and are soft, fluffy & yummy. Included in my food tracking is the 16g of protein that each serving of 3 provides. The final purchase today was one of their store prepared Kirkland Signature entrees. I thought my voice might have improved enough to eat out tonight. But I still have to strain and don't want to risk the progress. Costco's CHICKEN ALFREDO is prepared using their rotisserie chicken. It is made the perfect meal by adding frozen green peas, which make for a balanced meal. Delivery is especially beneficial. Thank you Costco for being my "go to" for some of my favorite foods.

However, there are more negative than positive and this is not a station I frequent. First of all why does yelp refuse to change the name. It's not Racetrac, it's Raceway. When asking yelp to change they reviewed it and left it the same. So if your looking for Racetrac you will not find it. So there are two listings, same address and my reviews identical. There is often debris in the area, not significant, but enough. The clientele at this fueling station would rather throw down trash by the pumps then put it in the can...go figure. The pump I most recently used had a missing enter button. That is an issue when it is required for a response to hit "enter" and your unsure where it is. I also like to use AMEX and they do not accept it. What is more frustrating is they do not have signs saying what they do accept. So when it said see the attendant I had no idea why. The attendant was with a customer and talking on his wireless head piece. I would not have been happy if I was that customer. He informed me NO AMEX. If I'm in the area okay if I must. But I will not go out of my way.

I went into the store and purchased $45.00 worth of premium gas a bag of chips. I went in instead of paying at the pump because my debit card and bank account was hacked 2 weeks ago. The night before this incident, the last time my card was used was me purchasing gas at the pump. I completed my purchase, walked to the passenger side of my truck, which will automatically unlock as long as my key is on me. The truck unlocked, I put my purse and my chips on the seat and closed the door. Little did I know, I had just locked myself out of the truck. I finished pumping my gas, walked back in and asked the lady behind the counter, if I could use the phone as I had just locked myself out of my vehicle. She did "Not" hesitate to hand me the store phone, I called my husband to bring the spare key....no problem!!! She even allowed me to stay inside the store because it is in the lower 50's and it's cold outside. She was very nice and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart! So you may be asking what the problem is.......I decided to walk outside and wait on my husband, I had been waiting on my husband for over an hour. My hubby did tell me that he was just leaving the hardware store and needed to go home first to retrieve the key to my vehicle. I walked back into the store and asked one of the two men that was standing behind the counter if I could use the phone? The first one said no and then he asked the other one if I could use phone and he said no! I explained to him the situation and also told him that the lady who was previously here had allowed me to use the phone, he still said no because it would cost the store for me to make a local phone call! A young man who works for Fed Ex over heard the conversation, I turned around and asked him if I could use his phone and he said no problem mam and gave me his phone! I called my husband and he showed up 5 minutes later. By this time I was furious! So, I can patronize your business but you could not help me, a women, by myself, all of my belongings locked up in the truck and you couldn't patronize me enough to let me make a phone call! I will "Never" patronize this Raceway again!!! I'm so done! Thank God my life wasn't in jeopardy! I am so sad that in this day and time that we can't be here to help one another in a time of need! When I was still working Sam's Club was my warehouse of choice. Shopping there at least once and…read moreweek and purchasing all my fuel there, it felt familiar and comfortable. I knew where everything was located. I bought all my eyeglasses in their vision department. They had great prices, frames and service. Since I've been retired I've kept my card but do much less shopping there because of the distance versus a rival warehouse store. There are items that Sam's carries that I can't find anywhere else. Their low calorie fudge bars are amazing. Fruits are excellent as are the large containers of thin sliced deli meats. They're perfect on Sam's rolls that come in large bags and stay fresh long periods of time if kept in the refrigerator. Heated a few seconds in the microwave before use they taste as fresh as when bought. The two items are perfect together as ham or roast beef rolls for holidays. Don't forget about the warehouse size bags of Sister Schubert frozen yeast rolls. It never hurts to browse the clothing and books. In fact, browsing the entire store might turn up items that are newly stocked. The location is on the southeast corner of S Plaza Trail facing Virginia Beach Boulevard. If you continue across the Boulevard , S Plaza becomes Little Neck Road. Fill up with gas and you're on your way. Thank you Sam's for all the decades of convenience in purchasing.

I was glad it wasn't overly packed like it can be sometimes in there. They had some ham and cheese croissants for breakfast that looked good, some new dips and whatnot. The take and bake section was looking a little skimpy, so I guess we came to late. There weren't any samples either, so I'm not sure if they don't do that on the weekends. I've been waiting to get a card because their normally out, so fortunately they had some this time. The customer service representative was nice. I'm so glad no cell phone salespeople stalked me through the aisles like last time. Lol. It was pretty peaceful without that. There were a few meats that were on clearance and the veggies and salads were reasonably priced. There were a few new things that caught my eye. The deep dish pizza looked good. If my freezer wasn't so full I would have gotten it... The self checkout is pretty simple. If you're paying with cash you will have to go to a different register for a cashier to check you out. They also have rewards you can earn which I wasn't aware of. I was tempted to get a slice of pizza when we left ,but I was a good girl today. Lol. There was a little line, so I passed. The lady at the door checking receipts was really nice! Very upbeat and smiling! Check them out!!
