The vibe is awesome with brick walls, tasteful decor, and pleasant music, and just what I look for in a local coffee shop. Prices are fairly reasonable with many drink and food options. Although there was a bit of line when I visited, it moved quickly and staff was efficient in getting ordered items out to guests. I went with a white mocha frappe (5/5), asking for it to be made less sweet. It's not something I ordinarily see on the menu at local coffee shops, so was delighted at how good it was, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It's shame that there's nothing like it at coffee shops close to where I live, as it's something that'd be in my regular rotation of caffeinated drinks I'd order. As my friends and I enjoyed our experience here, I'd definitely return to Black & Brew, and would recommend them to others looking for a quality coffee shop in Lakeland.

The lady working the front was so sweet when I told her how much I love the carrot cake she got me a fresh slice of a new cake and it was so good!! The carrot cake by itself would be perfect but velvety cream cheese icing on top really brings it together. No on this visit I did get a nice latte as well.
