This location is NOT getting an award for Outstanding Service! I only come to this location…read more'early' in the morning which would explain the bad attitudes. That aside, this is not the friendliest or most efficient location! Lately I've been waiting to just pass the New Milford store for my Siren bean fix. I STILL say the New Milford store in the BEST in the area although all the 'local' stores are excellent -- minus this one. If I order an accompanying egg sandwich, this is the ONLY store where it's NOT entirely hot or cooked through. Any other locale, sometimes too hot -- which is the way it 'should' be!

It behooves coffee shops and chains such as Starbucks and Dunkie to offer their customers a superlative experience. I'm a tea drinker and, like everyone else who consumes caffeine, want it my way. Too often when I order out I'm given the wrong tea or my request for foamy oatmilk is ignored. Or it's served weak. Or cold. This is, admittedly, a first-world problem. But here's the thing: I drink two cups of tea every day. I savor them. Look forward to them. They're my moments of daily bliss; a respite from the daily fray. If you want me to pay five bucks for my blessed cup of tea (and I'm happy to pay it, always with a tip), I'd like it to be made with some small measure of care. Seems a reasonable social contract, no? Well, these thoughts came up for me today during my trip through Danbury. When the mid-morning shift barista nailed my request. I got my Royal English Breakfast tea. I got it in the requested small (aka "tall") cup -- so the tea brews strong (rather than watered down from being in a larger cup). And, hey! I got my oat milk steamed lush and foamy. A perfect little symphony, exciting my senses, lifting my spirits, softening my heart, giving me a gleaning of hope and inspiration... therefore ascertaining my brand loyalty to the green and white logo. For now.
