I've used that strategy my entire life, even into my Senior Citizen years. When we began the very short drive to the airport my car indicated I had 46 miles till empty. This wasn't optimal. But it was plenty for the airport trip & getting gas on a day with better weather. Much to my dismay it quickly dropped into the 20's. Having worked for Texaco (now Chevron) for a number years after graduating from undergraduate school, I was certain the 20'ish reading was correct & could go down further. One of my department rotations at Texaco was the State Gasoline Tax Department, each of which charged taxes in a different method. One of my states was calculated by the change in the main tanks in relation to the amount that had come into the state via the pipeline. Temperature variations played a complicated calculation because of the contraction & expansion caused by temperature. My son had enough time for us to make a detour to Military Highway for a fill up, I knew the price would probably be high because of the proximity to the airport & the rental car locations. Not so!! The Shell not only had a convenient location but a great price. The cost per gallon was much lower than other stations. And I was safely able to get home in bad weather. Shell, you have made me a believer. I'll return when in the Military Highway area.

The ambulance had left by the time I got back in my car. Inside, there were ample snack options but not many sweets like little Debbie cakes. The prices of the snack items were ridiculous! Nonetheless, I'm GLAD every single thing was labeled. I greatly dislike stores with no prices. I ended up getting a brisk and a bag of donuts. It was $5. I observed an extensive selection of wines, sodas, and fountain drinks. The had slurpies as well. They had an ATM, coffee station, "fresh" donuts, hot dog station, and a quick eats station. They are open 24/7, which is always a plus! Staff were friendly and the store was clean. No real complaints.

Nope, so forced to get the one I ran out of. They said computers down Friday, website still said "processing", I got desperate in pain, itching and I called Sunday, and it was still not ready and the pharmacist said it'll be ready Tuesday.
