Get Amazon packages 24/7 outside the Waterloo Shell in Columbia MD…read more My 4th nearby Amazon Locker to get deliveries is in the Waterloo Shell gas station. It's a little bit off my regular path, but because this locker is outside, it's available 24/7, which at means I can be driving by any time. This, like the indoor lockers i have used, only keeps a package for 3 days before returning it. (One place with a return "counter" gives you more than a week.) It's quick and easy to use the Amazon app to open the locker and grab your stuff. So far, there's been curbside parking available in front of the locker every time that I've come here.

The only thing that sucks is the exit puts you out into the top of a three way intersection (basically forming a four way intersection) - so its really hard to know if the person opposite of you is going to let you go or not. Should they? They have a stop sign, you don't... but you're also not technically on a road (leaving a parking lot)... Oh well. Oh - they take Plenti Rewards too.. which unfortunately award by galon not by dollar value - but still. They also have a car wash and discounts on gas if you use it - I haven't yet.

Another nice thing about the shop is their bathroom. Yes; their bathroom is not your typical gas station bathroom, it's very nicely designed and very clean. I typically only leave reviews for restaurants however, since I have been a regular customer of theirs for some time, I really wanted to reach-out and leave a nice review since they work hard to keep it clean and organized. A well deserved 5 minutes of my time to write a review. Best, Mike S.

It sort of makes sense, this is a lone gas station without much competition... and frankly, if you're out here getting gas, you either really need gas or live in the area - either way, you probably don't care about the 5 cents. But if you do - open up Gas Buddy and see if there is something cheaper on your route. For me - I was really low, saw it was expensive... but I was heading to Columbia, it couldn't be any more expensive than HoCo prices? Right? Wrong, the one up the street from my home was cheaper.

After a 6am run to the airport, (Oct 2025), I was in the mood for fried chicken, of all things. On the way home, I searched for who's open, and this Royal Farm said they opened at 5am! I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)

I had asked him a few questions about the machine but had a hard time understanding him. There was a communication barrier. I paid and on my receipt there was a code to type in at the machine. I went through the car wash and was not pleased with the outcome. It wasn't clean to my satisfaction (spotty in areas such as trunk lid and tires) and it didn't dry completely.
