Only 3 of the 8 gas pumps consistently work. Good luck figuring out which. Gas up somewhere else.

It's a pretty big cafe with big tables for a group of friends or large families. It seems to be a place for all age groups as I saw kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults. They had "How to Train your Dragon" the live action playing while I was there which is a bonus in my book. They also had some arcade games, board games, and lots of chess boards. Relaxed seating area and everything is a bit mismatched, but that just adds to the vibe. The bathrooms are STUNNING. I've never been to a cafe with a bathroom that fancy whoa. The service was very friendly, gave us recommendations based on the popular items ppl get. I got the velvet amber half decaf and my partner got the cinnamon toast latte. Both were great. They also serve Kava, Teas, mushroom gummies, and additives you can add to your drink. They also offer CBD consultation. Overall, I will be coming back to battle some of my friends in chess and do my study dates there.

As a former corporate pastry chef for Hyatt Hotels for almost22 years and the owner of my own…read morefamily bakery and restaurant for 17 years, I know how hard this business is, and I rarely leave negative reviews. The disappointment began before we even walked through the front door. The entire entrance looked more like a junkyard than a tea room: oversized plastic chess pieces, random wood on the wall where a sign had been removed, dark staining that looked neglected, broken flower pots, old rusted garden furniture. My wife and I almost turned around. Had we been paying that day, we likely would have left. But we had a gift certificate, so we gave it a chance. What concerned me even more was the safety. The steps were in poor condition, and the handrail was extremely loose, moving several inches side to side. As someone with a disability, that felt unsafe. Accessibility should be basic. Inside, the owner and our server were kind and welcoming, and I genuinely appreciated that. But both teapots had been placed on the table before we were seated, and my tea was already cold. I had to ask for hot water just to have a proper cup, which I wouldn't expect from an afternoon tea. The biggest disappointment was the food. At forty five dollars per person, ninety for two, I expected quality and attention to detail. Instead, the sandwiches and pastries were among the poorest I've ever been served. I could only manage a couple of small sandwiches and one dessert before giving up. What surprised me most after our visit was reading the five-star reviews. Based on our experience, it is difficult for me to understand how this place earns that level of praise. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. The staff was kind, but kindness can't overcome serious maintenance and quality issues. Sadly, I can't recommend it in its current state Update Thank you for responding We were celebrating my wife and I our retirement and chose not to create an awkward moment. Thankfully it was close by, we didn't have to go all the way into Tampa to find a great tea experience. Affordable too!! The settings are all fine china from England. You get 2 teas. An English breakfast black tea and a caffeine free herbal tea. Sugar and honey to complement. You do get a few courses as well. Soup and scone to start off. Then a tower of sweets and savory sandwiches. The cucumber sandwich was so good. I LOVED the soup and scones. Everything is homemade, amazing! The service was so friendly and nice. Our server poured our teas and explained everything we were getting. It was very relaxed and no rush. It was a great experience and we definitely left full! I would love to come back here again soon. Only note of improvement I think the outside could be cleaned up some. Thank you!

We drove over an hour from Pinellas County because of the glowing reviews, and it ended up being…read moreone of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had. We were traveling with an elderly disabled family member who uses a mobility scooter. Although there were designated accessible parking spaces, the ramp leading into the building was so narrow that her scooter couldn't safely use it. Once inside, both the retail store and the restaurant had aisles that were too narrow for the scooter to navigate. As a result, she had to leave the scooter behind and painfully walk with a cane, which left her exhausted before we were even seated. The retail store itself was packed so tightly with merchandise that it felt more like navigating an obstacle course than shopping. Much of the merchandise was gift-shop fare at prices that seemed difficult to justify. The restaurant appeared disorganized from the moment we checked in. We watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did, including a party of two being seated at a table that could accommodate eight guests. Meanwhile, our elderly disabled relative was told she could wait in a chair next to the restroom. When we were finally called, we were seated at a table at the very back of the restaurant, requiring yet another long and painful walk for our relative. After looking over the menu, we found the prices surprisingly high for the offerings, and there wasn't enough that appealed to our group to justify staying. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering. After driving more than an hour based on the restaurant's reputation, the combination of poor accessibility, disorganized seating, and a menu that didn't provide good value made the trip feel like a complete waste of time. We ended up driving into Plant City instead, where we found a welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a much better overall experience.

It has a huge wine and liquor menu and the food menu is set offerings which cover lunch and dinner (dinner reservations highly recommended). Food was good not a wow but good. Blue cheese chips with tomato and a balsamic glaze, prime rib sandwich and a burger bowl, yes there is a burger under that pile of arugula. Brought dessert home from their mini bakery to enjoy later. The background music was just a nice volume so as to not overwhelm the table. If you go try to not let them seat you at the furthest back table against the wall in the side dining room. Definitely a turn off given the open vibe of the other dining areas which had openings.

But then, they kept luring me in with their unique twists of Asian inspired mocktails featuring their premium espresso blends and Naga teas. Now, they have a menu of favorites based off of their customer's preferences as well as an assortment of seasonal cookies and buns from Ngot Baked Goods and Le Moment Patisserie. I discover something new every time. It's become my favorite guilty pleasure when craving boba, coffee, or sweets. My favorites so far are the Pandan Caramel (coffee or tea version), Midnight Taro Storm, Cloud 9, Mango Matcha, Daydream Lychee Espresso, and Mocha Eclipse. I haven't seen the latter one in awhile, and that may be because Black Sesame isn't as popular around here. I can only hope that they bring back more of it. What do I miss from Naga? The croffles!! I've tried them at other places, and they're just not as good as the ones I had at this location. Duo Café keeps changing things up, so maybe it will happen again one day. I also wish for better lids on their boba tea drinks. You can no longer shake them. It has to be stirred in order to mix up the components of the drink. Other than that, it's still one of my favorite places to visit in the Brandon/Valrico area. The service is always great. The drinks are perfect every time. It also happens to be dangerously close to me and way too convenient for that quick stop on the way home. It's a great concept that shouldn't be missed when visiting Valrico.

Naida makes some tasty Cuban sandwiches here for a good price. The star of the sandwich is Naida's roast pork. It's well seasoned and it totally makes this sandwich shine. I usually get it with everything, but I keep forgetting that they'll include onions if you ask for it "all the way." It's good with or without it, but I prefer it without. Just keep that in mind and be specific if you don't want onions on your sandwich. Naida also makes the best café con leche. I sometimes go there just for Cuban toast and that awesome coffee. It gives me energy! They have a small hot bar area of daily offerings with some kind of rice and beans. It may change daily. I haven't ordered a platter, but I will one day. They do have a tasty arroz con salchichas side item. My mom used to make it sometimes with those little canned Vienna sausages. Yeah, it's a comfort thing for me. They also make wonderful breakfast sandwiches and ham croquettes. El Cuba Cafe is hidden inside of a Circle K convenience store on Bell Shoals Road. It's directly across the street from Publix at Bloomingdale Square. I know it has Cuba in the name, but their is a lot of Puerto Rican representation here. That may also be why I'm so fond of it. It's also super convenient, and the service is great. I usually drive in the back way to avoid all the construction nearby. There's no dining area. You just order your meal and take it with you. It's a no frills kind of place. A real hidden gem!
