Should they? They have a stop sign, you don't... but you're also not technically on a road (leaving a parking lot)... Oh well. It sort of makes sense, this is a lone gas station without much competition... and frankly, if you're out here getting gas, you either really need gas or live in the area - either way, you probably don't care about the 5 cents. But if you do - open up Gas Buddy and see if there is something cheaper on your route. For me - I was really low, saw it was expensive... but I was heading to Columbia, it couldn't be any more expensive than HoCo prices? Right? Wrong, the one up the street from my home was cheaper.

If you come during the weekend or during rush hour time during the week expect a wait. They do have a fair number of pumps but when it's busy the traffic gets backed up, looking at you TJs next door lol. The quality of gas is fine I've never had any issues and imo the value is solid as they are typically the cheapest. The staff here are friendly and the site is always well kept and clean.

After a 6am run to the airport, (Oct 2025), I was in the mood for fried chicken, of all things. On the way home, I searched for who's open, and this Royal Farm said they opened at 5am! I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)

Since I am a RoFo rewards member my coffee was only 1.99 would have been 2.49 at regular price. They have one of those machines that brews the coffee fresh each time. Nice to know it hasn't been sitting all day. Store wasn't busy this morning. They didn't have any cashiers but they have two self service registers. Prices are what you would expect for any convenience store. I have been here on other occasions to grab a beverage or snack. Overall not a bad place so I will return.

When I went to pay at the machine through the car wash line I got an error message. My husband goes here occasionally and was with me so I thought maybe I swiped my card the wrong way. He told me to swipe it again in another direction. Again, I still received the error message so I tried another credit card to no avail. I had to go inside to get assistance. I had asked him a few questions about the machine but had a hard time understanding him. There was a communication barrier. I paid and on my receipt there was a code to type in at the machine. I went through the car wash and was not pleased with the outcome. It wasn't clean to my satisfaction (spotty in areas such as trunk lid and tires) and it didn't dry completely. Guess you get what you pay for. At the very least the dust was washed off. In a pinch I would come here but I would go elsewhere for a thorough wash.

I went with a couple of friends as we were going to an O's game, and cheaper to eat here than at Camden Yard. They were pretty efficient not having to wait too long on that Saturday. My only issue is that I wish they had some seating somewhere. We ate outside sitting on the curb.

The fuel bays are well lit at night as I do a walk around of my new vehicle to look for any new scars or marks, while pumping gas. They have several window washing areas, complete with a window wash fluid, a squeegee and paper towels. While pumping gas recently, I watched as a guy at an adjacent pump proceed to pull the front of his pants down and piss on the gas pump while he filled his girlfriend's tank with $3.00 of gas! The area is full of trashy people, so If you are traveling through, it's safe to stop here as Howard County police are usually patrolling, but lock your car door once you get out.
