Fuel is ok, just their system is unique or I just trust Petro-canada more. Nice thing about this place, has a scotiabank atm, Tim horton's is inside but small space for a quick dining or you can go through drive thru. Staff is friendly, parking is sufficient. They do have a car wash but I don't think i'd use it. As for recommendations, I don't think so, only if you trust this place for your fuel. Good for a quick stop convenient store, that's about it.

Another positive is that they have the little switch you can flip down to keep pumping so you can get back in the car and attempt to not get frost bite on your bare hands while pumping gas for 5 minutes in -40 degree weather :-) God Bless Costco & Costco Gas. Only one thing would make me happier, okay - 2 things: If Costco Gas was 24 hours AND if they sold Propane at the Costco Gas stations for my BBQ :-) If you're listening up there in the ivory towers, that would be oh so handy Costco Gods!

My only qualm is that there are 3 pumps per each side, so you have to be good with parallel parking if the middle pump is free in your lane. The good thing about Costco is that it doesn't matter which side your fill tank is on because the pump hose can extend to the other side of your vehicle if needed. There's also no windshield wiping supplies at Costco gas pumps, I guess it keeps them efficient, but it's something I expect at any gas station. Otherwise it's an easy self serve with your Costco membership & MasterCard. Plus their gas prices seem to be one of the lowest in town! One suggestion I would make is that if you decide to fill up here, exit at the back of building to avoid the pedestrian traffic & the 2 way stop at the building's front entrance which takes forever to exit from.

Today, as I was going inside, I had to keep my eyes on several homeless blocking the front door, as they have been doing for several months now. I tripped on the concrete pad in front of the door, sprained both wrists, and nearly went head-first through the door glass. I informed the staff, who seemed disinterested, to say the least.

I got yelled at for nothing…read more I work nearby the Fas Gas and wanted to see what the store was like inside. All I can tell from the outside is that gas prices are always higher here than at any other gas station in the area. That aside a good snack selection can overcome many shortcomings. Not so in this case. When I stepped inside I first noticed how dark it was. It is a very small store with only the basics available. In the middle of the store is one double sided bank of candy and salty snacks. There was a small shelf with bags of chips near the double cooler of drinks. There was a deepfreeze of ice cream bars sitting next to an assortment of meat sticks. Prices seemed high compared to other locations nearby such as $2.50 for a Disney Princess sucker. Nothing special here. Someone was at the counter waiting to purchase an item. Her body language indicated that she had been waiting for some time. Her verbal confirmation of this came in the form of a few choice words said out to no one in particular. Why no one? Because the owner/employee was not in the store! After 45 seconds of looking around (that's all it took it was so small) I left the neglected customer and the store behind. That is when I heard a booming voice from behind me. "Hey!" From a pack of men visiting near the service station I saw a middle aged man with an accusatory tone yelling in my direction. I thought, "Is he talking to me?" and kept walking around the corner. Sure enough he chased after me, yelling. When I finally realized he was after me I stopped and spoke with him. He asked what I was doing in the store to which I replied looking around. I then informed him he actually had a paying customer waiting for him in the store at which point he looked confused, turned and walked away. Yelling at potential customers with an accusatory tone will not help business. Leaving customers unattended is even worst. I don't know how this place stays open when there is an amazing Mac's store just meters away.

On the sign at the gas station it said prepaid only so my husband walked in pre-paid $30 and came out to pump gas. With the cheap gas prices we didn't think it was going to be any more than that. Turns out it was only about $28.50. I know this because my husband was excited it was less than $30 to fill up. Turns out My husband checked his bank account today and found that the full $30 had been taken from his account!!! Just a straight up charge!!! Seems a little shady to me. I've been working in this area of the city the last few days and had to stop in to this gas station…read morethree times. All 3 times were negative enough for me to write my first review for a gas station. I had to wait quite a while for a pump the first time (it is what it is- not Shell's fault) but I also got stuck in their car wash line for over an hour and a half total. The first time I waited so long for my turn (with only 3 cars in front) that I was late for work, so I had to exit the line and come back later. I returned later in the afternoon and there were 4 cars in front of me and I sat in line again for over an hour and never made it past the second spot in line. The only opportunity to exit the line is when you get to the second spot in line- so if anyone comes in behind you you're stuck buddy! The staff inside were pretty unconcerned about the obvious issues with their car wash (evidently it kept breaking because staff were constantly in and out) and I had to ask for a refund at the end of the day because it would likely have been another hour before I made it into the car wash with the rate the line was moving. Not sure what's going on here, but definitely don't use this car wash unless you have all the time in the world!
