I don't necessarily walk into a gas station thinking I'm going to get stellar customer service; I…read moredo, however, expect to be acknowledged when I'm directly in front of the attendant, money in hand, waiting to complete my purchase. Instead of a "Hi," "I'll be right with you," or even eye contact, I got silence as she wrote herself notes on receipt paper about 2 liter pop prices, and then fiddled around with some things around her register before any sort of acknowledgement. Slowly, taking her time. She didn't seem like she could be bothered with me. And then, when she finished her fiddling, she just looked at me. Erm. So awkward, and kind of inconsiderate. I mean...can you write your note after I pay? There's no one behind me. No one at all. Just me. Standing here. Only a counter between us. Waiting. Hellooo?? I have money! Oy. Aside from this awkwardness, I've fueled up here many times. Prices are usually decent, and their board outside showcases the current lotto jackpots.

As Luke said, lower gas price with car wash purchase, pretty much the same tactic that other places…read moreuse. Well, my black car was now a new color called salt. At 6$ for the basic wash, the savings on the gas made it more of a 3$ wash. I drive a RX300, and it's a bit curved at the bottom, because of this most of the automatic car washes don't get the bottom of the sides, this one did. No complaints, if you want cheaper there is a Thorton's up the street, no wash though.

Jaw dropping experience! This is the LARGEST store that I have ever been into! The place is…read moreimmaculately clean, every possible item that you can imagine and they have the nicest, most knowledgeable people working there! But the best part for me is their HUGE Vegan/Organic/Natural foods section! There are items there that I never heard about but am excited to try! I am so grateful to this store for having such an extensive array of vegan food. Plus this is an employee owned store. THEY ONLY ACCEPT THE DISCOVER CARD if you are using a credit card. Their gas prices are the cheapest around. I just wish that they were closer to where I live. Driving 20 miles to go to a store is a bit far but I can honestly say that it is well worth the trip! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! UPDATE!!! I cannot believe how much Woodman's has raised their prices! They are now higher than Whole Foods and Jewel's!!! I am shocked! Well I guess I won't be driving over 20 miles to go to Woodman's anymore. This is ridiculous. But you can't really blame them entirely. It's the POS in the White House that is mostly to blame. Him and his effin' tariffs.

This was my first experience at a Woodman's Market. I found it to be an okay experience but not…read morestellar. First, the store is enormous. You can probably find just about anything you need there. It kind of reminded me of Meijer but larger. The layout of the store is very confusing. Specialty items like gluten-free items can be mixed in with regular items, set off by themselves, or both. So, finding them wasn't that easy. From what we read of Woodman's before going, the did get good reviews on the amount and variety of gluten-free products. The same can be said for anything dairy-free. Their TV commercials talk about their great prices. I agree the items we saw on sale tended to be bargain, but the rest of the store seemed high. They are probably less expensive than Jewel, but more expensive than Valli Produce. We did get a lot while we were there and the total price was higher than we expected. So, overall, if you check their website for items on sale and you are near to a Woodman's, then by all means, the value is great. But if you don't live close to a Woodman's (like me), they aren't a great value but do have lots of specialty items.

Hit me for a .75 fee to use my debit card, is that even legal? Had two for on deal clearly marked but would not give it to me. Had 4 Cheez-It's for $2 opted to just get one and was charged a $1.50. for the 1.5 oz package. Many items are probably bought after cycling through other stop and shops, some even taste like incense.

Best advice is whatever you are going to buy ask for price FIRST before you go to counter and pay attention that he doesn't add any miscellaneous charges or fees. 1st visit: Bought a 12 pack of Modelo beer and he quoted price as $12.99. I forgot final price with tax. 2nd visit: Bought same 12 pack of Modelo beer within week and was quoted price as $13.99. I told him just few days ago he charged me $12.99. He gives excuse company raised price on him. 3rd visit: Go back 5 days later buy another 12 pack of Modelo beer and this time price is $14.99. I asked if every time I go in if he just magically raises prices and he gives same excuse company raise price on him. Stopped going for beer for awhile as Frontier Liquors on Rt 53. & Irving Park Rd has lower prices and doesn't jack it up on different visits. 4th visit: Probably 6 months after 1st visit I was in rush and decided to give him a try again and purchased a 12 pack of Montejo Beer and was quoted at $11.99. I didn't pay attention when he was ringing up the beer as friend who was with me was talking to me. But I paid with debit card and it didn't click till I looked at receipt later that owner Prince charged my debit card $16.55. Which is crazy to think I paid 38% tax or if owner added another $1 or $2 to fluff the total amount. 5th visit: I wanted to catch him in act so I bought a gadget he sold for $10 and told him to add a 2 liter of coke. He charged me $4 for a 2 Liter of Coke, I told him he's crazy if he thinks I'm paying $4 for a 2 liter of Coke. He gave excuse that company raised price on him and I said I'm going somewhere else. Cliff notes: Owner Prince is shady and will fluff your total at cash register so make sure you pay attention to that. Also always ask price on things before you go to register as he makes up different prices on different visits.
