When she did make my second cold brew she played it far away from the original that I had left on the counter and walked away. She clearly was hating her job at that moment. I called ans spoke with the manager James Winter and I see know why the service sucks because he sucks. When I said I understood that food service/retail is sometimes a tough job he interrupted me to say "no actually this job is fun and rewarding!". Ok James if it is so fun and rewarding Pigtails should have been channelling her inner Richard Simmons. People don't quit jobs they quit poor managers and this now explains the high turnover at this location.

Montreal is famous for its steak spice, smoked meat, party scene, and bagels. Coffee Bureau imports those bagels weekly and serves them up or sells them in the half dozen. Of course shipping costs and profit margins raise the cost for the bagels significantly but that's the cost of doing business. Their coffee prices are more in line with the standard prices and they make a good espresso. They use a solid locally roasted bean with Ace Coffee Roasters and know how to extract the flavour. The staff are friendly and attentive yet do not rush the process to make a great drink for your morning or afternoon. They service the downtown crowd so they close at 3pm daily. Come down and order a coffee and a toasted bagel with cream cheese an you might end up coming back more often, just like me!

All they said was "not again" they offered a refund so we got the money back, but we still ordered another donut because that was why we went there anyways. And they still tried charging us for them. AFTER WE FOUND HAIR IN THE DONUTS PREVIOUSLY. Who would want to pay for another donut after he pulled a hair out of his throat. I understand it was only a $1 but they were absolute rude and not accommodating.
