a display of hotdogs and other foods

One of my many regular stops during my undergrad years. I came here to grab a soda or a quick snack on my way to some random place in LA. The staff here knows me on a first name basis. One thing that separates this 7-Eleven from others is the fact that they carry a wise assortment of hard liquor, including Patron. This comes in handy when I'm on my way to a house party and want to contribute to the stash. They also have the typical fare, including hot dogs, drinks of all kinds, chips, candy bars, etc. Parking is a small lot in front, and can get full during rush hour. I recommend coming here either early morning or late evening, as there are many people coming in the middle of the day and parking might take a while. You sometimes get weirdos loitering outside the building, but this is West LA, and LAPD will be on their case quick.

Love this!!

711 that I've been coming since 2003 when I moved to Westwood. Today I wanna review this joint for the first time out of these 12 years of coming here!lol 3 stars considering busy parking lot, some people always park in 711 parking lot and walk to restaurants close by, making it hard for customers to park. And this is one of the few locations that doesn't have hot food other than hotdogs! Pizza, Jamaican patty, wings, mini tacos, so forth...that other 711 have! Maybe the owner is not willing to pay for the equipment? I don't know... But workers are always nice and friendly! That adds 0.5 stars on top, 3.5 stars overall!

Molded bread...

Don't go here, got a hot dog....mold bread...so gross, was so excited for this and one bite and I knew..

Stopping for beverages.

“Love this 7 eleven for the simple reason that they sell liquor (minis and full size bottles) also lots of wine options.”

This is a difficult CVS to review as there is a lot of shenanigans from the unhoused just outside…read morethe door. But it's a good CVS, the employees are nice and helpful. This one is good if you're staying in the area or need something in a pinch.

I'm sure they have been through a lot at this location, which I definitely take into consideration, but I don't think that means that low quality customer treatment is now acceptable (across multiple visits). I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

I come there to work from my iPad frequently and one day, I needed to take a ZOOM call. The ONE umbrella was taken so I pulled a chair over into a shaded area. The security guard came over to tell me that I was not allowed to pull a chair into the area and that I had to put it back. He did this as my ZOOM call was starting so I hurriedly got up to move and my iPad fell and cracked. I stopped coming as much for awhile because I have seen other people move their chairs to find more shade in the past. Well PLEASE explain why I am here right now and this Asian man is not only allowed to move one chair into that same area but they HELPED him move several chairs and a TABLE to sit in the area that I was asked to move from. I have seen him here on several occasions and maybe he has closer ties? Who knows? What I do know is that what is good for the goose should be good enough for the gander. So if this area is prohibited to sit in, that should be applied to EVERYONE. And then when I tried to address with the woman who works in the office, she snapped at me after I asked if I could ask her a question. Her exact words: "About WHAT??" Once she led with that energy, I asked was she an employee (I have already been told in the past that she is) and she replied, "No, I don't work here." SO i left her alone even after she tried to clean it up by asking if I wanted to speak with the other security guards. I walked away and sat down to write this. But I also asked the security guard (DAVID) who originally told me that I could not pull a chair into the area why it was okay for the person that is sitting there now and he told me that it is because they are employees. He told ME that that are could not be blocked by the ONE chair that I pulled over into a CORNER but they have a whole table and several chairs set up as I type this. The woman who swears she is not an employee (SHE IS) came over to me trying to ask what I needed and I told her I was good and that I was leaving. She said, "Well you're complaining so..." and I cut her right TF off and told her that I was not COMPLAINING; I was asking a VALID question. She then starts talking sh*t telling me that I come there all the time to sit in the courtyard while purchasing nothing. MIND YOU, the local businesses at this location know me by name and/or face (Escala, Silverlake Ramen, Cap't Loui, Starbucks, etc...). This is also a place where transient/unhoused individuals come all the time to sit and rest so imagine saying something so insensitive not knowing what the situation may be. It is a public area and nobody is OBLIGATED to purchase anything. But I DO on a WEEKLY basis so perhaps Miss Girl can get her facts straight. But it's okay. I will be contacting management asap.
