The Indian guy wearing a turban that was working there on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:45pm tried to overcharge me for purchasing 13 PowerBall tickets (2x$13=$26) plus two scratchers at $20 dollars each (2x$20=$40). I handed him a $50 bill, plus I redeemed a winning scratcher worth $30. Instead of handing me $14 back in change ($80-$66=$14), he said I OWED HIM $36 more! Instead of apologizing for his mistake, he became upset with me for embarrassing him in front of other customers for not being able to do simple math. BEWARE! This is definitely one of the better 7-Elevens I've been to. The employees were super nice, some of the nicest I've ever seen. Unfortunately, a lot of the Slurpee flavors weren't working and the outside was pretty dirty but isn't that at every 7-Eleven. There was plenty of parking so that shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Let me start by saying I never write reviews on yelp. However, this is the 3rd time the Indian guy that is always there RIPPED me off!! He is never personable and If I could rate 0 stars I would! The main guy that is ALWAYS working during the day time rips me the 2$ off that I should get for buying 2 packs of Marlboro Special Select Cigarettes. This morning I put in my phone number and then he cleared the screen and acted like the screen wasn't working and I am always in a hurry to get to work. He tossed the receipt and I was in a hurry and had to get to work. I checked my debit card when I got to work to find out he cheated me AGAIN!! Two days prior, I went and bough the same 2 packs of cigarette and a Monster that was not on sale and got charged two dollars extra today, June 18th at 7AM!! When the female is working, she ALWAYS does it the correct way and even tells me if there is a way to save extra etc. THE MAN ALWAYS quickly throws away the receipt and when I ask for it he says, "what you don't trust me?" and laughs. Then he says, "oh next time I will give it to you." and the next time he cheats me AGAIN. There are 711s all over. This 7-Eleven is absolutely terrible. I wanted to purchase a lottery ticket because I was feeling lucky, and I do not buy those tickets often so I did not know that it was a cash only purchase. I walked up to the counter, and asked to purchase a ticket. At the moment, the guy behind the counter was talking to a coworker in I'm going to guess hindi, and ignored me while I stood in front of him for 30 secs. He rudely told me " CASH ONLY", the pointed to a sign on the counter and said " READ THE SIGN CASH ONLY" in a very rude manner, as if he was talked to an idiot. This 7-eleven is so dirty!! I love in the area and have been here several times just to try and give them the benefit of the doughy, but GROSS! I thought maybe they had a bad couple days when I went in but NO! This place is just dirty! Especially the coffee area, it doesn't look like they wipe anything down. The cappuccino machine is always broken. There's no organization or coffee variety. The trash is over flowing and there spilled coffee all over, it's disgusting! This is my go to 7-11 spot now typically all stores are the same but what keeps me loyal to this one is the service that Harry the night time worker provides. He always has a huge smile on his face, he is extremely nice to the customers and goes above and beyond to make sure you leave with a smile on your face too. 5/5 would recommend coming here, this man works very hard here every day and I believe his persistence in service should not go without being noticed! The Hispanic lady working this evening with all her tattoos showing with no uniform on was talking on her phone very loud and being unprofessional. She was trying to hurry me up and pay because she had someone else behind me instead of doing her job correctly. How are you going to tell a customer to hurry up and pay when your charging me incorrectly? The total did not add up and she refused to explain and instead said to hurry up. I told her to keep the items I refused to be overcharged. This 711 has a very bad reviews overall it seems like management or the supervisor needs to get involved ASAP. I visited this 7-11 today and had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with a man at the register named Singh. He became an extremely unpleasant and rude individual when I confronted him about their ATM machine shredding my $20 bill. He basically told me that it was my fault, and to call the bank. I explained that the machine was a 7-11 branded ATM, so therefore it was there responsibility to provide a resolution. The guy's English got worse with every question that I asked, and he got even more upset the longer that I stayed and questioned him. He finally gave me his name (was not wearing a name tag), but up to that point would not tell me how I could get in touch with management to address my concern. Horrible customer service. I filed a formal complaint. Call 1-800-255-0711 if anyone here gives you the runaround. If they get enough complaints they'll learn their lesson. Don't waste your time shopping here.
