This place was well laid out, spacious and very clean. The high ceilings definitely add ambiance and a local elegance, sort of. And a lot less than Broward or Dade counties at the time. The only strange thing was that quite a few pumps were bagged with yellow covers. Either they'd run out of gas from the holiday traffic or because of the holidays they had not gotten their regular supplies. Luckily, there were enough other pumps open and available so that we didn't have to wait in line.

Traveling across what has been described as "the most dangerous highway in America" and what I…read moredescribes as one of the most boring drives it important to stay alert, the traffic is usually horrendous and there are some very aggressive drivers between Tampa and Orlando. I usually like to have something heavenly caffeinated in my cup holders before starting out in either direction. After walking the State Fair Ground most of the day I was looking for some hydration as well as that caffeine jolt so nothing sounded more refreshing than a "Big Gulp" Mountain Dew. This 7-Eleven is not far from the exit, it's a little north of I-4 and getting back on the interstate in either direction is quick and easy. I guess the old adage "Thank Heaven for 7-Eleven" was on my mind as I neared the exit and my throat was definitely parched so that first sip really hit the spot. This store has a friendly staff who didn't seem to care if you take a few sips in between filling the cup to take the edge off and conserve some for the road. I didn't require any fuel but they sell Mobil at competitive prices. I was in and out of here pretty quick which is what I was hoping for. I'd do this again, this exit is really rural so no traffic in comparison to most so I'd recommend...

I went into the store and spoke with the female attendant about the transaction. she immediately started yelling at me saying it is not their fault there is a $150.00 hold, my FI (Financial Institution) did it, not them. I told her my FI does not place gas holds on our cards. She immediately screamed, yes, screamed for her manager as she wasn't going to deal with this. I started to talk to the "manager" and she immediately jumped in and told me they don't do that. Go talk to my FI. I left, went to my CU. They do NOT put holds on accounts. Now I have to wait until this fully processed before I can even use my account as they cleared out my $110.13 balance. DO NOT GO THERE. They have NO customer service attitude, plus many of their pumps are usually down. The place isn't that clean either. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
