I have tried to give my business to this local car wash for last 5 years, even though vehicles have NEVER seemed properly clean, still film on vehicle once home, water does not seem clean, everything is in disrepair and patched together to try to keep working, stalls do not all have functioning equipment and the bottom line is: very poor water quality and vehicle does not come clean. You get home and look at your vehicle and say I need to wash my vehicle. Found out today that they apparently charge to use their poor quality vacuum, but their vacuums do not work! Everything is old and decrepit. I used to quickly blow my windows off and do a quick (poor quality) vacuum of my driver's floor after I paid because the quality of their blower and vacuum is so poor who would ever think there was a charge and many car washes these things are complimentary. Owner walked up to me today for the first time in 5 years and told me they "cannot afford for me or anyone to blow their veh off or vacuum after payment is made". I told him that I don't pay after because the blower barely works and their vacuums don't suck up anything! I said to charge is not fair. I told him that their water has soap in it on the rinse cycle, their blowers don't work and their vacuums are useless. Place is falling apart. He shrugged. I said that I come here only to support a local neighborhood car wash (Nottingham) and I said the place is in complete disrepair and is almost a scam as vehicles do not come clean. He knows I bring all 3 of my vehs to his business at least once a week. Still he tells me their prices are skyrocketing and they cant have anyone doing anything after paying. I said to him that air and vacuum are free at most places and they work amazing. He shrugged and suggested I use the new car wash near Costco. I said back to him, the one where the water is clean and the equipment works and it cost nothing to vacuum? He nodded. I said, "Gladly". Whenever I have told them something seems to not be working, they have always told me to go to another stall and never fixed anything. When you run a ship shod business and yet nickel and dime your loyal customers they will go elsewhere and will write a review. If his business was inspected by Strathcona County as to whether the customer was getting what we paid for, they would fail. I don't like being nickeled and dimed when your product is faulty and unreliable. Shame on you. I will happily go elsewhere. Your business is an eye sore in the community. You don't paint, mow, pull weeds, pave or uplift the neighborhood. You only care about how much money you can make vs how little you can put into your business. I thought you were better than this. YOUR WATER IS NOT CLEAN AND THE VEHICLES DO NOT COME CLEAN.

All the car wash building heard for ten minutes was a screaming Asian woman, as she sprayed and washed her car frantically. I used my credit card to pay the wash. IMPORTANT INFO: Make sure to press the STOP button in the charging machine once you are done with washing, otherwise, your credit card will be charged the maximum amount of the service which is $25. Also, don't be alarmed when you see in your bank account that you have a pending of $25 charge. The machine preauthorizes $25 in your card ahead of time, but will clear it to the actual amount in a few days..... A bunch of dumbasses in Google reviews keep complaining about this one.... The attendant was also courteous enough to remind me about that too... All in all, I paid only $8 for washing my car thoroughly, washing my mats, and vacuuming the interior of my car. Today I decided to go, and upon parking in the bay, was approached by 2 employees who offered to wash my car for training purposes. I was surprised at first but then obliged (free car wash- hello!). The older gentlemen training a younger teenager was excellent, kind and did a fantastic job. While he was explaining the different rinses etc. someone need help with the ATM machine, so they paused their work, which I was totally fine with and went to help the customer. It was not very busy at all, as I was the only vehicle in one of the bays, and only a couple in the 2nd one. Anyways, they returned to finish my vehicle and then another man appeared at the other end and pointed to the trainee and say "You! You work here??" and motioned for him to come over. He then started with say "Do you KNOW who I AM??!" ( I quickly learned that he was the owner) and he proceeded to VERY loud and angrily reprimand both employees where I could see and hear. It was honestly super uncomfortable. I just wanted to rinse off my vehicle and leave to go pick up my daughter. After that, they returned looking quite dejected. They finished the job and refused any money I tried to offer them. I said thank you and told them that the other guy was a dick. Upon leaving my review on their FB page, I quickly learned that there is an ENTIRE group dedicated to people who would like to see this owner (of both the Spruce and Stony) locations put out of business because of this very reason. Managed to give my car a quick hose and clean rinse for $5. The gentleman that was manning the area was delightful in answering my questions as well.

It was a bit dim - not as bright as I remembered, and there were a number of pairs of boots & sneakers hanging from the rafters, and no one manning the shop. There was one other patron... ok, didn't look too sketch - as a female patron you're always assessing risk in these isolated places. I used the change machine - very handy, and started my wash. I thought the water was a little cool, but it'll warm up... right? It was warm last time. But no, no it didn't. I finished my wash and headed out, still no one in the shop - I had thought perhaps they had gone to the facilities. Will try it again another day and see if it was a one-off
