This is the WORST gas station I have ever been to. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. That I go there there is an…read moreissue. It cannot accept my Giant Bonus points most of the time which is astounding since every other Shell can. But today took the cake - I tried multiple pumps and I couldn't get gas!!! Took my credit card, I selected my grade and put the pump in and the screen pops up with "thank you!" And I get a $0 receipt. On multiple pumps. It was amazing. I have never seen anything like it. Never go here if you NEED gas. I barely made it to another gas station - had 2 miles left according to my truck. Oh - and the next gas station had pumps that actually worked. Don't waste your time here.

The new owners have moved their repair shop to Carroll Fuel. Luke and his mechanics no longer work there. I understand that Luke is not planning on opening another business--apparently he has retired. The new owner demolished the old station across the street and is building a store and gas pumps, but will keep the Carroll Fuel for gas pumps, repair shop and U Haul rental. I have not used the new repair shop yet, and have no positive or negative recommendation. The new manager seemed very nice when I talked to him about the sale and their new plans. Luke, if you happen to read this, I am so sorry you are no longer working! We were so happy to have you work on our cars for decades, you were always the pinnacle of professionalism, helpfulness and generosity. I wish I knew how to contact you, as I would like to give you a retirement gift as a token of my gratitude. To the new owners: I hope you realize that Luke's former customers have very high expectations of quality service and professionalism. After a 6am run to the airport, (Oct 2025), I was in the mood for fried chicken, of all things. On the way home, I searched for who's open, and this Royal Farm said they opened at 5am! I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)

Since I am a RoFo rewards member my coffee was only 1.99 would have been 2.49 at regular price. They have one of those machines that brews the coffee fresh each time. Nice to know it hasn't been sitting all day. Store wasn't busy this morning. They didn't have any cashiers but they have two self service registers. Prices are what you would expect for any convenience store. I have been here on other occasions to grab a beverage or snack. Overall not a bad place so I will return.

Lots of times, auto are centers or lube places have very unprofessional personnel's greeting customers, you know? Anyhow, they sent someone to check the lights and said they'd give me an estimate. However, they fixed the issue while inspecting, so I really felt like I didn't have a choice but to pay. While waiting for the service, one of the guys behind the desk asked me "Where are you from?" I knew what he meant but said the city I currently live in, so he countered with "No, I mean where your parents are from." He said he knows someone who looks just like me.
